Education / Re: Hijab: Obey Court Order, Muslims Warn Lagos Schools by mrnigeria(m): 10:03am On Sep 19, 2016
Every school reserves the right to dictate the dress code of its students. There are schools that allow hijab, let them take their kids there. We can't tell a business owner how to run its own business.

For govt schools, they are secular institutions and as such the uniform must be respected.

Muslims should calm down a bit. They all know this anti-hijab thing is a security measure. They really got to calm down.

Again, there are lots of underpopulated Islamic schools. patronise them.

Besides, western education is haram, abi

PassingShot:
You'd think being educated translates to being well informed. Unfortunately the first doesn't guarantee the later.
Anyone who keeps saying we should stop blaming GEJ is being economical with the truth. The truth is GEJ wrecked Nigeria with his handling of the economy. He didn't have to blame anyone before him because NO ONE ELSE had been so clueless, dull and Ineffectual as himself.

If we still have any truly sane man doubting that Nigeria would have been long grounded had GEJ managed to rig himself in, such person needs to be constantly reminded where the Ineffectual Buffoon left us:
1. The IB was already borrowing to pay salaries when crude was selling at $75 per barrel. At $40 per barrel, what miracle will he have done?

2. The paper Economist, who supervised crashing of the economy clearly stated that Nigerians should brace up for tough times ahead the moment crude fell to around $65 per barrel. Does tough times mean merry making times at $40 per barrel?

3. Despite earning unprecedented amounts from crude, the IB couldn't grow our reserves but even embezzled what he met.

4. About 28 of 36 States were owing their workers for up to eight months in some cases and there was already hunger in the land. Why didn't GEJ bail them out? Had Buhari not come to intervene just about three months into his tenure, what would have happened to those workers then?

Recently, the Gele woman who couldn't choose to resign to protect her name, revealed in a well publicized video that GEJ had zero will to save. Where there's shame, she will apologize to Nigerians for wasting our resources in times of abundance.

Nigerians indeed lack capacity for critical thinking. And it's the reason we will continue to be taken for a ride by the looters. We see those who genuinely are working for our betterment as enemies while blindly praising the real enemies as benefactors just because of crumbs of today. This is indeed very shameful!
You have sense.
I'm disappointed by the level of thinking of the average Nigerian.
it is very sad that they would criticise the first govt trying to do the right thing.
Our exports increased this year and is projected to continue that way.
Our agriculture is looking up for the first time in a long time.
The current hardship is inevitable... The GEJ govt could have prevented it if they were more responsible with spending.
I rest my case.

All those in support of GEJs govt should be examined. they are the problem with this country.

you keep dodging the question.

you aren't a true Muslim, you are one of the many misinformed fellows running around disturbing the peace.

I will answer your question, I read my Bible, it is the word of God. But I don't depend on it. my trust is in God, not my bible.
I know it can be confusing to you. what it means is I do not need my bible to save me or to help me do something because God lives in everyone of us.

you have been answered: I don't have any book i "depend" on. I have God.

You can depend on a book sha. especially one full of scribbles.

I won't pretend as if I understand the nomenclature you posted up there. And I won't bother finding out the meaning because your tone is negative and insulting. I don't make it a habit deviating from factual submissions.

One fact is this: What a religion calls Jihad, the law calls genocide. What a religion call 'Praises', the law calls 'disturbance'. Violation of the law to favour religion will always put one on the wrong side of the society and in the direct path of the wrath of the law.

In all the sanctimony and fanatism of diverse religions in the country, there must be a common ground for sanity and peace to reign. The law is that common ground. How you feel about it is the difference between me, you and every other person walking the face of the earth.

Education / Eyewitness Account Of Police Assault On A Lecturer. #SAVEFUNAAB by mrnigeria(m): 3:44am On Aug 21, 2016
This is an eyewitness report.

*Nigeria Police Force*- *a nucleus of bad governance*
Some minutes past 6pm today i was at camp junction coming back from a fuel station then and there i happened to gaze a scene that infused in me so great a bitterness. Salt was added to my injury and i became devastated.
Ogun state CP, Eleweran DPO and whoever gave the order to send this set of outrageous and inhumane police officers to camp has failed in their attempt to restore and maintain peace in the area and may be abetting the peace movement to become otiose.
At the scene, Dr Busari and another Dr(mrs) from colamrud were stopped by this policemen they accused Dr Busari of making unnecessarily signals while driving and he apologized immediately. Then a police officer with a bad hair-cut approached him and asked him of something (a card i think ) he showed it him But the officer replied that the (card) is temporary Dr Busari said he should check the date on it that it's still valid.
The police officer was so obstinate he was asking him naughty questions like
Are u crazy?
You dey mad?
I'll break your head
I go smash this gun of head - believe me, he almost did.
Dr Busari altered no word then i moved closer and said "oga" he looked at me and rubbed his hand down his chest and said "don't worry"
Dr Busari in his own smart and simple way of dressing was taken for a pauper. The police officer asked if he's the owner of the car he said no that he belongs to the other Dr(mrs) from colamrud (alhaja) Then this officer(SSCE should be his highest qualification) started raining insults on him saying
Tyre u no get
Bike you no get
Poor man
Oloshi useless alfa.
Then Dr Busari replied humbly and said " with time i go get" *smiling*
This got the officer angry and he grabbed his beards tightly, threatens to cut it all off with knife then he tried to pull it all off with his hand. Other officers came to his rescue and Dr Busari drove away

My question
If Dr Busari with all his dignity and influence could suffer that much from Nigeria Police officers what would be the fate of we students?

I think the niggas favourite part of her body was her waist. And now that the waist is broken? The story would have been vice versa if the nigga became broke, she probably woulda left his sorry ass. They were in a mutually beneficial relationship, not love.
