Not only MTN, all the GSM Network are stealing from Nigerians; MTN, GLO, Airtel. I don't know about Etisalat though because I don't use their SIM. But they are not acting alone. They can't pull this huge nationwide scam without the conivance of the Ogas at NCC. |
@OP. I think what you should do is kill the ''low class'' person any time you see him/her wearing same type of cloth as yourself. This will ensure you remain the only person wearing it. But the challenge would be your carrying an AK47 or machine gun always. Can you afford it?. |
Just like the Otedola VS Farouk federal scam. This is another scam masterpiece!. It's now clear our leaders don't believe in this country. |
Have you prayed over it?. All you need is a miracle from Jesus and it will be unlaminated!. |
@taharqa. That's it!. Have a nice day bro. |
@Billyonaire. I told you he chosed Ribadu as a mark of authenticity. He is under presure to convince Nigerians that he is serious. I' am not doubting the findings. The findings may be ok but must have to be discredited in order to protect the cabals (those that funded their election and put them in power in the first place). |
@taharqa. It seems you haven't been in Nigeria for long. For your information it's the fuel subsidy protest that gave birth to all these committees and counter committees. |
@Billyonaire. The president is under pressure to set up such a panel. And he chosed Ribadu as a stamp of authenticity. Having said that, the president himself may not be that corrupt but his party, NNPC, and the people around him including ministers. |
Anybody who will read this thread and not know there's some sort of GAME at play don't know Nigeria. Many people in the presidency and NNPC have their hands tied in the subsidy scam. Therefore, the best they can do is plant an Orosanya to discredit the report. Jonathan's administration is begining to appear to me as really very corrupt. |
This report is true only that it could be as high as 90% or more. Beninoise hardly buy petrol at the filling station. Yes, more than 90% of their petrol consumption come from kegs smuggled from Nigeria. And they sell them by the road side in bottles same way we do here when there's fuel scarcity. These road side sellers buy cheap from Nigeria and sell cheaper than filling stations that's why the smuggling continues. |
Until I see Farouk Lawan in jail, I no longer have any faith anything positive will come out of the subsidy probes, panels, commitees and counter committees. There's a lot of dishonesty by the Oil marketers, NNPC, Cabals, Federal government, e.t.c. None of them is reliable! |
White man always finding ways to use Africans. This is nothing short of neo-colonialism. Unfortunately, our leaders are follow-follows. |
One thing that's not right here is no past or serving NNPC official have been indicted. How did the marketers commit these frauds without the conaivance of NNPC officials?. |
All you have to do is; Do what is right. Forget about any heaven. If heaven is a reward nature will provide it to you effortlessly. |
A girl once asked me not to leave her. She said she would be devastated if I leave her. But I was foolish to leave her, that was 2004. Later I realized she truely loved me to pieces. If it was today I would have maried her without second guessing it. Oh! I love you Chika. |
Only God knows what Jonathan and his Oil minister is hiding from journalists |
There's nothing wrong with owning a private jet as long as it comes from legitimate income. Not all are thieves. At least I heard Psquared and pastor Chris have private jets and we know they never stole from Nigeria. I may as well own one in future so let nobody assume private jet owners are thieves. |
This is certainly a fake story. Your father wrote 36 books. And he's looking for money to buy generator??. |
There are some people that needs be killed before this country can move forward. |
I haven't been to church since my pastor went to prison. |
How can somebody say they can't afford a private jet?. Are they the first musician to own a private jet?. Of course, they can afford private jet!. And many people already have private jet here in Nigeria. They don't even have to pay cash-and-carry as we say in Nigeria. It's hired-purchase and it can take them up to 10 years to pay up. |
This is the mentality that breeds corruption and so much suffering in Nigeria. We are wired to believe one who don't have money is poor. Therefore, everybody is ready to do ANYTHING to make money. How about somebody who prefere to live a simple modest life?. |
What would Russia have done if it were Nigerian ship captured in Russian Sea?. Just asking. |
When people were here rejoicing sometime ago about power improvement I told them their joy would be short lived. Because it wasn't the first time electricity supply improved in Nigeria only to get worse thereafter. Again, you must have light 24/7 for one straight year before you begin singing praises. Nigeria government is so corrupt they can use electricity supply to boost their image during election campaigns. |
Never knew Oyo state have such a history. Oyo state could therefore be called the most democratic state in Nigeria!. How did they do it?. I think Nigeria have something to learn about democracy from Oyo state. |
@keni. As you can see anybody who know about Danfo business will never encourage you to buy a bus and give to someone else to drive for you. Once you buy the bus and give out to a driver you have started a business for the driver and not for yourself. He will make sure he buy his own bus off it within 6 months while leaving you with nothing. The experience was very cruel!. |
@emmy9ite. If only you know me you will know I' am not somebody that will embark on any business without due verifications. Lawyers were engaged, witnesses were called, contracts were signed!. Infact, I' am not the kind of person to remind this sort of things. I have run other successful business and I have told you what my experience on transport business is. Also I have since then met with other former Danfo owners and the story is the same. 99% of the time the drivers will ruin your investment. Again, it's not that the busses woun't make money but the drivers will keep you out of the revenue. They have a format for taking money from you when they want and you can't say NO. Example; they may leave the bus at 3rd mainland bridge by 11.30 pm and call you that there's a problem. Of course the only money to fix the bus will be the only money they were supposed to deliver to you for that day. I excuse your ignorance (not suggesting your're a fool), only someone who've passed through this will understand. If you want please go and invest in transport business. |
@emmy9ite. My brother I understand what you mean but obviously you have not passed through this experience. I never said the business is not good. Danfo business is good if you can drive the bus yourself. If you can't drive by yourself forget it otherwise the drivers will make a joke of your investment. Try something else. A word is enough for the wise. |
@post. I think Omonikiba have given you the right advise. And I have been doing that for years myself. The best way to save is buy things in bulk. The only thing I don't agree to is geting a side transport business. Don't ever try it else you will regret it!. Sometime ago I once bought 2 Mitsubishi L300 bus and gave out to 2 drivers. Just to make sure there were no mistakes I gave out one of them on Hired-purchase and the other on daily returns. I don't want to waste your time cause the story is long. None of them performed instead I kepts puting money into the cars until I got fed up and sold the two below cost of one. Again, don't try transport business unless you can drive them by yourself. |
All these points to one thing. Signs of a failed state. |
We Nigerians are not yet ready for any change. Instead of holding the Nigeria police accountable for incompetence people are here misplacing blames on the Aluu community. In a clean country the commissioner of police for River's state would have resigned by now. The police should have prevented the killing, that's their job! |
