With the way Buhari government is running Nigeria economy, PDP may not need campaign to return to power in 2019

Buhari's economic failure is making PDP's presidential candidacy a hot cake. That is the reason for power tussle for the control of PDP machinery. Politicians know that if Nigeria economic situation continues like this, Whoever emerges as PDP presidential candidate does not need to campaign to become president.

It seems that you are concerned about this economic problems but you do not seem to understand how banks work. Banks get their funds through 3 major sources ; government patronage, foreign and local investors and customers deposits. Government suddenly withdrew all their monies from the banks and foreign investors withdrew their investments due to govt control of forex. Banks are left with depositors funds snd they want to hold on that. Presently, they are lacking enough funds to go into long term projects. Some state governments are also owing some banks. Can you see how harsh govt economic policies affect all the socioeconomic sectors of a nation? Some handout graduates are accusing me of lack of comprehension.

The bankers committee has been in operation for over a decade. Why do you think they are taking these decisions now?. Do you know why Sanusi could not implement cashless economy? How then could you reduce daily maximum withdrawal from 500,000 naira to 10,000 knowing that our economy is cash based. If someone want to sell a bag of ugu leaf, you pay him with check? Or ugu sellers will get POS machine. For those talking about ATM machine, how much is daily maximum withdrawal from ATM? Can ATM pay 1 Million naira? At present, someone will queue for one hour in ATM just to withdraw 50000 naira. All the bankers want is to reduce great outflow of cash from the banks. Period.
