Chibuebem: you see, you do not know God. He is almighty, the creator, he is not bound by the fundamental laws of the universe. He is the CREATOR of the universe. He can manifest anywhere as he pleases. I'd reverence him if I were you. I love telling people about this awesome God you see. I know him, and boy...I don't know where to start sometimes. You don't know what you're missing troll. Just worshipping God is a priviledge that beats being isolated from him for all eternity. You really are hopeless when it comes to proper rational discourse. . .And the answer to your question wey i use my last brain matter formulate nko? |
Chibuebem: lolz. You could go check the bible, or you can wait till you die and meet God. (Which could be any moment from now btw) You could squeeze in a question or two on judgement day.mcheew! So the mouth wey you just make now na make i die first? ![]() check record ko record checker ni. |
tobechi20: Why do i feel that caller is logicboyTah! Im mind no reach!! |
Chibuebem: he is everywhere; within, outside, everywhere. Now answer my questionyour answer: The observable universe has no known boundaries. I use observable because scientists are aware that there may exists parts of the universe that is not observable and may never be observable in the infinite future. This is because what we can observe as of now are actually light rays from the distant past of stars and galaxies and since the universe is currently expanding, then it is reasonable to expect that the parts of the universe not currently observable will not be visible infinitely because their light rays will never reach the cosmological horizon which is about 46-47 billion light years away. . . As for its properties, all the observable universe is made of matter. Now can you pls tell me what relevance this question has to the topic at hand? Btw, do you realise that if God exists within this universe then he is bound by spacetime and as such cannot be said to be eternal or the First Cause? ![]() |
Chibuebem: Edit: you can go and check my record with God.pls where can i do that? Help a brother in need. ![]() |
Image123: Ask your parents, or are they not adults? What has my parents got to do with this? Do you know who they are before running your mouth? |
Chibuebem: should I answer the question the third time?No offense but your answer is not clear. I don't see how your question is relevant to this discussion but i'll answer it to the best of my knowledge but first make your answer clear. Is he WITHIN, OUTSIDE or BOTH WITHIN AND OUTSIDE the universe? I'm afraid just saying everywhere is not going to cut it this time. . . |
Chibuebem: God is everywhere. He fills all things in all. Since you didn't see that in my previous post.what the heck is everywhere? Everywhere within or outside the universe? WITHIN OR OUTSIDE? Or is he both within and outside? ![]() |
Pls my post was hidden in this thread www.nairaland.com/1458868 it was on the second page. Why was it hidden and can you pls release it? |
texanomaly: smh...be nice...he is a good guy.Nah! He's just a little kid trying to be relevant. He needs to learn how to express himself properly first. . . ![]() |
joel lala: embarass me again u say..haha..am waiting for you to embarass me right nw..you asked for proof and i showed you..oya o am waiting to be embarassed by you and this time the use of not posting a link aint going to help you.I asked for most compelling proof and the best you could come up with was a vague narrative of someone who through his history on NL is known to be highly fretful and superstitious? Someone who even refuses to state what his oh so eye opening experience was and even states that the christian god does not appeal to him! This is what you tout as compelling evidence for the existence of Yahweh and you even feel smug enough to wave it in my face? I'm truly disappointed ![]() |
texanomaly: Oh...sorry I thought you were angry about something.Actually he was trying to seek attention. I wonder why he thinks whats he's doing here is so special and novel that he needs to be PM'ed. |
Uyi Iredia: SMH. Your brain's a mush.Sadly, you are known for incoherent nonsense. I really don't care for attention seeking brats. . . |
italo: You can justify or condemn what you dont understand? Did you understand my post at all?Let me spell it out. . . You are a believer, you read the bible, then you come across a passage that looks suspect. . . You try to justify it, but still it doesn't make sense but because you have already believed in your heart that every word there is true and infallible, you switch off your common sense and tell yourself that maybe you need a higher dose of holy spirit to understand it. . . You then ask a Man of God, he explains it in a convoluted way that leaves you more confused but you can't question him so you just swallow it all and tell yourself that you just have to believe and not question too much in order not to offend the Holy Spirit. . . Fast forward to NL and you come across atheists who put you to task about those passages you couldn't make sense of. What do you do? You tell them that they must believe first in order to understand it. ![]() but we insist, since you understand it why not explain it to us, you say. . . The bible is not a logical book, its a spiritual book. Lol. Confused mofo's ![]() |
aManFromMars: How come no one noticed LB aka Mr Zacchaeus was on his way to church when he heard the radio conversation?Cool down bros, its for 'business' purposes ![]() |
Uyi Iredia: @ Mr Troll: Rubbish. Anybody can be agnostic about anything, even Christianity. Many atheists, and me, criticize agnostic atheists because in effect they are atgeists but pretend otherwise. I stated earlier on this forum on the eye-opening talk with my younger bro. He stated he wasn't sure about there being God but believed he will know when he dies. Now he's a self-described Christian. These are things atheists pick up on. Instead of decieving yourself, simply come to terms that you are an atheist but agnostic about it. Heck, I was once agnostic about my Christianity and my deism. ![]() What exactly have you said? Is it that you just like seeing yourself type? You crave attention like a petulant little girl. What the heck is "anybody can be agnostic about anything"? Is this not the religious section? Are we not talking about the knowledge of the existence of god? What exactly is the rubbish? Care to point it out? |
plaetton: Old boy, na wa o.Christian Tenacity Award! ![]() |
texanomaly: Ok...no slap...this timeok ![]() punny nko? |
What did the subsequent callers say after Mr Exodus dropped the call? |
texanomaly: Ok...I think I know what this means. ![]() ![]() |
texanomaly: @ Mr Troll ![]() soooo where's the punny? ![]() |
Plaetton oh! Abeg come close this ya thread. My belle wan burst ![]() |
aManFromMars: Yeah.lol. Its also important to realise that so far no evidence exists and so be careful of being drawn back into the cesspool of religious hogwash. Random: I mean look at that heaven thread, people saying that what they'll be doing in heaven is singing eternal songs for God!!!? As in. . . Worship! That god sha has a really huge inferiority complex. Maybe he was bored of being alone at the beginning when he was living at 'Eternity' and decided to create Heaven and filled it with Angels to run errands and play music for him. Later he got bored with them and decided to create humans but instead of putting them directly in heaven like the angels, he decided to create somewhere else first:EARTH!!! and put him there in order to give him 'freewill' to decide whether he will like to come join the angels in singing endless worship songs or maybe join Satan in HELL!!!(Wait! When did he create hell? . . .never mind, mysteriousness! )As for the other planets and stars and solar system and galaxies etc. . . Er. . . Maybe they were debris from creating earth 6000 yrs ago ![]() Summary: why are we here again? |
aManFromMars: By this, you take Eternity to be a timeless place where God exists? I just need you to sort this out before I proceed with further questions..You're wasting your time. . . Quote me when you finally realise it. |
@Tex, This quote by Carl Sagan sums it up pretty well. . . "An atheist is someone who is certain that God does not exist, someone who has compelling evidence against the existence of God. I know of no such compelling evidence. Because God can be relegated to remote times and places and to ultimate causes, we would have to know a great deal more about the universe than we do now to be sure that no such God exists. To be certain of the existence of God and to be certain of the nonexistence of God seem to me to be the confident extremes in a subject so riddled with doubt and uncertainty as to inspire very little confidence indeed" @Musky, remember when i told you that atheism is the ultimate bore? |
Romanticboy1: Lol! ![]() |
noblefada: Well it left for you to decide, guess you've never seen the bible from this perspectives and if I've not even scratched the bottom, that why I advise you leave the bible for believers.smh. I give up!!! ![]() |
Ishilove: Yelz. Wacha gonna do 'bout it?well. . .seems like you need to reread the OP. Ponder seriously about the visual aid below it ![]() |
texanomaly: Now that...I find interesting. Are you saying there is not enough proof either way, so you are holding out for it, which ever way it falls?Yes to your first question but i'm not holding out for anything. I doubt we can find such evidence in my life time. I don't kid myself about one utopian afterlife anywhere. . . |
Ishilove: Atheists need love tooHuh? Are atheists another specie of humans? |
texanomaly: @Mr Trollpunny can be found anywhere ![]() Interesting thread. I did not automatically think atheists were satanists. I met a satanist face to face when I was at BYU. He was a friend. I was shocked to learn this from him. A friend from church became agnostic. I think that is different than atheist. Although I'm not completely sure. There is much I still don't know or understand about any of these beliefs. Maybe someone can explain it to me. Uyi has explained some to me before.Agnostics believe that one cannot state categorically whether god does or does not exist. As i like to put it, man as of now lack the tools of proving the or disproving the existence of god. Atheists on the other hand state categorically that there's no god. Thats why i'm not atheist, its just the other extreme of belief in god. Neither of which have specific proof. . . |
