jay bee:I was vomiting off Furry Az's statement. I had to vomit. Who would I be getting kondo from in London, Mr Jaybee? |
MzDarkSkin:Girl, I was not going to sit up here and argue statistic with SOMEBODY that clearly does not know anything about African Americans and one fool thought AA means double AA batteries rather than African Americans. He called me WHITE. I tried to tell them that African Americans are not THE MAJORITY ON WELFARE and for some strange reasons they assumed ROBOTS work for the government. There are more WHITES AND Africans, ,not African Americans on welfare and food stamp programs. The huge proportionate of them are SINGLE WHITE WOMEN with children and nearly half of the children are by product of AFRICAN AND AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN. I stopped reading when I got to the part where Hispanic was a RACE. I was like this is not the same dude that called me GHETTO AND ILLITERATE? If you go to South America, you will people DARKER THAN WELSEY SNIPES IN somberos eating some tacos and coconut juice. For some strange reason, the dude assumed that a few Africans with student visas will be hire over African Americans. I guess they don't hear what been going on in the bathrooms where the white people are still classifying ALL COLORED people african booty scratchers or slave monkeys. It is interesting to see that some of them assumed that black people are the one that lives in ghettos, sell drugs, have children out of wedlock, and failing schools. The same group of oppressees putting the oppressors in a higher pedestal and then turn to seek God for favors. Unbelievable. |
Hmmph! I am going to delay your baby shower invitation, Sir! ![]() |
Why am I booking a plane ticket to London with a can of whoop arse? |
vomiting profusely |
(pulling out measuring tape, still pulling, still pulling, and still pulling) Nawl, we won't be going to court at all. ![]() |
Why do I have a sudden urge to chop of kondo? |
jay bee:You keep it up, you will not be invited to the baby shower! ![]() |

What about men crying over a good heavenly feeling? |
I thinking couples should have open relationships. It bring spice into the bedroom. Women should do it often. |
livedit:He always blowing his chest out like he scaring somebody. I done told him he need to sit down somewhere. I wrote on Twitter page that I wasn't staying nowhere but USA. My family in Nigeria cussed me out saying that over their dead fish dinner that the children will stay in Nigeria and I am coming with them. I responded back and said I wouldn't care if they built a white house and a lincoln memorial over in Nigeria. I am not moving there. |
Disclaimer: This could be silly, but I want to know why this is a big deal. A co-worker came to work crying because her fiance won't marry her because she decided to keep her maiden name. The fiance told her that she have disgraced his family and that she is no longer a wife prospect. They have been dating for two years and engaged for six months. She went to the family gathering to find out that she is no longer welcome and never to return. Now, I find that highly sickening that a man wouldn't marry a woman that he claim is her soul mate because she won't change her name. What is it with the name change? Why is it so important that the woman must change her last name? What if she want to honor her father name by keeping the maiden name? Is that such an issue? Why is IT such a big deal for a woman to change her last name?! |
Hello Livedit. Some people are doing spouse swap and are not even knowing it. When you are dealing with someone 's spouses you are swapping spouses. In other words, you are taking that spouse position and in some culture it a disrespect. There are television shows that support spouse swapping as a way to teach each other that the grass isn't always green on the other side. I don't condone it. |
Sibe007:Okay. They twist my hands, I make no promises. |
jennykadry:Really? You sure it not character and personality? |
Sibe007:My husband is Nigerian-American and I have stated multiple times that there are GOOD NIGERIANS and BAD NIGERIANS. I do not have anything against the country itself but SOME OF THE MOFOS in it. They want to hash out what they felt about America so tooth for a tooth. The original poster asked Why do Non-nigerian women go "gaga" over Nigerian men? and I responded there is nothing special about Nigerian men. I have also included that women falls in love with the MAN, not his culture. So again, where is the tarnishing and Nigerian bashing that they have accused me of? |
Ladies do a few waterworks. It works like a charm! Come to think of it, (muttering some tears) Be right back! |
lagbaja20:I suggest you view profiles and read threads more often. Her husband is Nigerian. |
Yawns. Where do yall find these Nigerians from? Seriously! ![]() |
livedit:Girl, you made me laugh when you said that. I was laughing and crying. My husband thought somebody said something to me on the phone. He was ready to blow his chest out. Over my big, ashy, and juicy nyansh going back to his home country! Shiiiiiid! I hear you though and if it works for you sister girl by all means don't pay me no mind. I don't give HUMANS that much power over me and I am not the "jump how high" person. By all means whatever works for those who do. I ain't mad atcha! |
samir101ng:I got your point. I was referring to the Nigerian/African environment. |
Since you asked so nicely, I will digress for right now. They twist my hands, I can't make a promise. ![]() |
samir101ng:I guess it a crime for a man to move into a woman's house. Oh no! I wouldn't want to be accomplice to that. ![]() |
Hello Livedit. I do agree with you that the man is the head of your household and that all he is. The bible speaks about a married couple agreeing TOGETHER on any subject that concerns them and not a man deciding for the couple then that will defeat the point of partnership. You said in your previous thread that married couples should seek the face of God first. If the man makes the final decision and can tell his wife the ways to go, what the point of seeking God first? Now let me bring it back down a notch, Hypothetically, your husband tell you that you are to cover your body completely when you leave the house, you are to have ten children, your immediate family is to only visit during holidays, you must only work around nuns, you are only to do certain things, and I can go on and on. He is the man of God and he reads his bible. You will obey him in all those commands? Remember God didn't make man and woman to be beneath each other but as partners. |
Mygoldie, Shhhh. Please let him assumed AA means double AA batteries. I have on some white scrubs does that count? ![]() |
Err, wtf? How would I even prove my citizenship? Or more importantly why would I need to prove citizenship to YOU? Anyway, lots of posters here are dual citizens, isn't a big deal. WTF? I am a full-blooded Yoruba man, both of my parents are Ekiti. We just immigrated to the US when I was little kid and became (naturalized) citizens there. You do realize that it is possible to acquire American citizenship w/o being born there, right? Or did you fail out the mandatory history/civics courses in middle and high school but your teacher kicked you up a level to get rid of you? ![]() And I have no beef with all AA women, or AA males. Me having a problem with you doesn't mean I dislike anyone else. As I said earlier, my current boo is AA. A good number of my girlfriends have been AA. But they have their heads on straight and aren't batsh1t insane like you. Finally, even if your crazy hypothesis that the only way I could be a US citizen is because my daddy married an AA woman. . . well, in most African cultures, ethnicity is patrilineal. So even if my mother were AA, I'd consider myself primarily Yoruba, not AA. And thus I'd still be calling you out on our lies and bullsh1t. Err, wtf? I'm in my father's village right now still on Christmas break. Ain't no white man oppressing us here. Our oba is not white. Our senators and governor is not white. Look, just because the white/hispanic/asian man is kicking your backside in the US doesn't mean the white/hispanic/asian man is rubbishing us here ![]() With that said, some of Nigeria's problems are to varying degrees due to foreign influence. But I feel fairly confident that they'll be solved, at least in my region of naija.
I never said your daddy married an AA woman for USA citizenship, but thanks for telling the truth. You all got a real smart Nigerian representing Naija! It okay dawg the first step overcoming crack addiction is accepting the fact that you have a problem. When the distributors told you not to sample your own shit, they meant it. ![]() |
sunch:Apparently dumb arse assumed AA stands for DOUBLE AA batteries. Yes, I am white and you owe me exactly $20,000 USD for cyber cafe time. Pay up bitch! |
I disagree with you, Livedit when you said "that just the way". The bible speaks about the man being the head of the household and he does not have a final say. The Holy Father, The Son, and the Holy Ghost have the final say. When you put everything BEFORE GOD then you are not honoring the LIVING WORD. If YOU chooses to follow your husband regardless of how you feel that your choice. "The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice." (Proverbs 12:15) If you have a house before marriage and he has an apartment before marriage, a wise man will not buy another house for a house is already bought and paid for. REGARDLESS whom the owner of the house was. |
