11th July, 2023 remains the day i will never forget in my entire life, the day fire razed down the entire building where my one room apartment was, leaving me with nothing than only the clothes I put on to my hustle. I don't know if this kind of thing has happened to somebody before in this way.

Something like this can make someone commit suicide especially when you are still trying to come up in life.

This happened in the White House Street, in Calabar, Cross River State. You can see the pictures as attached. My name is Umoh and I am one of the people that stayed in the building.

Not even another boxer was removed from the house as the fire finished everything.

Since then, with no savings to pay for another apartment immediately, I have been roaming the street, with no place to call my own, sleeping in dangerous places and wearing the same clothes. I neither have father, mother nor anybody to help me at a time like this.

And I don't know if it's ok to reveal my full identity here including live pictures in order to prove the genuineness of this post. If it's ok, I don't have any problem with that.

Since obviously I am in need of help, so I was thinking if there are any groups, organizations or individuals that can help at a time like this. That's why I'm making use of this forum which I believe there are many enlightened people here.

Dear nairalanders, please help a stranded brother. I have refused to give in to the temptation of suicide. Where can I get help at a time like this?

I dated this lady for few years... doing our courtship we had unprotected sex.
I later relocated to another state because of my studies....that's how the relationship died.

She later got married

After about 13years of not hearing from eachother....one day my phone rang and behold she was the one...she called to tell me a secret...she said her first child is mine and not her husband's.
That doing our courtship she took in, she tried to abort it but it didn't work out for her, she didn't tell me about it because she knew that i was not ready to father a child at that time.

It was at that moment that she met this guy who is now her husband...the guy hasten everything and got married to her...she made him believe that the pregnancy is his own whereas that's was not the true...the boy is 8years old now.
She said her conscience has been disturbing her that's why she opened up to me.

I told her never to let the husband know about it and let the child be the husband's own....let her just forget everything about me being the father of the child so that her marriage won't crumble.
She has a loving husband and she is blessed with three kids aside the boy.


But she made one comment that when the boy reach 22years she will tell him who his real father is....she insisted. But am against it, i told her not to try it because if she end up telling the boy about it there is every possibility that the husband will end up knowing about it and i wonder how he is going to react towards it.

The key to knowing how to deal with a stubborn spouse is to avoid hostility or violence of any kind UNLESS SHE BECOMES PHYSICALLY VIOLENT TOWARDS YOU. Fighting or shouting is never the answer. The important thing is to keep cool so that you would be able to talk or negotiate the issue calmly and reasonably. Remember there is nothing a good talk can't solve

you only blame the married man if he hid his status while dating the single girl, but if the single lady knows and both go on with it, then both are to blame. That's what justice & equity is all about, anything short of that is hypocrisy

No one is justifying the married men who date single ladies. The OP is specifically asking from a womans perspective, not from a mans perspective which is why the question reads "Why do ladies date married men" and not "Why do married men date single ladies".

On foreign sites such as quora, you'd find that respondents must first understand the question which always evident In their replies.

A single lady married man should know that it is wrong for her him to date a married man cheat on his wife. Does it mean she he doesn't even care if her his own husband wife does the same ?

If a lady says no to a man, he won't force her. But this ladies are very greedy
