A friend of mine wedding video was sent to him via flash, unknown to him that the flash has virus.
when he got home to play the video,it wasnt playing.But the videos are still in the flash(the video size still intact).

I told him to tell the guy who edited the video to send it again but he said the guy has already deleted the video from his system..

Please is there any strong antivirus that can erase the virus?
Or are there any other options?

HERE IS WHAT TO DO.
step 1: plug the flash or memory card on to your PC.
Step 2: click on "Computer" or "this PC" locate the drive letter of the flash on your PC. E.g D, E, X , C etc...then note it down
Step 3: search for CMD on your computer, right click and open it as adminstrator
Step 4: type the drive letter of your flash with a colon added .e.g D: or E: etc as the case may be then press enter
Step 5: type this command without the quotation marks "attrib -s -h -r /s /d *. *" and hit Enter. Mind you there are spaces in what you are to type so be careful else it won't run correctly..

You will see the cursor on the CMD blinking..once it's done a new line of text will pop up...it's done, go back to your flash/memory card and see your files again..

The so-called Marketing consultancy firm with the name Lingrand Visionary Global is a scam and upon receiving any aptitude test invite from these charlatans, do well to disregard it and delete it. Proceed at your own risk.

The hoax for a company claims to have a head office in Abuja and a branch office in the centre of Enugu State where they "operate from". Visiting their corporate website they inscribed the address to this mirage of a branch office thus hoodwinking unsuspecting applicants into believing they are genuine.

These criminals harvest data from LinkedIn and put up a job ad claiming to be seeking for qualified candidates to match their needs. Upon applying, you get an invite to an interview in Enugu state which takes place in a cubicle..yes a cubicle instead of the said branch office stated on their website..any inquiry made about the said branch office is met with flimsy excuses because of course they have ulterior motives..

Fast forward to being very "lucky" and given an appointment letter, they tell you that you are going to undergo a probationary period just to suit their evil plans which they will unleash in a short while .they make you work for them and you even surpass the set target since you wanna impress them yet after about a month time, they find a reason to lay you off including everyone who was employed the same time with you..this they do repeatedly..isn't that callous?

Well, to end my long epistle, they may be into some form of consulting but they are a scam..and are not really what they portray themselves to be... they've deviced a means to get cheap labour and lay their victims off without even paying them a single dime hence wasting their time money and energy.. wickedness...

Lol..quite true..but going for camping with a camp gas cylinder doesnt neccesarily mean that using the gas at every time is gonna be outdoors.. You could be camping in a wood cabin which of course will require you to use it within the cabin. It's still domestic use ..camping gas in the sense of portability.. Some peeps even use them as source of heat inside their camping caravans.. The key is vigilance and maintenance..

Bro the fact is that these cylinders themselves seldom explode unless there is excessive heat..the explosive reaction is a result of the gases combusting spontaneously .. it burns with a high explosive force..not the way diesel or lesser inflammables burn..
Concerning the direct burner cylinders u mentioned, these are used Worldwide even in the USA. Of course they werent manufactured in Nigeria, the problem with our country men is poor maintenance culture.. a typical example is this direct burner cylinder, there is a rubber gasket placed at the top inside the cylinder valve which supposed to be replaced upon refilling but people just dont care..that rubber gasket acts as a tight seal preventing the minutest amount of gas leaking away

Its better, but not foolproof..if leakage from the gas hose funnels into your kitchen, filling up everywhere with little or no cross ventilation, any static electricity coming in contact with that, kaboom!!!

For those still arguing if a phone can or cannot cause gas explosions, believe me, you dont wanna find out by yourself. Some like you who thought casual of it are at the great beyond now. You make no sense here.. next time read and comprehend.. let me break it down for you.. concerning the incidence in question, there is no first-hand information pointing to the phone as the causative agent.. anyone can say anything.. but that's not the issue.. the debate is can a phone lead to gas explosion.. the answer is yes which can substantiate that the story is true..

Now to the science of it
Propane or butane aka liquefied petroleum gas or domestic cooking gas as we all know it is gaseos and as such stored in metal tanks (cylinders) at high pressure.

The chemistry here is that since its a fuel, it requires ignition upon which we use the heat from it to cook and all what not.. now igniting the gas from the burner (as you well know) requires a lighter or match stick (at least thats conventional) but it would interest you to know that static electricity such as sparks, even your own body, etc could ignite the gas to burn.. yeah

Now since the gas is at high pressure and is very volatile, you would notice that opening your gas cooker without striking a match stick will leave your kitchen pervaded with gas (if you have a good sense of smell) in a very short while.. that gas fume which has escaped is highly inflamable and if the kitchen admits very little ventilation, any little static electricity can ignite the gas leading to an explosive reaction.. yes explosive.. your phone is an electronic device and if there is a generous amount of gas fume within that environment, the handset (not made to be that way) may malfunction, even overheat and could lead to an explosion.

The problem with domestic gas explosions is that, the cylinders most often than not were leaking, and made it possible to ignite.futhermore, upon leakage, it isnt really everyone that smells up gas when its leaking...propane on its own has no distinctive odour, thats why a chemical is mixed with it as a safety measure to aid detection in case of leakage...
fuel+oxygen+ignition and you get yourself fire..in this case, an explosive one..

To be on the safe side, its best to avoid using your phone when using the gas. EOD
