Bigchristo:But you saw in the write up that O2 Arena posted this news on their own Twitter page. Are you saying they were bribed to lie or they don’t know how many tickets they have sold? You guys should try to be objective nau. |
Hopebringer:Essence was written by Wizkid, Tems, Legendary Beatz and Richard Isong. |
Hopebringer:Following your logic, Wizkid was “given” a Grammy for his feature on Beyoncé’s song. Thus, he doesn’t deserve the award abi? Agreed. Now, when Essence wins a Grammy, I hope you would realize that Tems also won’t deserve the award since she was only featured. You see your double standards now ba? As for me, as long as you are on a song, you deserve all the credits that’s how it works. Just like in football, everyone has his role to play to deliver a win for the team. I hope you’re doing well in real life sha. Cheers. |
Kingspin:That's the sad reality. Even worse is to imagine the next idiot to rule come 2023. Quite worrisome. It almost feels like there's no more hope for this country. |
Kingspin:You are very shallow. I am non-partisan. Specifically, I don't give two rats about Buhari, APC or PDP. I just don't like when people attach sentiments to everything. In this case, my point was clear - Goodluck wasn't voted out because Nigerians hated the South South. Rather, he lost the election because the opposition capitalized on his shortcomings which they blew out of proportion using the media. |
Kingspin:What does "because he hailed from the south south" mean? Nigerians don't have any issue with South South abeg. Goodluck was the architect of his own downfall. He was overwhelmed and got swept off his feet before he could even blink. |
RZArecta: This cracked me up mehn. Thanks for the heads up. |
TrumpDonald2:Thank you. It's feeling more like the Venza to me. Another thing I am considering is what the Venza would be like in another 3 years. I don't want a car that would be so outdated by then. |
BarrSly:I did some additional research after creating this topic and I now laugh at myself for putting the rover on this list . Lols. |
Alex80s: That's how I feel about the Venza too, it's not quite common amongst corporate car users. However, I prefer it's look as compared to the Highlander. For me the Highlander feels more like a family car and I am just about to get married so I dont need all that space. It's on my list because of its durability (I have never seen a Highlander breakdown in the middle of the road). |
lagusboyyy:Thank you. Would appreciate other inputs here too. |
Hello Nairalanders, I am trying to make a decision on what Nigerian Used SUV I can buy with a budget of N4m. Below are the options I'm considering. 1. Toyota Venza 2011 2. Ford Explorer 2011 3. Toyota Highlander 2011 4. Land Rover HSE 2010 Kindly advise on what you would consider the best option given the budget, cost of maintenance, durability, etc. Appreciate your responses. Thanks. @GAZZUZZ @TrumpDonald2

P1PrinceKT:You are either a killer yourself or the worst kind of simp ever know to man or you are just chasing clout. No sane human would support this rubbish. Seeing her picture alone disgusts me. |
tosaino95:Your issue is not transport fees. Even if your new employer offered to increase your salary by the 11k transport to 41k monthly, you would still look for another reason not to work. Please look inwards and you would find your answer. Cheers. |
DDDEnterprises:Una don start to dey package rubbish on this forum. That's how you guys packaged Buhari. From the pictures, how many people are seen campaigning? Not even up to 15. God would punish all of you and your generations. You would not die well. They are all the same. You better change the title to "click of friends campaign for Yahaha Bello" . Nonsense!!! |
BassReeves:Bola Ahmed Tinubu |
prettyboi1:This shows you what nairaland has degraded to. Imagine nationals from other countries seeing this when they search the Internet on what to do while choking. You would never find this on quora. Just a few months ago, I was choking on bread...bread o. I swallowed too fast. It was hell that day thank God for the Internet. |
colorsofrainbow:Tolerance Becoming Crime By Dr Chinedu Akabuike 1. Why do we hate Tinubu? What for? 2. Tinubu never worked with federal or Eastern Nigeria let alone stealing money from Ndi Igbo. He never worked as Minister or taken any Federal Appointment! 3. He never joined APGA let alone sabotaging our Party's interest? 4. Tinubu didn't meddle in Igbo internal affairs either! 5. Why do we call him thief? What did he steal? 6. We call Yoruba "slaves". We never reflect on what it means to be slaves in the true sense of the word. 7. We are putting mouth in Lagos politics without caution, yet we have a proverb that says it is the foolish housefly that follows the corpse into the grave. 8. Can Yoruba man become an Association or Local Government Chairman in the East? Let us be sincere with ourselves. Yet we enjoy all these privileges here including Assembly Membership! 9. Why asking for what we can't give? 10. We are here helping the "slaves" to develop their land. Who then is a slave? 10b. You call their city a no man's land so that we can further be enslaved slaving to develop it, and our generations are wasted gloating over mere privileges. Who is a slave. Do we actually think? 11. Can Yoruba tell Okorocha "o to gee" in Owerri? He doesn't even need it. He is too intelligent to die for a pot of ofe manu or nothing. 12. After the civil war, for many of us who were old enough to have witnessed it, the Yoruba were the first to open their arms to receive and accept us as we were, crude savages in search for means of survival. It was regardless of what we equally did to them before and during the civil war. No party to the civil war was innocent! I also remember not paying any rent among Yoruba guys without a penny for my first 3years in Lagos and another 2 years in Ibadan. 13. Can we survive Yoruba attack in Yoruba land if they actually mean to? Will an Mbaise man cooperate with the Nsukka or Afikpo, or the Imo with Anambara? 14. If we all decide to relocate at once, Babangida send me home phenomena is still in the memory of some of us who survived the incessant and uncontrollable spate of robbery across the Onitsha bridge. How many people will want to go in spide of our empty pride? 15. If Yoruba people are as foolish as we foolishly think, why agitating? How will agitating be to our benefit? 16. Why not "O to gee" in Abia, Enugu or Owerri? 17. Can a man from Aba become a Commissioner or P.S. in Enugu State Civil Service? Yet it happened here! Why not be careful. 18. We adopted APGA and but "wisely" voted PDP. How was Tinubu our headache. Was he the cause of our downfall? Why always blame others for our inabilities and want to take glory for any small thing we think we have done well and even overblow it? 19. We claim we were so creative during the civil war. Now history. We also claim every made in Nigeria is from Aba. But go to Oyo and Oshogbo to see what "lazy" mechanics are doing quietly in the automobile industry, yet we make noise that other ethnics are either mumu or lazy except we (alagbara ma mero baba ole; the most hardworking humans who cannot develop their own land unfortunately). 20. Why looking for avoidable problem? Why? 21. It was you in the North being attacked, in Malaysia being killed, in Gabon and Ghana being molested. 99.9% of Nigerians killed in South Africa are of Igbo extraction, and sometimes by fellow 'hardworking' Igbo. Why? 22. We choose Kanu and he dictates to us without consultation with any one of us. They choose Tinubu who becomes a hero among them by bowing to or adopting the choice of their majority. Why are we angry? We choose Azikwe and they choose Awolowo. How are they more mumuish followers than ourselves? Zik became a president and we gained from it, Awo was only a premier, but we are only struggling to beat their records in all ramifications including education till today. How are they mumus? We choose APGA and they choose APC, why agitating? Yoruba are yet to say Tinubu is their problem why do we want to die for nothing? Why working in APGA but planning to collect salaries in APC? I pray for the success of Biafra, but do we still remember that as Igbo we will automatically become foreigners on the streets of the Lagos we call a no Man's land? How many of us will actually want to relocate home, should Biafra actualises or if if citizenship is on the condition that you relinquish all other citizenship in Africa? I leave that answer to the individual. |
edoman2016:I hope you no longer carry this mindset. People earn as much as N3m monthly from paid employment here in Nigeria. N500k is a low salary band. |
Valkrie:What next after guns are distributed and the Fulani manace has been eradicated? Have you thought of the aftermath effect on the society? Please watch the video I uploaded. You would understand my point of view. |
dederocs:How has Nigeria done so far with regards to enacting and enforcing laws? Nothing works in Nigeria. Allowing guns and hoping for it's control by laws is wishful thinking. Laws don't work in Nigeria. |
IPOBTERRORISTS:Yeah but then when everyone around you has guns, there is a higher threat to life. It would be instrumental in the short-term against the Heardsmen/bandits but in the long run, people can be jacked on a steady for just peanuts. Robberies, Murders, Manslaughter would increase, nowhere would be safe. Even with gun control laws, US of A is still having it hot from misuse of forearms now imagine where there is no gun control which would surely be the case in Nigeria. |
Mightyhaiz:I would rather we go for restructuring or we break up. |
Check this video out to understand why we would create a bigger monster by allowing the general public carry guns. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Id9pd8zfQcs |
Lalasticlala Please move to Fp. |
I have continuously read in amusement how people are now increasing clamouring that the general public should be allowed to carry firearms as a self defense tool against the ongoing Fulani Heardsmen Crisis. My friends, this is a bad move. While there are merits to the fact that it would wade off opportunistic attacks from the Heardsmen, there are also strong demerits particularly in the aspect of misguided and unwarranted usage by civilians in themselves. Nigeria is not just the country where gun laws can work so there would definitely be an almost non-existent gun control system. We would eventually end up creating worse that we tried to solve. The video below buttresses my fears. Please watch. VIEWERS DISCRETION IS ADVISED. NOT GRAPHIC BUT VIDEO IS EXTREMELY DISTURBING. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Id9pd8zfQcs

blackgold90:Jonathan is to be blamed here not the Yorubas. If he was at least productive to a reasonable degree, we would have not needed to vote a dimwitted slowpoke like Buha-ri. Truth be told, Jonathan brought us into this mess. |
What exactly does "armed bandits" mean? Why is the media trying to change the narrative? |
Raptor22:There are 500k lands just after NNPC and on Akala way you would find N10m just on the main road. This is verified as at December. |
