Thank you! Holu26: University of lethbridge in alberta offer HRM and admission for January entry is currently on. For more info, check www.uleth.ca |
Thank you so much Missbon! I will surely count on you guys from time to time to see me through. # missbon: Then it's better u go for HR..don't be deceived by all those nursing success stories..just cos it worked out for the ones u hear about doesn't mean it worked out for everyone.going for HR will make ur app less complicated. As for the agent Part, they do not guarantee visa, Infact peeps have used agent before and ended up on this thread for guidance so just choose what works for u best. And don't forget to send ur statement of purpose to peeps here to help u check before submitting. |
Thank you! Haustraliah: use this link,it may be helpful. |
someone said trying to get admission/trv to Canada is a full time job. Now I know why they said that! lol. E no easy oo. I have a 2.2 so i'm looking for schools that offer human resource management diploma. So far I can only see University of Winnipeg and Seneca. Can anyone recommend affordable schools who also offer this course? I will really appreciate this! Thank you in advance! |
Thanks for your replies Haustraliah and Missbon! Its either human resource management or nursing....seems I will have a better chance of getting a visa if I go for the former..i chose nursing because nurses seem to have better prospects in Canada...but I might be wrong. It seems most people on this thread did the whole process themselves. Someone told me its better to use an agent..i always apply for visas myself and so far i've been to Uk(have a 5 year visa) and US on visits. But is it really better to use an agent? And also..at my age 31 will I be allowed to take the course as a second degree? |
Hello everyone! I just went through most of this thread..and I really need some honest opinion/answers. I'm a 31year old housewife with a child(13month old). I'd like to move to Canada..and I'm seriously thinking of taking a nursing course. I graduated from University in 2006 with a 2.2. I studied Accounting. I worked for a while before going into trading. Although I did register my business name. But nursing is totally a career change..and I dont even know if it'll be possible to get admission...i can either do the two year or four year course. Has anyone done this before and at this age? What are my chances? Please I'll appreciate honest opinions and advice! Thank you in advance! |
Are you the direct agent? And is this still available? |
Still available? |
A quick question people. Found an hospital and also found a doctor I would like to use. But unfortunately I cant talk directly to the doctor until I become a patient at the hospital. This does not bother me as I intend to travel soon. My question is will they demand a letter from the doctor/hospital at the point of entry? Thank you! |
Congratulations blendy!! They will be a source of joy to you and to their generation! This is awesome newsss! Thank God oooooooo! |
All mamas in the house I have a question ooo. Pikinmama where are you? One of the doctors i've been seeing for antenatal mentioned something about them advising CS to deliver ivf babies. The only reason he gave me when i countered him was that since the baby was 'extra precious' and CS is a safe method of delivery..thats why they advice it. I"ve never given CS a second thought before. Please whats your take on this? |
Hello again!,his count was pretty high...but i cant remember the exact number now...but like i said they were all non motile. I didnt take time off work before the procedure but i was on bed rest for two weeks after the transfer. Transfer was two days after egg retrieval. I'm having a single baby ooo....not triplets. Though I wouldnt have minded. If you have any other questions i'll be glad to asnwer! omonikiba: Thanks @Abibyy and MrsM. MrsM, have read through some of your post on your to learn a little from your experience, what was his count? Did you take some time off work to rest before the procedure and after? How many days after ER did ET take place? |
Hello Omonikiba,i'll say the success rate of ICSI is very high as i'm a testimony. My hubby had zero motility. None of his sperm was even moving around,so we did ivf/icsi at st ives and i'm 16weeks pregnant now. It increases the chance cos the sperm is directly inserted into the egg with a needle.I'll say go for it with serious prayers...cos really its God that gives babies. And i wish you goodluck and Gods blessings! Hopee i've been helpful. omonikiba: Hello Mothers of glorious generation. I have posted here before but now I think I need an information from you here. |
hello deaquella! Thanks for your info! But i have some other questions. How easy was the hotel stay and did you have anybody with you to help you? My major problem is being alone for the birth as this will be my first child. Also which hotel did you stay in and how much did it cost? Thank you!deaquellota: Hello UKSA2013 |
Hello house...is it possible for someone who has not travelled anywhere else before to get a US visit visa? I'm thinking of applying for my mum,but she hasnt been anywhere before. And also does anyone know anyone who got a visit visa on a virgin passport? Thanks in advance |

Thank you so much for your reply pikinmama! My mind just relaxed as i saw your post because i must admit that i had my doubts! You're right. I always go to the doctor with loads of jotted down questions and he always answers them! You dont know what this post has done for me....all i can say is thank you! I know its God that gives children...but it'll be helpful to have a doctor who knows what hes doing! Thank you so much. Now i really feel like asking you a million questions! But i just found your eversmile posts and i plan to read every word! Thank you so so much. |
Hello everyone! Ivf is starting at the end of the month as this is when I get my period( we decided to use my natural cycle). Doc said i should come to the clinic a day before AF. He hasnt given me any drugs or anything like that...and i've been reading about drugs and injections. Is this normal? |
Where in abule egba? |
Hello all! I need a big shop in ojodu berger axis. Preferably somewhere visible from the road. Anyone with any information should please contact me. Thank you! |
Amen! We'll carry our babies soon. Which clinic are you using? |
Hello Britee! Yes i"m in the same boat. Been ttc for 4 years now. Motility issues. We finally decided to go for IVF/icsi. We're using St ives in Ikeja. SOrry about your first IVF not working out! I've learnt sometimes it takes more than one try. How old are you and DH? I'm 29 and hes 34. |
osiyemia: Thanks,Also had ivf done at stives ikeja and after d transfer was bleeding after 3days very scary,So taking my time to look for a good clinic,so did you get positive result at georgies? Sorry to botherHello Osiyemia, how was your experience at st ives? Thats the hospital we're using now...its my first time trying IVF. |
pslm23 i"m so sorry you're going through this! YOu've been such an inspiration to me. The Devil is a liar! I agree with the poster who says you should look into TESE(Testicular Sperm Extraction). Hopefully it will work for you! Dont worry. You're not barren. And you will surely carry your kids one day soon by Gods grace! I'm just starting this IVF journey....we're using St Ives Hospital in Ikeja. Hopefully we'll do the IVF/ICSI by October. Has anyone used this hospital before? |
Hello everyone! I've been a silent reader for a little while now...and your stories really inspire me! I pray everyone gets there well deserved bfps soon IJN! This is my first post in this forum, and i want to start with a question. DH's test result said 'Motility-dead 100%'. Has anyone else experienced this? And what kind of treatments did you go through? I would really appreciate responses from you all. Thank you! |
. Also..about SOA...I heard theres a way to 'arrange' this as someone can help you boost ur account for a fee. ..if anyone has any link abeg send me an email too ooo. Thank you in advance!
