Thank you so much Missbon! I will surely count on you guys from time to time to see me through. #
missbon: Then it's better u go for HR..don't be deceived by all those nursing success stories..just cos it worked out for the ones u hear about doesn't mean it worked out for everyone.going for HR will make ur app less complicated. As for the agent Part, they do not guarantee visa, Infact peeps have used agent before and ended up on this thread for guidance so just choose what works for u best. And don't forget to send ur statement of purpose to peeps here to help u check before submitting.
All the best

someone said trying to get admission/trv to Canada is a full time job. Now I know why they said that! lol. E no easy oo. I have a 2.2 so i'm looking for schools that offer human resource management diploma. So far I can only see University of Winnipeg and Seneca. Can anyone recommend affordable schools who also offer this course? I will really appreciate this! Thank you in advance!
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 5 by MrsM: 10:34pm On Jul 10, 2014
Thanks for your replies Haustraliah and Missbon! Its either human resource management or nursing....seems I will have a better chance of getting a visa if I go for the former..i chose nursing because nurses seem to have better prospects in Canada...but I might be wrong. It seems most people on this thread did the whole process themselves. Someone told me its better to use an agent..i always apply for visas myself and so far i've been to Uk(have a 5 year visa) and US on visits. But is it really better to use an agent? And also..at my age 31 will I be allowed to take the course as a second degree?
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 5 by MrsM: 9:38pm On Jul 10, 2014
Hello everyone! I just went through most of this thread..and I really need some honest opinion/answers. I'm a 31year old housewife with a child(13month old). I'd like to move to Canada..and I'm seriously thinking of taking a nursing course. I graduated from University in 2006 with a 2.2. I studied Accounting. I worked for a while before going into trading. Although I did register my business name. But nursing is totally a career change..and I dont even know if it'll be possible to get admission...i can either do the two year or four year course. Has anyone done this before and at this age? What are my chances? Please I'll appreciate honest opinions and advice! Thank you in advance!

A quick question people. Found an hospital and also found a doctor I would like to use. But unfortunately I cant talk directly to the doctor until I become a patient at the hospital. This does not bother me as I intend to travel soon. My question is will they demand a letter from the doctor/hospital at the point of entry? Thank you!

All mamas in the house I have a question ooo. Pikinmama where are you? One of the doctors i've been seeing for antenatal mentioned something about them advising CS to deliver ivf babies. The only reason he gave me when i countered him was that since the baby was 'extra precious' and CS is a safe method of delivery..thats why they advice it. I"ve never given CS a second thought before. Please whats your take on this?
Health / Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by MrsM: 8:58pm On Jan 22, 2013
Hello again!,his count was pretty high...but i cant remember the exact number now...but like i said they were all non motile. I didnt take time off work before the procedure but i was on bed rest for two weeks after the transfer. Transfer was two days after egg retrieval. I'm having a single baby ooo....not triplets. Though I wouldnt have minded. smiley If you have any other questions i'll be glad to asnwer!
omonikiba: Thanks @Abibyy and MrsM. MrsM, have read through some of your post on your to learn a little from your experience, what was his count? Did you take some time off work to rest before the procedure and after? How many days after ER did ET take place?

Congrats on your bfp, I wish you the rest 22-24 weeks a healthy stay.are you having triplet?
Health / Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by MrsM: 6:26am On Jan 19, 2013
Hello Omonikiba,i'll say the success rate of ICSI is very high as i'm a testimony. My hubby had zero motility. None of his sperm was even moving around,so we did ivf/icsi at st ives and i'm 16weeks pregnant now. It increases the chance cos the sperm is directly inserted into the egg with a needle.I'll say go for it with serious prayers...cos really its God that gives babies. And i wish you goodluck and Gods blessings! Hopee i've been helpful.

omonikiba: Hello Mothers of glorious generation. I have posted here before but now I think I need an information from you here.

Please what is the success rate of icsi? Doc said my hubby fluid is too low for ivf(less than a million after using drugs, we still have insignificant improvement) and advised we do icsi, pls what is the success rate of this assisted method? Wouldn't want to keep wasting some thousands on drugs aand yet no result.

Pls send your view. Thanks.

hello deaquella! Thanks for your info! But i have some other questions. How easy was the hotel stay and did you have anybody with you to help you? My major problem is being alone for the birth sad as this will be my first child. Also which hotel did you stay in and how much did it cost? Thank you!

deaquellota: Hello UKSA2013

1) I enterred the US at 37 weeks. I could not afford to stay too long and other places I called would not accept me after 5 months.
2) I enterred the US through NYC but i was told that going through houston is faster. At the time I did not know :-(
3) I did not have any problem but I did pay for my medical services ahead of time. The people at the clinic said that this procure is legal but the reason that they sometimes give you problems for delivery is because they might suspect you will not pay. So I decided to pay ahead of time so I would be able to prove that i would not leave the country without paying (this is why they they hassle some people). The clinic sent me proof of my payment.
4) The birth certificate took less than 5 weeks and the passport took another 2 weeks. This is another reason why I left at 37 weeks and this clinic was best for me.
5) in total i stay a little less than seven weeks. The service was very good for me because they already focus on international patients and understood me and made me feel comfortable. Although the majority of the patients were from Mexico, the doctor spoke English and were very friendly. The cost was the least expensive for the procedure and hotel.

I was very fearfull at the beginning but i after coming back everything went well. I am very thankfull that i was able to get all the information from this site. I will go back to the same clinic for my next baby.

pslm23 i"m so sorry you're going through this! YOu've been such an inspiration to me. The Devil is a liar! I agree with the poster who says you should look into TESE(Testicular Sperm Extraction). Hopefully it will work for you! Dont worry. You're not barren. And you will surely carry your kids one day soon by Gods grace!

I'm just starting this IVF journey....we're using St Ives Hospital in Ikeja. Hopefully we'll do the IVF/ICSI by October. Has anyone used this hospital before?

This is my first post in this forum, and i want to start with a question. DH's test result said 'Motility-dead 100%'. Has anyone else experienced this? And what kind of treatments did you go through? I would really appreciate responses from you all. Thank you!
