If the time PMB used in blaming former leaders is used in problem solving, I don't think there would be problem in Nigeria economy mow. I f all the former leaders performed well, Buhari would not have been voted into power. I think it is time for this administration to sit down and do their job. |
I am not comfortable with this post. The source please? |
What have I to do with pictures? Governance is a serious business. I would be more interested in her answers to Nigeria economic problems. How are we going to encourage farming in the face of desert and fulani herdsmen encroachment?. When will we start meat and rice exportation to other countries other than Chad, Niger and Cameroon?. When will our textile industry regain its lost glory? When will Nigeria overtake Cote d'Ivoire in cocoa exportation and Malaysia in Palm oil? Can we earn 10 billion dollars annually in cassava exportation? These are the issues we should be proud about not taking photos. National Assembly is different from National Theater. |
I support the demand for the continuation of amnesty programme and opening of tha Maritime University. But the statement that nobody can arrest Jonathan is unpatriotic. No man is greater than the state. Meanwhile, why should PMB reopen Haliburton bribe scandal when Jonathan refused to do that? I think it is wrong for anyone to defend corrupt men in Nigeria. Nigerians say no to impunity. |

This man is not serious. You were not voted to pay salaries and give others. You were voted to use your ingenuity to create wealth and make lives better for the indegenes of the state. Stop waiting for the monthly allocations |
Why is the Minister of petroleum quiet? Its time we hear his voice. I thought there was nothing like fuel subsidy |
Nigerians are funny set of human beings. They are worried about America delays in returning money stolen by their leaders while same time praising the same leaders as great heroes. Some of them think that unmasking stolen money is a one week job. |
People comparing the price between Jonathan's era and now forget the exchange rate has jumped over 100% during the period. If you adjust for exchange rate the price set by Jonathan's government, the said price today will be about N280/liter so intact today's price correctly factors in the 50%+ drop in crude prices. I hope this answer the question of all these armchair "economist" who think the are suddenly knowledgeable of global macroeconomic developments.[/quote You are a liar. Govt has not devalued naira at least officially |
Even in the midst of plenty. All is vanity Ecll. 1:1 |
I hope the APC guys would see this. This is not an idea of a clueless one . GEJ was not cluesses afterrall |
donbenedict:If there are motherfuckers, it is Africans who allow sentiments and pride to overide their sense of patriotism and made them to elect people who are not worthy to be district heads to be their national leaders. If a whiteman knows that his friend is not qualified to rule. He will call his friend "Hey buddy, you are good in making shoes, but I don't think I can trust you with the future of my kids" That's it. No sentiments. Will an African do thesame? Tribalism cannot allow us to see the truth and sell it not. |
A facade of developments. Development encompasses both human and infrastructural developments. Otherwise, maintenance of these so called massive constructions will become problematic and with in the first decade, herdsmen will take over the building for cattle grazing. |
donbenedict:Bow down to you because you are black? Black or white, man should bow down to no one except God. |
Yes I think I remember when some journalists from Lagos were asking why we should save when we had many things that could be done with money. Tha Nation and Punch newspapers were saying that Okonjo Iweala was saving money in switz Bank when we could invest such money in Agriculture. Oshiomole also said something similar to that. |
No prob. Let them continue. One day monkey go go market , e no go return |
Proudlyngwa:Read that post once again. The second postulation is not rubbish. Even if Boko Haram is being encapsulated, the writer believes that Shekau still has the option of hiding away in Libyan desert. Why the public retirement? I just believed, just as some Nigerian military chiefs stated, Shekau wanted to divert attention away from himself as he is being gradually decimated. |
Politicians no go drink blood again? I hope this is true. |
Its not strange. It has been an abominable culture of diverting workers salary in all ( I mean ALL ) parastatals and para- militaries in Nigeria. No wonder almost all civil and public servants that retired at director levels refuse to leave public or political offices, jumping from one political party to the other. Some would fight their way to get traditional titles or become traditional rulers. |
Again politicians with smooth tongue. He promised to create jobs and alleviate poverty. But he failed to explain how he can do that. With dwindling monthly federal allocation, aspirants must give us figures and statistics of what they want to do and the plausible effective method to achieve their targets |
Sometimes I ask myself Are Nigerians different species of human race? A group that refuse to learn from history. This is the same episode that took place in Western Nigeria region during the first republic like half a century ago; one the crisis that culminated in civil war. Its happening in this modern time after much education, development and wider travels and technological advances. Who can proffer an acceptable pragmatic solutions to this perennial problem? Time will tell |
Johnrake69:There is no point of weeping for Nigeria. Nigeria is not worth weeping for. 98% of Nigerians see the nation from thesame prism as the great poster you qouted. Many pretend as they care for the future of Nigeria while others say it verbatim. Only 2% are genuine lovers of the nation. That is why the nation developes with a snail speed. |
WhoRUDeceiving:Thanks for not blaming me.From what you have just stated, what would you have done, if you were the senate president? You wanted the senate president to ban generators, fix naira or create state police? So senate presidents do not need the support of the stakeholders to do all these? Even you, a great patriot, how many bills have you sponsored in the national assembly? Or you don"t know that individuals can sponsor bills? When many people were shouting and agitating for state police, are you saying that you do not know the set of people that kicked against it. Senate Presidents are like chief judges; they only act according to the bills presented before them. Except when they are in oversight functions |
Hmmmm one of most peaceful election in nigeria, election is not do or die, welcome back Mark, this man should try and do something meaningful for his people , I don't know what he's coming back to do in the senate after all this year's with nothing No Idoma dead or alive has done to Idomas what David Mark has done for them. He may not have built hospital or carry out road projects because he does not have such powers which solely lies with the executives, but he has helped Idoma people to get employment from civil, public and political appointments. |
WhoRUDeceiving:The buck lies with the executives to initiate and execute projects. The legislature has no such functions. Any blame on infrastructural decay goes back to the executives. By the way which senator has built university, hospital or airport for their constituency. Leave Mark alone. He is as good as average Nigerian politician PDP or APC. Tinubu's wife inclusive |
olaboy33:People of your type are bad losers. How many of senators in Nigeria have represented their zones five times at a stretch? Though, many of us would have loved Onjeh to win, but give honour to whom it is due. CONGRATS MARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Forgive me for campaigning against you. YOU won with all the forces against you, both from the presidency and the state government being in opposition's control. Senator Mark for senate president after Saraki is jailed. |
Only 3 students got four credits in English and Maths in mock exams? In the whole state? Unbelievable. |
People lie like children with no shame. The whole of Nigeria and Ghana combined does not export $5 billion agricultural produce. States with irrigation ,and decades of practice do not and then one state that did not do this last year or 2 years ago will wake up one morning and export $5 billion Ugu. Who is it that is eating so much Ugu in the EU ?It must be the Syrian refugees If every woman man child and goat in Anambra has no other job but Ugu will they produce $5 billion dollar worth ? Why can't people put their brains in a forward gear for once? Why always in reverse? $5 billion That is about the cost of 1 billion chickens or 10 million IPhones . OVERNIGHT!!! You will nee 1 Plane 365 days a year carrying $14million dollars or 4 billion naira worth of Ugu EVERY DAY !! People should lie with some intelligence please[/quote Learn to keep quiet or ask questions about what you do not understand. $5 billion is the worth of the deal that is if the producers are capable of achieving that. In practice, they can even produce as little as $1M. It is like Nigeria oil quota of 2.5M barrels per day approved by OPEC. Nigeria may produce below the quota but they are not allowed to exceed it. |
