Instead make we dey complain sey our educational system is a mess we are here praising people whose parents have spent MILLIONS in taking them to another mans country to study. If you think private uni here is expensive, try looking up the tuition of ivy league institutions. These are rich kids in this pic and yes I know some rich Nigerians actually worked hard and honestly earned their money (very very few if I may add) but if we are going to be honest about this, 9 out of 10 times these kids are somehow related to some one in the top tier of Nigerian government either at the federal or state level. Not hating but I have so much more respect for the Nigerian students here who have to grind for their bread and butter but still excel academically. Our students down here aren't the problem, the corrupt system is the problem.


How exactly do this kids empower or impact the Nigerian system? Blacks need to learn to celebrate things that impact their society in general and not some select privileged few who use their money to impact their OWN lives

Jakarta's Christian governor was jailed for two years on Tuesday after being found guilty of committing blasphemy, capping a saga seen as a test of religious tolerance in the world's most populous Muslim-majority nation.
Basuki Tjahaja Purnama was 'convincingly guilty of committing blasphemy and is sentenced to two years in prison', presiding judge Dwiarso Budi Santiarto told the Jakarta, Indonesia, court as Islamic hardliners celebrated outside by shouting 'God is greatest'.
The 50-year-old was hauled into court last year to face trial for allegedly insulting Islam while campaigning for re-election in a case critics said was politically motivated.
The governor, known by his nickname Ahok, had accused his opponents of using a Koranic verse, which suggests Muslims should not choose non-Muslims as leaders, in order to trick people into voting against him.
Purnama, who has been called 'fearless' by political experts, said that he would file an appeal following the sentencing.

There was shock among his supporters outside the court and some wept openly.
Meanwhile, Islamic hardliners outside the court cheered as news of verdict emerged and shouted 'God is greatest'.
Thousands of police were deployed in the capital in case clashes broke out, but there was no immediate sign of any violence after the court's verdict.
Prosecutors had called for a suspended one-year jail sentence on charges of hate speech. The maximum sentence is four years in prison for hate speech and five years for blasphemy.
Hardline Islamist groups had called for the maximum penalty possible over comments by Purnama that they said were insulting to the Islamic holy book, the Koran.
In September last year, in a speech to a group of fisherman during early campaigning for the elections, he accused his opponents of using a Koranic verse to trick supporters into voting against him.
Some interpret the verse as meaning Muslims should not vote for non-Muslim leaders.
The comments were filmed and an incorrectly subtitled video of his comments later went viral.
