striktlymi: Very funny!Gen don spoil |
rationalmind: And that was just what I originally said. I never said I had an explanation to what happened. I only said the incidence made me more skeptical about issues. I reasoned it might have been a coincidence whilst also not ruling out the possibility of it not being a coincidence.the brain is MORE active during sleep. nevertheless, it is not a question of your brain playing baba ijebu. it just so happens that you were fully tuned into that situation and your mind coincidentally got the score right. no biggie. you dream everyday bro. everybody does. you forget 70% of it within 10mins of waking up and most of the time the dreams are fragments and make no complete sense. inevitably, it will happen that one out of the thousands of your dreams will manifest in reality. quick question: Have you ever dreamt of somebody you don't know? |
Alfa Seltzer: Too many cooks ... ![]() striktlymi: NATURE OF PRE-WORK TASK FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE:light no de and my battery don de die ooo! ![]() |
plaetton: I have, and believe me, mass Hysteria is real and scientific.this is what I expected Ranchoddas to think about but then...its easier to shout GOD!!! |
Ranchhoddas: there's nothing similar.maybe it's in the church u attendedok then. I leave you here... |
Ranchhoddas: yea...why?have you ever seen mob action? Do you think there's something similar about those 2 scenarios and church 'holy spirit' sessions? Think about it before you answer... |
striktlymi: Thanks!you must put your name there o! This time there's no dodging ![]() |
Ranchhoddas: this is a CHEAP attempt at explaining what u cannot explain. There is probably an explaination but the truth is that you don't have it.have you ever watched sports in a fully packed stadium? |
Ranchhoddas: there is no need.and you also have a need to disbelieve the extraordinaryon the contrary, I do not have a need to disbelieve. In fact the need to believe in a higher power is something we inherited from our ancestors. Now though, I need concrete evidence to believe and sadly there's no evidence for the supernatural. All what we have seen so far are charlatans... In fact, I don't believe in anything. Facts don't need to believed, only accepted. Belief requires no evidence...extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Get that. |
texanomaly: My I inquire as to why you are 'charged up' and why you haven't eaten in 18 hours?hehehehe. Sometimes work is boring, sometimes work is exciting ![]() |
Ranchhoddas: it's me against my mentors today. are u telling me that no SINGLE miracle is verifiable today? Haba...have you seen or heard of any? |
texanomaly: Hello Mr Troll. How are you today?hungry but charged up. Haven't eaten for almost 18hrs now... ![]() |
Ranchhoddas: what are the odds of guessing 57 that night, if we factor in the fact that he dreams every night, the odds will increase exponentially.so it can't just be a guessthere you have it! The need to believe in the supernatural. We can only try, you have to do it yourself... |
texanomaly: Hmmmm... |
@rational mind, do you know how many dreams you have each night? Do you know that you forget more than 70% of them within 10 minutes of your waking up? What makes you think that your brain guessing out a score whose odd is about 1 in 10 has something to do with the supernatural? Really man? @the rest, many pastors have been found to be fake so it is safe to assume without concrete scientific evidence that the other 'miracles' are make believe. If I may ask, do you personally know anybody that was physically deforrmed and was later magically healed? |
Alfa Seltzer: Add Obadiah and yourself, then we can start. 5 are enough.yes I agree with this. |
We should do everything here, in the open. |
Er...do we need 15 members of panel? |
Logicboy03: I also wonder.or Chibuebem aka Joshthefirst from using his own brain! ![]() |
@number 5, I think I'll shoot my teammates first if I find them distasteful ![]() |
Logicboy03: Oh....now you know how it feels.Lol. Sometimes you wonder what they are scared of ![]() |
zomoears: D way singles r into this marriage topic nw en...it's beginning to sound like life stops n marriage starts! I mean, marriage is part n parcel of life o! Just that u live with someone else, become less selfish, more patient n strategic! To be honest, its the selfish part that's really diFficult. For example, for the past 2 weeks I've been travelling around without having to explain myself to anybody, sleeping wherever I want etc and having to explain myself at every turn though... The main point of the OP though is to find out if what I'm thinking is actually true, whether young couples can go months without having the Urge or if they actually have the urge but for some reason do not phuck their spouse for one reason or the other. In the movie I referenced for example, they both had the Urge both couldn't say or act it out. On the other hand, the couple I talked with, the man specifically said that he had not had the urge. I was quite surprised sha cos they were a young couple...it got me wondering. ![]() |
tpia@:as usual you manage to miss the point... |
Joshthefirst: lolyou want to cry again abi? ![]() |
Gaggi: Going 5 mnths is abnormal except on health grounds. Normal happy couple can sometimes go 2 weeks without it due to work and stress.ok thanks. I'm waiting for more contributions from other married couples... This marriage thing no easy o! ![]() |
![]() Naptu2 should be part of vote counting... I want to be part of the panel/planning committee. |
GeneralShepherd: A belief or lack of it thereof will not change Nigeria.I'm not advocating for the abolishment of religion, just total separation from state. That is one of the problems of Nigeria.... |
So @gaggi, you don't go like 5 months without? #honest question. I'm not saying you have to grab her at every turn but then going weeks or even months? Common! |
There's something off with this narrative... You didn't specify what made Seuns business to fail. I don't think any belief or lack thereof will make or mar any business except in cases where it is the religious connections that help or hinder(as the case may be) progress, as is the case with Nigeria. Be that as it may, I think the strategy for now should be to get more people to question their beliefs, especially the youths. We need to gather more numbers so that in the next, say 20 years we will have enough sceptics and irreligious people that will be able to influence politics and governance; make nigeria a truly secular state in terms of its laws and operation. There is no hope for our current crop of leaders so our priority should be for the youths and younger generation... The priority now should be education, proper all round education. The next generation should have the ability to think properly and make rational decisions irrespective of their (un)belief... It will be a long walk, probably out living us all but wherever we are, we should at least make effort to dispel the notion that atheists are evil people who can do no good. As for me, my specific discipline and skill set have made me somewhat indispensable in the Nigerian public health sector irrespective of my unbelief. I've had 2 immediate bosses who know I'm irreligious and it had had no negative impact on our work relationship although I'm careful around co-workers and patients... Be professional, have integrity and try not to compromise on your values and when people eventually find out that you don't go to church or mosque, it will come as a shock and your respect will double... ![]() |
Gaggi: I was once so active i could do it three times every single day. Now i see my wife in the shower every morning and i go throway face. Wait till u get there.excuse sir... No offence, is your wife above 45? I'm assuming she is still beautiful in your eyes ![]() |
Soraya-Carvalho:only Yahweh does that. He's omnipotent remember? ![]() Isaiah 45:7 |
So I was seeing this couple about 2 months ago in my place of work... They brought a complaint about the breastfeeding wife... after some evaluations she was diagnosed of PID(never mind, the real gist is coming) and as I was prescribing and giving advice, I casually mentioned to the man that they have to lay off the Sex for the duration of her treatment(about a week) and the man promptly responded that its not a problem that they've not Done The Deed for more than 5 months now ) so I chalked it up to their over religious fervour and promptly forgot about it...fast forward to about 3 days ago, I was watching this movie by Chris Rock(I think I love my wife) and the whole movie revolved around how lack of sex was putting a strain on their marriage and how it starts gradually etc etcSo my question is... Does it really happen frequently in marriages? I mean young couples(by this I mean the woman being less than 45) just quitting sex for no apparent reason? I'm a young and very active( ) bachelor and I just can't imagine myself being married and not phucking my wife regularly if we are both healthy and able. I mean how busy can I get? Abi e no go de sweet again? Pls advice ![]() |
