True word. I don't need source to appreciate personal opinion based on logical reasoning and good evidence-based analysis. |
Looooool |
bappahman:Liar From which state of the south is Tajudeen UMAR from? Meanwhile, you said GEJ was clueless and you keep on comparing your CHANGE govt with it. When will you initiate good projects like GEJ did? |
FriendChoice:I wonder what the intent of OP is in spreading lies. Now Tajudeen Umar is a southerner? |
OP get your fact correct. Deziani is never GMD of NNPC. She was the Min. of Petroleum while a Kaduna man Andrew Yakubu was the NNPC GMD. Stop spreading lies. |
The only credible evidence that Boko Haram have been defeated is arresting Shekau dead or alive and releasing the 200 Chibok girls. Any claim of defeat of Boko Haram without the two is a cock and bull story |
olatunjithomas:Oil money made them lazy just as free oil money made Nigerian politicians corrupt. Where there is money, there are crooks and where there is oil there are lazy men. |
Ratello:The ruling does not exonerate the accused of being culpable of the forgery. It is saying that the AGF is not above the law and should not be ignorant of the earlier ruling on the matter, thereby abusing court processes. |
I will keep on screaming ' No man born of woman will do well in governance with the present socio-political structure in Nigeria'. We need a structure that encourages hard work and healthy competition. That is how strong institutions are built. Monthly allocations from Federal Government encourage laziness and population boom instead of economic growth. Ize- Iyamu or whoever is voted will still go the way of Oshiomole, Prof. Osunbor or other governors who go about commissioning bore holes and school blocks. In a saner clime, it is only projects that generate wealth that are commissioned instead of those that provide basic needs. |
SeverusSnape:What about the fifth columnists who will give expert opinion on why it is not good to negotiate with the militants? Some of them are here in Nairaland. Nigeria is full of idealists. We are lacking pragmatists in the government. |
Remembered for spending $16 billion in generating 0MW of electricity or the only President whose daughter can communicate with through open letters. |
Professor Osibanjo expected too many miracles from Goodluck Jonathan and Pastor Osibanjo promised to perform so many miracles to Nigeria.Pastor Osibanjo come and perform the miracles you promised Nigerians. |
With the present political structure of Nigeria that encourages laziness? Except Nigeria is restructured to encourage accountability and healthy competition, no economist whether Harvard trained or UNILAG professor will turn around Nigeria Economy. This is not about political affiliations, but about making Nigeria a conducive place for everyone to live, raise their children and enjoy life. |
Lagos was not PDP state likewise Borno state. Why did he not go to those states where PDP did not destroy their healthcare systems. When we say PDP destroyed this and that, it will be better to point at the institutions that were working efficiently before PDP took over. I know that PDP failed to build but I don't believe they destroyed any institution. |
Inasmuch as I do not like the Osuji of a man, but can we deny the truth about what he said? The most fortunate set of people today are white men. 70% of white ladies want to marry a whiteman. 95% of black ladies want to marry a whiteman. Unfortunately 30% of whitemen are gays while 70% are bisexual. Only 10% will even agree to marry. 99% of black ladies want to have ponytail or long hairs like whites while faking their accent to speak like whites. Where is the love for Africa? Look at South Africans killing even their neighbors Zimbabweans living in South Africa. It is easier for a whiteman to get a visa to African countries than an African to get a visa to other African countries. How many times have Libyans deported Americans living in Libya? But they have deported Africans on uncountable times. I stopped attending social gatherings inluding churches because most times either we are copying Americans or we are imitating Arabians. If that is not the case, we will start showcasing our individual achievements. There is no deep reflection on how to achieve and maintain a stable and love inspired society. |
With the way Buhari government is running Nigeria economy, PDP may not need campaign to return to power in 2019 |
Buhari's economic failure is making PDP's presidential candidacy a hot cake. That is the reason for power tussle for the control of PDP machinery. Politicians know that if Nigeria economic situation continues like this, Whoever emerges as PDP presidential candidate does not need to campaign to become president. |
I am a Nigerian and he is my president. What I'm bothered about is that he delivers good governance. I dont give a damn about some old rumpled paper certificate.. Meanwhile you are the one that needs help, you are the one who obviously needs some medications. I am very fine the way I am. Thanks [/quote You are trying to convince yourself that you are right. But you don't know you are still putting your ignorance in the open. You want good governance from an uneducated president. Why is constitution interested in the educational qualifications of a presidential candidate if all that matters is good governance. ?Maybe, PDP or GEJ government included it to disqualify your hero, PMB because you guys must blame someone for your failures |
globatop:When they praise PMB, you are happy that PMB is internationally recognized. When they castigate him, you tell them to mind their business. If you know what GLOBALIZATION means, you would not post this childish comment. |
When the goodness of a ruler can be detected by the only his supporters , then, the ruler is doomed for destruction. Around the sane world, Buhari is regarded as a failure, yet zombie supporters are still clapping for him. |
Ok |
obailala:Stop posting thes disgusting comments. Are you cleverer than 13 SANs and 10 senoir lawyers asking for indefinite adjournment to the case? They know the legal, and moral implications of this matter better than you. Or do you want to join the legal team?. Sometimes, cases are non zero sums. Stop seeing Buhari issues as black and white. We are all humans with our individual weaknesses. I bet you, no judge will disqualify Buhari or cancel his election based on these allegations but the fact is that PMB has no certificate which is a dent to his personality outlook but has no effect on his political career. |
Which lesson have we learnt? London is now the resting destination for Nigerians |
That is the hall mark of APC; Kill that which is already sick, then call a pastor for resurrection prayers |
I still insist that APC's bad (or no clear) economic policy is destroying Nigeria economy. When J P Morgan delisted Nigeria, we warned them of the likely outcome of such action to Nigeria economy. The first effect was loss of confidence in Nigeria economy by prospective investors. The second is lack of foreign currencies. The third is inflation and the fourth is loss of job opportunities. Today, tell me the economic sector doing well in Nigeria? Yet some hand out graduates will tell you that government is doing well. Its quite unfortunate. |
The government rescued one and boko haram kidnaps two. Are we winning the war? |
That is what many Nigeria youths do not understand. 'Hate' is a strong negative word that can not be tolerated in western world. When you say ' I hate something ', it means you will be happy to harm or cause the thing to be harmed. Open another facebook and learn your lesson. |
This people are not serious. You should agitate for true federalism which will liberate you totally from Hausa/ Fulani domination. Otherwise, grazing reserve is an already closed matter in Plateau State. The case is even worse now APC is the ruling party. Your leaders; Gowon, Dogoyaro, Useni, Dariye and Mantu are Fulani stooges remember. |
Source please before I comment |
when you withdraw up to N1 million from ATM and the money stack in a bag, bros i tell you, your life is in danger before getting to your final destination, now country is HARD, BOYS ARE NOT SMILLING. [/quoteDo you mind them? ATM that one can queue for more than one hour before one could withdraw 50000. Armed gangs would have stationed their members at every corner before one finishes transaction. |
I know Buhari has not performed up to expectations and as a matter of fact, I have flogged the APC on countless topics, but this move by banks is a no-no! Instead of banks to start getting edgy because of FX scarcity and the state of the economy, they should start getting more innovative. What are those things that can be done to reduce the rate of withdrawals? How can they corner the BDC business from the Abokis they have relied on for so long? How can they utilize the readily available workforce in a productive way to improve the customer base? These are the vital questions they need to ask themselves. . . One of the issues of the Nigerian business environment is lack of innovation. The same banks are too scared to give out loans without collateral, thus limiting the amount of investments they have in the people and their own profit. Instead of running around trying to reduce the rate at which people withdrawal, let them try to increase the rate at which people deposit. Nobody ever won a fight by dodging punches, you win by throwing stronger ones.[/quote It seems that you are concerned about this economic problems but you do not seem to understand how banks work. Banks get their funds through 3 major sources ; government patronage, foreign and local investors and customers deposits. Government suddenly withdrew all their monies from the banks and foreign investors withdrew their investments due to govt control of forex. Banks are left with depositors funds snd they want to hold on that. Presently, they are lacking enough funds to go into long term projects. Some state governments are also owing some banks. Can you see how harsh govt economic policies affect all the socioeconomic sectors of a nation? Some handout graduates are accusing me of lack of comprehension. |
Your level of comprehension is too low to be taken seriously. Read it again, then read it again and again. Then, relax and read it for the last time[/quote The bankers committee has been in operation for over a decade. Why do you think they are taking these decisions now?. Do you know why Sanusi could not implement cashless economy? Opposition then from Lagos was vocal that Nigeria economy has not sophisticated technology to handle that. As at that time, a dollar was exchanging for 184 naira. How then could you reduce daily maximum withdrawal from 500,000 naira to 10,000 knowing that our economy is cash based. If someone want to sell a bag of ugu leaf, you pay him with check? Or ugu sellers will get POS machine. For those talking about ATM machine, how much is daily maximum withdrawal from ATM? Can ATM pay 1 Million naira? At present, someone will queue for one hour in ATM just to withdraw 50000 naira. All the bankers want is to reduce great outflow of cash from the banks. Period. |
) removed and inserted into Buhari's skull. Buhari is still operating on version 2.1 analogue brain.
