Politics › Re: Jonathan Insists On Subsidy Removal by mrrock:
Jonathan is very incompetent and is not fit to rule a nation. He is also highly very corrupt as I' am begining to understand it these days.
Why comparing Nigeria (an OPEC country) to Canada (a non OPEC) country?. Why not compare with Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Iran, Lybia?. These are all OPEC countries like Nigeria and they have subsidy for their citizens right now!.
How are they doing it?. How many foreign refinaries is in Lybia??. Why are they subsidy in all these countries??.
I have concluded Jonathan have no moral to fight corruption because he is too corrupt himself. Jail the cabals and see subsidy isn't the problem. The problem is corruption which have your hands tied on the back.
Politics › Re: Will You Support The Return Of Barth Nnaji As Power Minister... by mrrock: 10:12pm On Nov 15, 2012
I will say yes!. He was the only performing minister in Jonathan's administration. But it's not possible to hold such a post in Nigeria and remain clean. Corruption fought him out.
Politics › Re: Reports From International Organizations About Nigeria: How Factual? by mrrock:
Those of you claiming the U.S is 100 years older than Nigeria therefore the reason they are doing better, I have some questions for you.
1. How come the president of Nigeria earns more than U.S president?.
2. Is it the U.S government that's allocating fat salaries to our presidency, senate, legislatures??.
3. Is it the U.S government that's unable to provide electricity for Nigerians?
4. Is it the U.S that created Boko Haram?.
5. Is it the U.S government that created Niger delta militants?.
6. Is it the U.S government that have refused to build our refineries?.
7. Is it the U.S that is stealing subsidy money from Nigeria?.
8. Is it the U.S that's responsible for rigging elections in Nigeria?.
Name them...................

So many Nigerians are mentally sick just as our leaders. Otherwise, there's no way you would blame the U.S for Nigerias problems.
Nigerias problems were created here in Nigeria by Nigerians. Without accepting this ugly reality and doing something about it we cannot move forward.
Politics › Re: Nigeria 2nd Most Corrupt Nation —gallup Poll by mrrock: 6:54pm On Nov 15, 2012
Can a country be more corrupt than Nigeria?. Any country more corrupt than Nigeria shouldn't be called a country anymore.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Scraps Canada Power Contract In Privatisation Setback by mrrock: 8:39pm On Nov 14, 2012
There's no way this privatisation process would happen without corruption standing on it's way. Corruption is the rock on which Nigeria stands. Recently I started having this feeling Jonathan and his administration have their hands tied in deep corruption.

Abdulsalami, IBB, Tinumbu e.t.c have no history of running an electricity firm. How come they are winning power contracts?. When we have credible and tested firms to choose?.

Anything the Nigeria government provides would always rate worst in the commity of nations.
Politics › Re: Obasanjo Denies Calling For Revolution by mrrock: 3:39pm On Nov 13, 2012

Crime › Re: My Experience With Swindlers by mrrock: 3:11pm On Nov 13, 2012
I often change money there myself but would walk into the bureau de change.
But it's an old trick. The money they gave you at first was complete. Then they will quickly change it. The second they gave you last which you assumed complete wasn't. You wouldn't understand me though.
Politics › Re: Fuel Scarcity May Continue In 2013 - NNPC Official by mrrock: 1:30pm On Nov 13, 2012
As long as Jonathan is serious in fighting the cabals and puting them in jail for subsidy fraud Nigerians are ready to tolerate the scarcity.
Car Talk › Re: Hidden Features You Didn't Know Your Car Had? by mrrock: 1:24pm On Nov 13, 2012

Politics › Re: Financial Crisis Hits Oil Marketers by mrrock: 9:13am On Nov 13, 2012
There's too much corruption everywhere you look. I wish this be done in every other sector.
Business › Re: Businesses You Can Start With Little Or No Money by mrrock: 8:01am On Nov 13, 2012
@vislabraye
You are making a mistake.
You don't need to be a programer to begin making money online.

1. I' am not a programmer but I make $200 and sometimes more daily online. I sell information. I started with one website of less than N18,000 but today I own 8 websites and more coming.

2. Linda Ikeji is a blogger, all she does is write and I' am sure she will be making at least $200 per day from ads. You don't need money to begin blogging. It's free!.

[s]3. Seun Osewa began Nairaland with N30,000 ONLY. It wasn't his money, he borrowed it from her sister. I don't know about now but I believe his revenue while with google ads would be about $250 per day.[/s] lie

4. Facebook and google were started by students who had nothing. They were programers though. But the only thing they had was an idea and a website which cost almost nothing. Facebook and google were started with less than N20,000!!. Believe me!!.
Business › Re: Businesses You Can Start With Little Or No Money by mrrock: 11:52pm On Nov 12, 2012
@pro01
You certainly know something about webpreneurship. The BBC conducted a research recently about the easiest way a beginer can make money fast in our world today. Their findings concluded that whatever the business it must have something to do with the internet. They cited examples like building a hot selling App and puting them on the Apple or Google shop for $1 per download. This could make someone a millionaire overnight....literarily. Most people don't know this.
There's more money on the internet than the street and you don't need a lot of money to begin making real money online.
Politics › Re: Obasanjo: "The Danger Posed By Unemployed Youths Is Real & Potent by mrrock: 10:53pm On Nov 12, 2012
OBJ is right!. The way things are going there would be a revolution in this country at a point. Yes, Nigeria cannot move forward without a REVOLUTION.
Car Talk › Re: Your Experience With Near Death Car Crashes by mrrock: 9:03pm On Nov 12, 2012
Almost all experiences narated here have been caused by over-speeding. The devil will never tell you that you don't need the speed. Speed is addictive.

What you need is safe arrival to your destination. Better late but safe. That's my new moto these days each time I' am embarking on a long journey.

I' am terrified by comments on this thread. Really, there's no hope for this country.
Phone/Internet Market › Re: MTN WOW Bonus. Confirmed Scam! User Beware!! by mrrock: 10:18am On Nov 12, 2012
All the GSM networks in Nigeria are all running scams, MTN, GLO, Airtel. I don't have Etisalat SIM so I can't say about them. They don't do it alone rather they do it in partnership with the Ogas at NCC. This is like the oil marketers stealing subsidy money in conjuction with government officials in the presidency, ministers, NNPC, name them. Talk about corruption.
However, MTN remains the king of scam. I' am still waiting for my Airplane.
Note MTN also own Multichoice DSTV and their company policy is never to give anything for free. Don't be deceived that MTN will give you anything for free!. They don't give anything for free. You will later find out they will take it back one way or the other.
Nairaland General › Re: Love Evergreen Against All Odds..... Even Poverty.. by mrrock: 9:27pm On Nov 11, 2012
@blink182
The post is not about geting rich or poor. But that love still thrive in the face of hardships. And I maintain that's the reality for most Nigerians.
By-the-way, you are not doing better than me economically unless you are stealing money from Nigerian government.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do People Ignore Or Fear The Supernatural? by mrrock: 8:30pm On Nov 11, 2012
@bright007
I believe you don't understand my post but let me ask you.
1. Does science know everything?.

2. That comparison is just to say forces exists you can't see. And I agree there are natural.
Nairaland General › Re: Love Evergreen Against All Odds..... Even Poverty.. by mrrock: 6:57pm On Nov 11, 2012
Comments here confirms me there's something seriously wrong with our society. What's wrong with that picture?. To me nothing is wrong with that picture. That's an every day scene in Nigeria. Don't you know the reality is more than 90% of us live that way?. I' am sure most of you on this forum are also struggling like the subject.
Now since you want to show off, please let me know when you are buying your own private jet. Because that's the latest trend for the richest among us.
So, where do you belong?. To the pictured or the jet class?.
Politics › Re: Stop Visiting War-Torn And Hungry Nigeria – Zimbabwe First Lady Warns Citizens by mrrock: 5:55pm On Nov 11, 2012
They say a prophet is not recognized in his own country. So, yes, madam you're right.
Even Nigerians don't all believe in TB Joshua. Nigerians are also traveling to other countries to seek God. Again, a prophet is not recognized in his own country.

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do People Ignore Or Fear The Supernatural? by mrrock: 3:32pm On Nov 11, 2012
Science acknowledges it does not know everything. There are many unseen and unknown forces. The fact you are able to use a mobile phone should tell you there are unseen forces out there. Science have only discovered few!.
The only thing I don't believe is that supernatural is outside of nature. I strongly believe nothing exists outside of nature whether you can see it or not!.
Politics › Re: Presidency Intensifies Efforts To Discredit Ribadu Report. by mrrock: 11:04am On Nov 11, 2012
The argument that because Jonathan set up the Ribadu committee he musn't be the same person wanting to discredit it is very childish. Haven't past Nigerian presidents been setting up committees over the years and rubishing them?. How many Nigerian politicians are in jail because of recommendations by previous committees?. I mean IBB, Buhari, Abdulsalami, OBJ committeeshuh. To name a few. How many Nigerian politicians are in jail because of corruption today?.
I have come to the conclusion Jonathan is just as corrupt as every other past head of state. The most wicked thing about him is the new trend of puting doubt in the minds of Nigerians when there's a serious need to prosecute the cabals or members of his administration.
Education › Re: 2,000 Fake Teachers Uncovered In Kaduna Public Schools by mrrock: 8:54am On Nov 11, 2012

@logicboy03
it appears you don't understand me. I do not believe in British culture.
Gay marriage is legal over there unlike Nigeria. And if it's legal then it have become part of their culture.
Celebrities › Re: Sir Elton John And His Husband Expecting Second Child by mrrock: 12:28am On Nov 11, 2012
I keep wondering what our forefathers where doing to have allowed poeple so stup1d to teach us their culture. Do you know if this was the colonial era Africans would also have been taught to adopt this form of lifestyle as a people!.
Business › Re: What's The Greatest Challenge You've Encountered As A Rising Entrepreneur? by mrrock: 11:10pm On Nov 10, 2012
The No.1 killer of businesses in Nigeria is the Nigerian government. They do this by providing epileptic electricity supply which also remains the No.1 killer of business in Nigeria. Our government have not provided enabling environment for businesses to thrive. There's no business you can do without needing electricity at some point. And there's no Nigerian entrepreneur that is not being challenged by poor electricity supply.
Those of you who say there are businesses you can run without needing electricity please kindly share.

The universe is too big, there are unseen forces, example; the one that make it possible for you and I to use mobile phones. Science acknowledges it does not know everything. There's nothing that's not possible!.
If you want to find out whether TB Joshua is real you need to go to Synagogue and have an encounter with him.
