Actor Leo Mezie is Dead. He died on Saturday, May 14, after a long battle with kidney disease, Reports.
The actor who had been battling a Kidney disease, had a transplant last week. However, he began to develop complications. Sadly, he lost the battle on Saturday.
His colleague, Chioma Toplis, announced his passing on social media this afternoon, As Sighted By Below:

Unknown gunmen have burnt down the Idemili North Local Government secretariat in Ogidi and a Magistrate Court in the area, Reports.
The Gunmen attacked the government institutions at about 2am today, May 16. The assailants burnt all files, and properties in the secretariat, including the secretariat building and cars.
Confirming the incident to News Crew, the spokesperson of the state police command, Tochukwu Ikenga, said no life was lost in the incident.
“This incident happened at about 2am this morning. We were able to contain the situation. The Secretariat official vehicles were burnt and some other buildings in the secretariat which includes the EEDC and magistrate building were burnt. No life was lost'' he said.
A Member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) identified as Aliyu Muhammed Lawal, has died from a stray bullet during a crossfire between security operatives and bandits along Kaduna-Abuja road.
It was gathered that the bandits were engaged by the security agents while they were trying to cross the highway at Kasarami Village at about 8pm on Friday, May 13.
According to Daily Trust, the deceased who was serving in Abuja was hit on the head while on a Kaduna-bound commercial vehicle.
A top police officer in the state who did not want to be named because he was not authorized to speak, told the publication that about seven bandits were killed during the crossfire.
“The victim was hit by a stray bullet because there was a serious crossfire between the security agencies and the bandits that tried to cross the main road at Kasarami village which is a route they use. But the security men, among them soldiers, at Rijana engaged them killing about seven of them and recovered motorcycles,” he said.
He said the young man was rushed to Saint Gerald Hospital that night but was confirmed dead by doctors.
The Deceased has been buried according to Islamic rites.
One officer and four civilians were killed when a police convoy was ambushed at Idema- Otuabagi Road, Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, on Saturday.
According to a community source, the victims were returning from the burial of a police officer, identified as late ASP Gilbert Sampson, when the unfortunate incident happened.

He said the gunmen were suspected to be kidnappers.
Police spokesman in Bayelsa State, SP Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the incident, said the Commissioner of Police has ordered for a manhunt for the gunmen who perpetrated the dastardly act, while investigation is ongoing to unravel those behind the attack.
He said: “On 14 May, 2022, at about 0745 hours, Suspected gunmen ambushed Policemen serving at Rivers Command, at Idema- Otuabagi Road, Ogbia Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, while returning from burial of a colleague, late ASP Gilbert Sampson, at Imago Kugbo, Rivers State.
“The suspected gunmen opened fire at the vehicle conveying the Police Officers and other civilians. In the process PC Asuo Osuani ‘m’ and Special Constabulary Odeoye Sampson ‘m’, Mr Terry Lucky ‘m’, Jennifer Adejo ‘f’ and Asueroh Tobins ‘f’ were fatally shot and later died. While Inspector Urere Edwin, Rejoice Sampson ‘f’ and Reward Sampson ‘f’ sustained bullets injuries and are responding to treatment,” he said.
