This guy in the video is from Edo State and a movie actor. He has apologised for this video, saying it was a joke taken too far. He said they made the video, after the day cast, while relaxing with other crew members. Dailypost.ng should have made proper investigation before publishing this story. That is a very erroneous analysis. Atiku has all faced Northern presidential candidates. He stands a good chance to become Northern presidential candidate this time. The Northern Muslim vote will be shared btw Atiku,Tinubu and Kwankwanso. So, no one can rightly say Labour Party has killed PDP.

Yes, ASUU Nationwide went on strike because of 2009 agreement they had with Federal Govt. ASUU Anambra State partipated in the Strike. It's was only Peter Obi as Governor of Anambra State that had a lasting solution to the problems. It's history that after call-off of the Strike. ASUU Anambra State chapter never participated in any Strike action called by the ASUU national body. That's what true leadership can bring to table. True leadership does not guarantee lack of problems, but it guarantees providing lasting solutions to every problem that comes up.

which competence? If competence is considered, is Tinubu more competetent than Osinbanjo? Is Shettima more competent than Boss Mustapha, the SGF? I believe Tinubu was made deaf by the gods, to rescue Nigeria from Buhari Pro-Max experience. Imagine Nigeria where Tinubu as President is in London hospital for treatment, and Remi, his wife, Sheyi, his son, and MC Oluomo, his ADC form the new cabals. Tinubu Muslim Muslim ticket will deprive him of south west christian votes and North Christian votes...which is making him having second thoughts on who to pick as a substantive Vice President.
Atiku is good to go with his choice of Okowa(Delta Igbo) as Deputy, he as killed two birds with a stone he will get his block votes from south South and get good percentage from south west and south east.
Obi has to look for a strong Northern candidate in order to make in road in the North.

There is something you guys are yet to realise. Igbos do not vote a candidate based on tribe. They will not come out to vote when they believe you are not a good candidate. It makes no difference whether you are Igbo or non-Igbo. Okowa will not get 5% of votes in SE, because they see him in the same category like Rochas Okorocha, Orji Kalu and other Igbo politicians. But Igbo people will come out to vote Peter Obi because they see him as a good candidate that has some positive things to bring to table. Igbos voted Obasanjo ahead of Ojukwu during the 1999 presidential election. And you think they will vote Okowa who they have not seen on TV advocating positive change to the present dysfunctional govt?

As a Yoruba guy who has spent over 25years in the North. I would say Peter Obi has the best chance of winning the 2023 elections if he plays it well. Atiku's biggest roadblock is his tribe, especially among Christians in the north who have suffered tremendously under Buhari a Fulani nepotistic president. Secondly, Tinubu running a Muslim Muslim ticket would cause a large number of Christians in the North and SW to find solace in Obi. Obi should focus on converting the votes of Christians in the North who I believe is over 40% of the population of the total north. The fact there are no large northern Christian tribes like the Hausa/Fulani does not mean they are a minority as assumed.

This is the most rational and objective statement I have read in Nairaland in most recent time. Recently most posters are either in a hurry to post their message, or they take time to write a post displaying emotions and opionated analyses. Kudos to Mr Poster. You are one of the few rational and realistic individuals left in Nairaland.

I was a bit upset when I heard that Obi travelled to Egypt, instead of Ekiti. However, I was comforted when I heard about Ekiti Governorship candidate supporting APC candidate. That's a good strategy. A good fighter picks his fight. Do not go into fight when it's obvious you are not going to win. Obi would have demarketed himself if he campaign for a man you are sure will get less that 10% of vote cast. Many analysts will attribute the gubernatorial candidate poor showing to Obi's presence, and consequently saying Ekiti people has already rejected Obi, by rejecting his choice candidate.

How can someone reasonable person support his oppressors? Tinubu looted Lagos state treasury and is using a looted fund to buy electorates for his selfish ambition. Same Youths whose future was looted are praising the looter.

There is only one lesson to learn on Tinubu victory. Unfortunately it's a negative one. The one with money controls everything in a Blackman world. There is no human sector Obi did not improve on. First he cut down government waste which is like contributing to 40% of Nigeria problems. Second, he turned Anambra State from 24th in education performance in Nigera to best education performance in Nigeria. How did he do it? He bought 30,000 units of computers (brand new) from HP, and distributed to all secondary schools in Anambra State. He gave out his personal phone number to Senoir prefects of all secondary schools in Anambra to get in touch with him any time they have problems. These initiatives paid off and students were able to study in a conducive environment, with lunch provided.
Obi paid all elderly people in Anambra 5000naira every month for 8years of his tenure.
Peter Obi implemented al Millennium Development Goals of World Health Organization.
Peter Obi built the best road network in the whole Nigeria in Anambra State.
Peter Obi paid salaries, pensions and gratuities of all workers in Anambra State.
Peter Obi paid all contractors in Anambra, not owing anyone any kobo.
Obi established factories like SABMiller that provided thousands of jobs for Anambra indigenous.
Peter Obi collaborated with individual business people for small scale business enterprises.

Point of correction, this is politics, it's not tribal war. Which region is united? All politicians are looking for where they will butter their bread, not how to fix Nigeria. Peter cannot win, not because people won't vote for him, but because Northerners will rig him out. Ask yourself what they did to Atiku in 2019. Even war-ravaged Borno was recorded has having more voter's turn-out than peaceful Lagos. In 2023 election, no Independent observer will have the courage to travel to Sokoto, Kebbi,Zamfara, Yobe,Borno, Kaduna and Katsina for election monitoring. You will be shocked by the number of votes that will come out of these states where bandits hold sway. Thereby making a mockery of the whole election process. That is why Northerners boast that they are deciders of election outcome in Nigeria. Senator Lawan knows it. Atiku Abubakar knows it too. Without total restructuring and digital overhaul of INEC, election in Nigeria is a scam.

Anyone out of the nine presidential candidates can perform better than Buhari. But truth be told, Nigeria retrogression has got to the endpoint where further retrogression will lead to explosion. The only hope for Nigeria is to restructure, otherwise, no candidate will be able to salvage Nigeria.

Twist it whichever way you want, landlocked simply means not being able to directly access the sea or oceans.

If being able to access the sea through rivers makes a territory not landlocked, then no state in Nigeria, or any country in the world is landlocked.

Igboland, like all interior states can only lay claim to being a maritime state in the context of Nigeria, and if the federating regions were assumed autonomous, Igboland would suffer a crippling economic strangulation for its historical failure to annex the Niger Delta states.

And this, maybe, the SS states know, that's why they've always resisted all ploys and plots of the Igbo Biafrans to incorporate them in a state that only makes meaning to the Biafrans and would consign the ND maritime states to slavery.

Igboland is not landlocked. Oyigbo is Igboland ceded to Rivers state in 1967 to punish Biafrans. That is why Nyesom Nwike tried to intimidate them out of Biafra agitation

All thanks to IPOB and some bigots. Sometimes last year when Buhari visited Maiduguri he was booed. He was so unpopular that once you start saying anything good about him the next thing you will hear is insult.
Things have however changed in the last few months, even intellectuals who were in the forefront of criticising him don't do that in the North. I asked a public commentator why he stopped his criticism and his answer is "He can't join unpatriotic Nigerians to bring down a country that his father fought for and Nigeria has given him alot"

Northerners are known for supporting people with low intellect. Check History, popular figures in the Northern Nigeria are quite unpopular around the world. North is good at supporting nepotic leaders.
