Sports / Match Report: Nigeria 4 Vs Ethiopia 0, Ike Uche, Peter Utaka Score Brace by mrinfo(m): 2:56am On Mar 28, 2011
The Super Eagles won back some respect from their fans on Sunday at the Abuja National Stadium when they beat the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia 4-0 with a brace each from Peter Utaka and returnee Ikechukwu Uche. But the first half had ended 1-0 giving fans cause for concern after a bright start.

Nigeria attacked the Ethiopians straight from kick-off; Victor Anichebe out-muscled his marker and laid on a pass for Utaka, who converted it to put the Eagles ahead. That was the fastest goal scored at the National Stadium, Abuja and it took 27 seconds to set the record. After that quick goal, the Eagles continued to attack and it seemed that the Walya Antelopes were in for a roasting,

Make sure you quote sources of information you use from the interviews. In writing a book one can hardly say he didn't lift some ideas from somewhere. That's why books have acknowledgment. So go ahead write and acknowledge those whose primary information you used.
Politics / Is It Important To Have A Career Mentor? by mrinfo(m): 9:44pm On Mar 25, 2011
Who by the way is a career mentor? Career mentorship is a new fad that has perhaps come to stay. It is having somebody especially a more experienced and accomplished person who has had several years in private or public organizations to advise and help shape your career.

What can a Career Mentor Do For You? A good career mentor can do several things for you. He can get you lined up to important job opportunities. He can get you introduced to people that matter. He can also help you with your career choice, A good career mentor will also tell you what is obtainable in the Labour market and help you with relevant career information.

The level of involvement of career mentors differ based on the closeness of relationship between the individual and his career mentor.

However just like there are needs for business mentors career mentors are also useful to help individuals accomplish their vision and potentials in whatever career field they choose.

Sports / Brazilian Clubs To Make $932.9 Million In Three Seasons From Tv Revenue by mrinfo(m): 9:57pm On Mar 11, 2011
Brazil’s top-division soccer clubs increased their revenue from television after Rede TV!, the only bidder in an auction for broadcast rights, agreed to pay 1.55 billion reais ($932.9 million) over the next three seasons.

The amount equals 516.7 million reais for each season, starting in 2012, up from the 460 million reais paid by the Globo channel for the current season. Fabio Koff, president of Clube dos 13, which represents the nation’s biggest teams, released the result in Sao Paulo today. The deal has to be accepted by the 20 teams in the top league.

Brazil’s antitrust agency, known as Cade, ended an exclusive agreement between the teams and TV Globo, country’s No. 1 broadcaster. Rede TV!’s bid was below the 1.3 billion reais a season that Ataide Gil Guerreiro, an executive director at Clube dos 13, predicted in an interview earlier this month.

“Brazilian soccer still can get more value,” Guerreiro said in the pre-auction interview. “We will improve our calendar, to sell more out of Brazil and then surpass the amount raised by some of the world’s major leagues.”

The clubs are still planning to auction Internet, mobile telephone, and pay-television rights to their matches as they seek to boost revenue and reduce debt. The clubs must also retain talent, such as Santos’s 19-year-old winger, Neymar, and midfielder Ganso, 21, to interest fans, player agent Wagner Ribeiro said in telephone interview on March 10 from Barcelona,

AjanleKoko:

red card was not deserved. But it didn't affect the game at all. Arsenal ended the game with 0 shots on goal, as opposed to Barcelona's 12.

It did if only for once. If V. P was on the pitch and got that pass towards the end of the match from Wilshere that Bendtner got he would have scored.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Video: Van Persie's Red Card. Was It Deserved? by mrinfo(m): 12:06am On Mar 09, 2011
Here's a video of Van Persie's action that got him a second yellow and thus a red card during Arsenal's second leg Champions League second round tie with Barcelona.

Was it worth a second yellow? I think he shouldn't have been sent off but the referee had his own ideas of spoiling such a match by unnecessarily reducing one team by a man.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Did Barcelona Deserve To Win? by mrinfo(m): 12:03am On Mar 09, 2011
Let me first state that I am not an Arsenal fan. However that doesn't stop me from saying that tonight's game at Nou Camp was too bad for my liking. Three things make me sick about tonight's Champions League battle between Arsenal and Barcelona.

First, Barcelona are fast becoming referee favourites and I can't understand why they needed the referee's help to beat Arsenal. The ref gave them an advantage by sending Van Persie off. Next he senselessly gave the same Barcelona a penalty. Again he did not punish Barcelona when they had rough tackles on Arsenal players, http://soccerfiesta..com/2011/03/barcelona-did-they-deserve-to-win.html
Jobs/Vacancies / How To Come Among Top Three In Any Interview by mrinfo(m): 11:22pm On Mar 08, 2011
The impression you make in a job interview goes a long way to determine whether you get a job or not. Given that today’s graduates mostly parade certificates they cannot defend interviewers place more emphasis on a candidates performance during job interviews.

Here are some advice on how to ensure you impress your interviewers and come out top in your next job interview;
- Research the Organization, Know Vital Things About Them: Knowledge is your key to doing well at the interviewer. Some questions you will be asked will be about the organization and if you don’t show enough knowledge about the organization and its activities you do not stand a chance of getting employed with them.

- Be Confident & Courteous: Confidence doesn’t mean pride. Be sure of yourself and one way to do that is to prepare well. Think a bit before you answer questions and do not use careless words. You need to come across as someone who thinks before he acts or talks.

- Know the Kind of Questions to Expect and Prepare for Them: In most job interviews you will expect two forms of questions viz Personality questions and Professional questions.

The first, personality questions, are questions targeted at knowing the kind of person you are, how you think and whether you can fit into the organization. The professional questions simply test your knowledge and skills for the job to ascertain your readiness to take on the job.

It is easier to prepare for professional questions as you can research and get updated on skills and knowledge needed for the kind of job you want. The personality questions are more tricky and can vary greatly depending on the interviewer(s).

- Answer Questions Clearly and Briefly: You have at most a couple of minutes to answer any question thrown your way. Make sure you don’t exceed that and annoy your interviewers. It is better to be clear and precise with your answers,

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / La Liga: Too Much Respect For Barcelona by mrinfo(m): 11:19pm On Mar 08, 2011
Sometimes I feel like busting the heads of all the coaches of the 19 teams in La Liga who let their teams get bullied week in week out by Barcelona.

Sure, I love good football but not when the good football becomes a joking matter. Not when the other teams play with fear and trepidation ending up losing non stop to their opponents.

If I were to handle a team in the La Liga I would resign if my team was beaten by Barcelona more than twice. Such shame. They virtually over-ride all other teams and appear super human.

I doubt if Barcelona would do as well in the Premier League. Teams like Stoke City and Bolton will ensure that half of the team stay sidelined with injuries.

I think the other teams in La Liga has got to wake up and not make the whole league boring. No one team should be beating others so regularly. Please. At least for the beauty of football is win today, lose tomorrow.
