Google makes money by advertisement and also Google has a market share of 70% in the search engine, this makes google the chief of search engine, with that power, they can decide to promote only their businesses and get all traffic while your business will not get any traffic, if you are a business man, this is unfair practice.

Google monopoly alone destroys innovators from entering the market.

I understand you perfectly bro.. There are tweaks being done and I know about the existence of anti monopoly law, but the thing is will you say that those tweaks are done outside the confinement of the law.

It's only the society that encourages competition to prevent inflation that comes with monopoly and the likes but no business will want to allow any competition survive. Whatever they have to do legally will be done as long as the resources are available.

Those videos that pop up first are contents with higher engagements and were probably optimized too. Even when optimized, I hardly see any content come up without very high engagement. Content creators choose YouTube over others because there are more benefits.

But My question is... Does their business model go against any of those anti monopoly laws?

Because in business there is no such thing as 'its not fair to competitors'

I know Google has competitors and they know that too. The aim of every business is to kill all competition as they improve their services.. You can't expect to search videos on Google and get links to other websites asides from YouTube on the first page. This alone will make content creators choose YouTube over other platforms..

How i wish Nigeria can implement this type of law, it will be nice.

Google especially has an unfair advantage especially in advertising of their subsidiaries, no other companies can compete with them on search engine.

For example, Google has a subsidiary called YouTube, if a small competitor wants to do similar video sharing as YouTube, that startup wont get traffic at all because once a user type in any keyword relating to video, the search results shows all videos from YouTube on the first page. That is bad and unfair..Google with their search engine kills small businesses.

With Google search engine, Google acts like a very big global monopoly that wont allow small competitor to survive because they want advertising money for only themselves

There is nothing wrong with their strategy.. To keep your business alive you have to implement strategies like this... You can't avoid competition. Or are you socialist?
