Believe it or not I sold my Honda Pilot this year for this very reason. For the past three years the car had been sitting in the compound, chopping comprehensive insurance, vehicle license and road worthiness, while being driven once or twice a year.

The last time I chose to drive it, it started misbehaving. Stopped before we got out of the house. So I sold it. Should have done so years ago.

Obviously that is not my only car. I am presently semi retired. Working with a friend in gbagada.I am sure you know how the road is, with all the construction going on. Why stress myself facing two hours of traffic when I can pay someone and travel in cold ac for 2k5?

If you even try to read between the lines you will realize I am an above average earner with more choices available . Better face your cheap hustle and stop trying to derail this thread
Stress yourself facing traffic when u can pay someone 2500 and enjoy AC.

You pay the person 2500, Uber takes 25% that's abts 625naira, the drivers used let's say about 3liters fuel that's 500naira. He drops you and waits for 1hr no request, he drives down to another location spending about 2-3 liters of fuel to get request. How much is left? That's if he doesn't park wrongly or takes one way?

Guy if you say anything again or anyone replies you again on the forumhuh

Till then!

Driver decides to go offline mode with you due to bad roads to festac is not been fraudulent. If only this rider spewing this crap knows what it takes to keep the car running like izzou pointed out, he would reason with the driver. The probability of getting rides out of festac is 50/50 I stand corrected. The rider should just cancel and order for another ride. Another driver might take the trip. Enough of this back and forth.

The kind of insults one receives daily on this job ehn!
But uve developed a thick skin tho.

I got a request today at agungi, immediately she called she already sounded rude. And then she said her 2 housemates are following me to go pick her children at school and I bring them back. I said okay..

On our way back , this woman called me that can I buy a tuber of yam for her on the way, that she'll reimburse me my money when we come back..

I just jejely handed over 5h to one of the girls and she went to buy yam.
This woman called back and started raking/shouting for me, that she nva sent her houseful, that it's me.

I told her i cant buy yam, I don't know where they sell yams. She dropped the call on me Nd hissed.

After the trip, the woman gave me a 1start just because undid not buy a tuber of yam for her.

I'm just weak
..
I feel u bro, it's part of the "job hazard" . The annoying part is Uber wont care to find out why she rated u 1 star.

Bad choice. Go for Honda Civic, Corrolla, Big for nothing, Matrix. Stay away from passat even for personal use

What other cars are we using here for ehailing? We have heard about dru23, Benz, corolla etc. I feel if we get advice from others that are using other brands or model it will help spice up these car thing, reduce the demand on corolla and reduce the barrier to entry for others that are looking at getting a durable car for a moderate fee.

One of us here uses ford Mondeo, how's the performance?

They are other compact sedan cars with 1.6 liter engine capacity and better fuel economy.

Who has tried Opel Astra saloon car? Vauxhall etc

Am just trying to shake the tables
Volvo s40 is a also good for this buiz

I'm sorry for my tantrums in my last post. All I'm saying is forget we are graduates ( who graduate help) we are in this hustle. Please there are some errands you shouldnt do. Example is the buying condom, I have done deliveries ( food, clothes etc) but not to the extent a rider will call me to go and BUY CONDOM!!! Pls if you must accept the errand it's not a problem is between you and your reason for doing this hustle. To all the drivers out here keep pushing. God bless our hustle.

Stop making mouth
If i meet u what will u do? Beat me? Lol
@bold u make me laugh
What about the okada man u insult on the street everyday, u think it is easy to cough out over 200k to buy a motorcycle? I understand that majority of uber drivers are graduate, but do not expect too much respect because u are a graduate. There are countless number of graduate doing demeaning jobs on site, accompanied with insults on daily basis.

0814591414... pls ask me privately for the last number. I WILL come and meet u anywhere I swear on my brothers grave.

Do not think anyone will respect u because u bought a car of over 1m, most of the students using okada on our campuses can't afford a tyre of bike, but hurl insults on okada riders on daily basis, if u are a graduate i believe u must have spoken to an okada man in a disrespectful manner when u had no kobo.

I have seen driver deliver a book to a library as a trip, the only difference is the book and condom, so a rider telling u to get a condom is not out of place, as long as d object in question is not criminalized, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. It boils down to individual choice. Last i checked it is legal to carry condom about.

Wetin dey your face??
The only issue here is "CONDOM" not the message aspect? I have seen so many riders sending drivers on errand to deliver one package or another, some tell the driver, receiver will pay and was even use to scam some drivers. The only issue here is just d condom
Bro, this is a faceless forum but if u wanna meet me I will DM my digits. Thay been said, I believe you are matured how can u comprehend on this job someone ordered you from bolt/uber to buy Condom? Do you know the ridicule behind that message? Highest she Tip u 1k..is that why u are on the hustle? Can u order a yellow cab man to buy you condom? U think it's easy to cough out more than a million naira for a car (assuming you own the car) the useless girl is on her hustle how could she forget to buy condom on her way to Eko hotel? It's like a uber driver accepting a trip with no fuel for car.

If u see me once again you wont even dare to try that shit with me, but what do I know? Your moniker is rubbish.

P.S I'm not here to trash talk.. I'm just a private chat away for a confrontation.

Lol anyways we are different. I cant imagine if I was the one the rider called and said I should buy condom. I will politely blast her to hell and back. We should give ourselves some respect. No wonder they sometimes look down on drivers. If u see me sef fear no go gree u ask me that stupid errand. Mschewwww
