A middle aged man was lynched by an angry mob at the Adeniji Adele area at Dolphin estate for raping a 3 year old girl.
The little girl had come crying into a woman’s shop and pointing in a particular direction.
The perplexed shop owner tried to ask the little girl what was wrong but she couldn’t express herself.
A few minutes later, a man came to the shop from the direction the girl was pointing and tried to take the girl away from the woman. The woman not knowing who the man was tried to know if the man is a relation of the girl.
The man now realizing the woman was unwilling to release the child then decided to run but an alarm was raised. The woman shouted “Ole Ole!” and the man was caught and lynched with the crowd thinking he was a thief.

The man begged and said he wasn’t a thief and that he knew the girl and so the crowd put pressure on the girl to tell them what happened to her.
She told them how the man forcefully penetrated into her in a 3 story building and to the amazement of the crowd, blood was dripping from her private part down to her legs.
The angry crowd then descended on the man again, stripping him of all his clothes and giving him a bigger beating.
It was the police that came to his rescue saving his life.
