ile naira: Mr Aboki, I'm not sure what you're defending or even whether you know anything about weapons. Have you ever attended a weapons safety course? Before you lend credence to carelessness and allow a culture of 'accidental discharges' to continue claiming lives, think.I havent attended any weapons safety course unfortunately, but I do know quite a bit about weapons. ile naira: For your information, guns don't just 'malfunction'. If the person in charge of the gun is not in a state of alert, why was the safety off? Why was the automatic mode engaged? why was a loaded weapon allowed to be in a position of falling or slipping? You will notice the highlighted portion of your post.. That my friend is a blatant lie.. Every Mechanical equipment can malfunction, especially if poorly maintained.. Thats why Mechanical effieciency can never be 100%. Now, before you start judging; 1. below is an extract from the main article; Etumgbe: The policeman, identified as Sergeant Peter Adegbesan, was said to have left his service riffle uncorked when it fell from his hand and started firing.I dont know about you o, but when I hear that a weapon is 'uncorked', it means that it isnt in 'firing mode'. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. 2. The article never said that his weapon was set to 'full automatic'.. However, what the article did say was that his weapon slipped out of his grasp, fell to the ground and started firing off rounds. By interpretation, his weapon was firing off rounds like it would do in 'full automatic' mode. Now here is where the problem lies.. A weapon can slip and fall to the ground.. Its called 'AN ACCIDENT'. Accidents do happen, even to the best of us. But for a weapon to hit the floor and start firing off continiously like that, it means that the weapon 'MALFUNCTIONED'. #Period... This cannot be blamed on the officer in question. The gun might as well have malfunctioned whilst it was hanging from his back or even in the middle of combat. It simply means that the weapon was defective.. 3. Why was a weapon allowed to slip out of the grasp of an officer?! Same reason a hammer slips out of the grip of a carpenter, or a paint brush out of the hands of a painter, or even a knife out of the hands of a butcher.. its called 'AN ACCIDENT'. ile naira: No wonder idiotic police walk around with their gun safety catches off in the most unwarranted of places because the average Nigerian will excuse it and mouth the usual 'Eyah / RIP'.#FINALLY... Before we rush off to judge this officer like the Mob that tried to lynch him, lets remember the following; 1. Its not normal for even a corked full-automatic rifle to fall to the ground and start firing off repeated shots like that.. Thats an anormally. We cant blame the officer for this. 2. Accidents do happen.. Thats why they are called accidents. |
yuzedo: is truth. i neeeeeeds ten thousand copys for my lonelyness!!!Dont mind the girl.. She likes the suffer head of Soweto better than the enjoyment of a 2 acres Mansion, with swimming pool, yatch and helicopter garage in Banana Iceland.. But bros, you never pay me the 50 Naira for the Oroboh Miranda wey you buy yesterday. And you still hold my bottle. |
bigbasho: I dnt bliv in accident when it comes to rifle handling. Have u ever heard that happen in the military? Just because they lack firing discipline. Y will ur riffle fall? U see most of this policemen swinging their riffle on d street wch is supposed to be faced down at evry point in time.Yes! It does happen in the military.. Accidents happen.. In this case, its was just so unfortunate to be a case of 'An accident that led to an Incident'.. |
kambee: hahahahaha lmao can't stop laffing daddy Aboki..Screw Toolz... Hellooo Kambee... You can slap me around, spank me and make me call you whatever you like.. ![]() Holla at your Aboki.. |
yuzedo: Two days ago my car stalled on Third Mainland Bridge and i had it towed off the bridge for repairs. While the mechanic was working on it, i caught sight of a young mother walking with her possibly 18-month old daughter. She stopped and proceeded to wear a hijab on the little girl. Perhaps i should say "attempted", because this act was vigorously resisted by the little angel.. She cried, wailed, forced off most petulantly this religious garment with all the righteous tears and power her little body could muster. She eventually won the battle and walked away with hand in hand with the exasperated mother, her victory instantly forgotten, but the peace and comfort of not having to wear that cloth radiating all over her precious face. This is deep... Its never too late to learn.. #Join an adult Education Programme now... This message is sponsored by - Okija Juju, Author of "No school for Eze Mmuo" ©1786 |

ile naira:FOOD FOR THOUGHT Did the gun malfunction?! Was the gun slipping out of the officers hands 'negligence' or an 'accident'?! If the gun malfunctioned, was the malfunction as a result of 'negligence on the part of the officer' or simple 'mechanical failure'?! What exactly did the officer do wrong?! |
phardeylush: Erm... Questions;Hmmmm! So since you girls (or should I say Ladies) want a female tenant, Can I Aboki come and visit you ladies just to make sure you are all alright?! ![]() I'm serious o!! Infact, I'm willing to take up the cost of maintaning the house.. YES!! I'm a philantropist like that... You can call me Phill.. ![]() |
First of ALL, I have absolutely nothing reasonable to say on this Topic. Infact, I only rushed to comment because of the Opportuinity to be 'FIRST TO COMMENT'.. I dont even see why this type of News made the frontpage at all as this is not News to Nigerians at all. We all know that the 'Legal Thieving' in Nigeria is bigger than the 'illegal thieving'. SO for this reason all I want to say on this topic is; NO COMMENT... Deut. 28:13 King James Bible And the LORD shall make thee the First, and not the Last; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath..... #This is your portion in life in Jesus Name!! ![]() |
phardeylush: There is a newly built 4 bedroom terrace for share.Erm... Questions; 1. Can a guy rent this room?! 2. Who pays for the maintanance of the common areas (Kitchen, Living room, e.t.c). 5. Are the girls fine?! Single? Employed? and Nymphos?! ![]() @ Docjuli:: Odikwa very risky!! ![]() |

Clemzy16: "When a person suffers from delusion it is called madness, when a group of people suffers from delusion it is called religion."Since we cant tell who is fake and real, I suggest a blanket banning of all Pentecostal churches.. Any one that will be allowed to operate in the State should be taxed and made to carry out social responsibility works worth atleast 40% of their gross annual income (after taxes).. |
Soreza: so nigeria is the good samaritan sending troops to malis, spending millions of dollars, and loss of our soilders lives,is just a necklace called mali award we receive, this big brother merciful heart gat to stop, exactly what we did for south africa and all they can pay us later was deportation of our citizens and killing them there, lets give mali 6 to 7 yrs then we will remind them of what we did for them after their deportation or worst even@young politicianWhat does the bible say about doing good to those that despise you? |

Fesisko: not necessary Ak47, there is this particular gun :FMC, that fire automatically the moment it fall, or is been hit with any hard object. it will be shooting rapidly, without you the handler pressing the trigger. that gun has no safety cache.P.S:: Isnt that gun Manufactured in Nigeria?! |
Seenyo: D clueless shepopotamuse @ it again! Even when d retardeen has so far delivered darkness/retogression et-al!Dont blame the Egberipapa or the Shepopotamus for your problems in Life.. Others are advancing under this government, the others are complaining.. ![]() |
R.I.P Mr. Deputy Speaker sir... I hope to God that this accident was not caused by you and your escorts driving at breakneck speed.. |
dapojaja: A friend's cousin(kid) from America, while coming all the way from airport and passing thru our roads could not help but exclaimed "wow! i love nigerian policemen, they are carrying big heavy guns, meeen! They got to shooot grrrrrrrrr! gaagagagah!" Policemen in civilized countries like US, UK (can't ascertain others) don't carry automatic rifles, they only go about with pistols. 'm not saying Nigerian policemen should hand down their rifles, not especially when touts, robbers and boko guys could be in possession of far more sophisticated firearms, 'm just lamenting of the state of insecurity in the country where security men lack essential security facilities yet several billions of naira just grow legs and walk away from what we all called govet purse. The Nigerian Polices answer to Criminals carrying big weapons, was to equip the Nigerian Police with big weapons as well.. Forgetting that it isnt the size of a weapon that determines the outcome of a gunfight, but the training and handling of that weapon. |
triploc: am at a job interview venue am among the next batch to enter, pls wish me luck my dear friends. My Son, it is well with you... Recieve your blessing and spiritual employment letter in Jesus name; https://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m970rkvDCP1qf613r.gif |
PDP Cannot be stopped in Nigeria.. Especially not by APC (A purely 90% Yoruba/Hausa Party).. The only wayPDP will leave office is throught the creation of a brand new Political Party by a revolutionary youth movement. this Party would first start from the Grass root to sweep up votes and in 12 years, work its way to winning the Presidency.. If not.. Na PDP till Nigeria split. They are the devil we know. And though we dont love them, we prefer them to the other Devil that we know. Sai Jonathan... |
While APC are hating on him in Nigeria, President Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Abdullahi Temitope Coulibaily Jonathan has just been made the Egberipapa 1 of Mali.. Congratulations Your Excellency Sir.. |
