Goldie A dumb arse just compared beating a grown woman to a child. 80% of these manbitches will avoid fighting a man, but will quickly imitate what they have seen their mothers/aunts/sisters/grandmothers/cousins/friends endured. You have called it and it is evident. Another dumb arse manbitch will create a thread announcing that he beat his grandmother over some groundnuts. ![]() |
mr sirdam:Dumb arse that is where YOU ARE WRONG. I don't need to destroy properties to get my point across nor will I let a nigga get away with putting his hands on me. If I don't put my hands on you, you don't put your hands on me. Simple. He got the right chick. Trust. ![]() |

Guilt isn't necessarily a bad thing and it shows that you have a conscience. Trust me, eating and dancing while pissed isn't a good feeling nor memory. They need to have a good talk and make sure they are on the same page before going out "getting loose". The wife needs reassurance more than a good sweat. OP asked us to be realistic and I am being realistically honest with him. He can buy all the gifts in the world and take her to all the great places, she will still need reassurance and to vent. |
Reality, he is trying to get in your arse. Run! |
I look at Mr. Cork with a special look when I am taking a good shet. ![]() |
She is still married. Remember karma is a nassy biatch. What goes around comes around. Enter at your OWN RISK. ![]() |
People remember it is not the fact that he forgot his wife's birthday, but the fact that he forgot something that is IMPORTANT TO HIS WIFE. Women are more likely to stress the importance of special dates than men because we are naturally romantic and sentimental. I don't think his wife should dwell on it too long, but give her some time to get over it. I don't think he should overdo things by buying extra gifts and taking her out to various places because that is guilt driven. However, he need to be apologetic and have a good talk. She will get over it and forgive you at her own time (hopefully less than a month). |
It's important, but at this moment, that's not the issue. Even if you dated for 2 months, there's no excuse for forgetting my birthday if i really mean anything to you. . .
I agree brotha. ![]() |
How long they dated and where they met is inconsequential at this moment. They were happy with each other and got married. This aint no common bf/gf relationship, this is something serious. It shows a lack of value for his wife. . . Bro, what if it was "her?"
Well Bro, how long they have dated is important because if you married someone that you don't know could explain why someone will forget a birthday. To me dating is the time one should get to know each other and remember the important dates. I know some people will say that birthdays isn't a big deal and it doesn't matter what your culture is. Birthdays of your children/spouses/mates Date of your wedding Date of your first meet Date of your graduation from college Date of your loved ones' funerals Those are important dates to remember out of memory not necessary celebration. |
Goldieluks:I don't give a Bleep, I have been called worse. ![]() |
(eating buffalo wings with blue cheese ranch) Take the shirt off men! ![]() |
If it was just a stranger, big deal. This is your wife and you forgot her birthday? Did you guys have an arranged marriage? How long did you guys date before marriage? It doesn't matter how busy you were, you made a decision to get married so therefore you should maintain everything and remember the most important days. I am sure you remember your birthday and made damn sure everyone remember it as well. Humans can be selfish sometimes, but when you are married, it is no longer just about you. |

Discuss it with her your concerns. We can't help you. Maybe Nairaland Organization will contribute. You can find them on the General section of Nairaland. Good luck! |

Different strokes for different folks. Let the men have what they want, they have to suffer the consequences. ![]() |
The right woman will appreciate his outter and inner beauty. He needs to focus on healing and forgiveness so he can truly embrace his Queen. ![]() |
