Good morning guys

After funding the blocked account, do I also have to provr how I got the funds for it?

Also is there a telegram or whatsapp group?
In most cases, you don't need a proof but depending on the German bank, if they request, you have to show.

If there was a telegram or WhatsApp group, I'm sure you may not find this page or this information

Good Day house...pls i have a question
I applied for Bachelors under category B but my intention originally was going for studienkolleg but now i plan on going for a language training(German B2) before going into studienkolleg(i have German B1 Goethe certificate already)...
I don't know if I'm going to be allowed into the visa section

Or still if i decide to go for studienkolleg am i still going to be allowed into the visa section?
(Studienkolleg,BSC, language training are all in the same section B)
If you have an appointment at the embassy and have the documents, you will be allowed in for your interview.
But don't go there sounding confused and unclear. You will write a motivation letter, let that guide you.

Good morning guys. I have a visa appointment next week and I have a few questions.

First, I haven’t been issued a funding confirmation for my blocked account but the money has been transferred and I have proof of payment. Will that suffice? (The person that helped me pay delayed the payment)

Secondly, I was given an admission letter for Winter semester 2022. Is the admission letter considered up-to-date? (I have requested for an enrollment certificate from my school and they have mailed it but I haven’t received it)
Your school dont have a portal you can simply download from?
Or tell them to send it via email or provide a Germany residence address in c/o, I am not sure they will mail it Nigeria.
You need a proof to of enrolment to validate your current admission, anyways the embassy will definitely confirm your studentship.

Please what are the documents needed to be taken for an interview ?
Will all the documents be collected down and passport after the interview ?
Read the checklist of documents on the website. https://nigeria.diplo.de/ng-en/-/2568986

Some of you guys ain't helping yourselves.
If you're going for interview, you must have waited 1-13 months and by now, you should familiarise yourself with all nontechnical info.

*The motivation letter should be focused on:
Why Germany?
Why the particular course
Prospects after graduation
Why you must return to Nigeria after graduation.

Please I need info. Please which school doesn't require a test of English as admission requirements. I currently have a master degree in a university in Europe. Can I also attach the masters degree along with other documents when applying for another master degree in a Germany university?
Sure you can be exempted if your MSc in Europe was in English too.

Unikoblenz, RPTU, Uni Köln, Uni Trier, Uni Bielefeld

You can appeal by writing a remonstration letter WITH A DIFFERENT PROOF OF Funds, preferably a blocked account.

The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Accra is only responsible for applicants who are permanent residents in GHANA, LIBERIA and SIERRA LEONE. The Embassy will NOT accept visa applications of persons who cannot provide evidence that their habitual abode (permanent residence of at least six months) is in one of the aforementioned countries.

How can we apply in Ghana when we need at least 6 months PR to enable us apply for German visa.
That's right. Its like a golden rule for all countries and visa applications. Although some might compromise if not clearly stated (as in some Gulf countries).

Responding to your last statement, it's possible for some people who have the means. It can save them a couple of months BUT consider also that Germany do not have Consular offices (for visas) in Liberia and S/Leone, so they might have a very little effect on waiting time too.
But we cannot be so sure that shorter waiting time equals higher success/approval rates.

Be guided.

Hi Mr. AAA

In a situation where one has admission to resume in April 1st 2023, already booked for appointment this January where it's started one has to be in school in March and is yet to get an appointment date, what do you advise the person does.
1. If not CAT A, defer the admission IF possible.
2. Temporarily forget Germany, try other countries if available
3. Begin prepare for proof of funds if not readily available
4. Do other things with your life (relevant skills learning, jobs, training etc.)
5. If deferment did not work out, apply again in June, or December as applicable.

If you're not a Cat A candidate, forget about this particular admission session except a number of your lectures and exams will be online (including paper submissions type of exams). Look at this in a positive way... Learn a skill, if you are IT inclined, befriend github.

Hi guys, please i have a question about the blocked account. When one is already in Germany can you use another bank account to receive your fintiba monthly payment or it has to be a bank account in your name?
Thanks
Your own account with a matching information, otherwise, you might run a risk of money laundering.

Others can say something.

But why would you think of using an account not in your name?

Please guys I need your opinions on this matter. I am a chemical engineering graduate and I want to go for masters in Germany but most of the chemical engineering courses and related courses are taught in German, so I decided to go for Msc. Chemistry in Germany. What do you guys think about this? Cause I don't even know how to start my motivation letter knowing fully well that Chemistry is lower than Chemical engineering.
You graduated from a course that is higher than Chemistry and many of us had graduated also from a course 'lower' than Chemistry.

A higher degree graduate should at least know how to start a much lower letter.

Thank you guys for the support so far. I wrote the letter to Hamburg university of Technology and I just got a reply from them that the English test is compulsory. So the Test Waiver was denied. I guess I have to prepare for IELTS before the deadline. Thank you so much guys, I appreciate. Please who is attending the Hamburg University of Technology? How's the place like for international students
If you are not keen on Hamburg, you can try some others too.

This visa issue may begin worrisome for universities and stricter admission requirements may begin to kick in.

Universities are complaining already that the embassy processing time is affecting their plans too.
Imagine a department admits 20 students from 3rd world countries, nearly all of them have to wait for at least 9 months for visa processing.

Simple letter of few lines saying Nigeria uses English in teaching and during your study from high school through uni (if applicable) uses only English.

Schools usually can provide this same document if you have time.

Hello everyone, Please I have a question. I'm applying to the Univeristy of Hamburg to do my masters, do I need to upload my transcript through uni-assist or what. Also, I'm yet to write my IELTS and deadline for submission of my documents is 1st of March, can I upload other documents and write to the school that I'm yet to get my IELTS result as I plan on writing it before the deadline.
If you're applying through uniassist, you should upload every relevant document there and name them correctly, e.g., XYZ_CV, XYZ_BSC, XYZ_TRANSCRIPT...

As for the IELTS or English proof, write to the admission office for a possible waiver for the English language requirements given that you are from an English speaking country and the language of instruction during your education is exclusively English language.

Hi everyone,
I applied for family reunion for my spouse and child and I know we need blocked accounts for them.

Please do I open separate blocked accounts for my spouse and child in their names or will all the money be in my own student blocked account?

I look forward to your responses, please.
Thanks.
I personally do not have this experience.
I think it would be a different account for your spouse while that of the child would be in either yours or your spouse's. Because there is a maximum blocked amount which cannot be more than 16k I guess.

Easiest way is to contact your Ausländer office, either by phone, email or in person.

Is it up to 5 working days since you paid?
Normal timeline is 3-5 working days to reach the bank, another 3-5 working days for your bank to receive and confirm it before notifying you.
Only worry when it's more than 10 working days from initiation, though usually less.

The national language of Nigeria is English. If he was raised speaking English he therefore qualifies as a native speaker of English. He wouldn't even need a waiver. He should clarify to the university that he originates from an English speaking country, this could be coming from ignorance on the university's part.
This was where you categorically stated that he qualifies as a native speaker of English. I only earlier said what he is not a native speaker of English language despite that Nigeria is English speaking country.
Someone else said the same thing where we suggested either he presents the test results or explain for a waiver, or request for English as language of instruction from his former sch.

After back and forth messages... You are now agreeing with my first comment-"Nigeria is not a native English speaker but English speaking country and he can appeal for a waiver".

I'm sorry but that makes absolutely no sense at all. The official language of Nigeria is English. The English we speak in Nigeria isn't Latin. What brings colour and the US into this?
You're right... Official language means lingua franca. But can Nigerians in different regions communicate if you ban English language? Yes they can using mother language, but if you ban English in native English countries, there will be no communication except for those who learned a foreign language.

That's the difference.

Nativity in language is what's left when all other learned languages are removed.

You can argue though, it just wouldn't change anything.

Let's not speak without facts. The fact that Nigeria has a high illiterate population does not invalidate the fact that it is an ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRY. I'm not talking about learning a second language or whatever language your parents speak. The first language that you learn from birth is your native language/mother tongue regardless of your ethnicity or place of origin. He's from an English speaking country (Nigeria) and if his first language is English then he is a native speaker of English.

It's funny that you'd say this but many Nigerians only know how to speak English. What would be their mother tongue according to you then?
You can drag from now till eternity... Nigerians are not native English speakers.
I'm reiterating it so you won't go out there and make these claims to the amusement of others.

As for your last question, if you know how to speak only English, that's your own loss of mother tongue and nativity, it doesn't and will not change the fact.

Native English language countries are not the same as English speaking countries.
In Africa, only Sierra Leone and Liberia are considered native English speakers, all other African countries speaks English as lingua franca.

You can only appeal for a waiver based on lingua franca.

If after 200 years, English is now spoken by everyone in Germany, Germany will only become an English speaking country and not a native English/mother language.

Do your own findings the basis for mother tongue and nativity of language.

Let's not be ignorant, Nigerians do not qualify as native speakers.

If I learn Hausa, and I'm from the South South, I do not qualify as a Hausa native speaker and I have to prove as whoever needs it wants.

It actually written in their website that if your mother tongue is english language there is no need of submitting English proficiency certificate
Is your mother tongue English?
Nigeria only speaks English as second language.
You can ask if they would accept a waiver based on English as your second/official language, education in English or a letter from your university that English was the language of instruction.

Otherwise, you need any of the English tests

Some countries were English language is their mother tongue are England/UK, USA, parts of Canada, Australia, New Zealand and some other island countries.
