sheyie2007: Till thy kingdom come, you'll continue to point fingers at foreigners for your self inflicted problems... zuma made it clear during his last state of the nation address how apartheid contributed to SAs crime rate. SA has always been full of junkies and drug barons before the arrival of Nigerians.... fix your xenophobic selves and stop highlighting other country's flaws... an average south african is a 'flaw' lipsrsealed lipsrsealed.. deal with it
I doubt if you have been to SA, you wouldn't have gone back to Nigeria of course. The lot of you here are illegal selling drugs, pimps and trafficking small girls. Our parents are as well complaining that during their time there had never been so many drugs they see today, so many sicknesses they see today, so many misdemeanour they see today. Ever since the arrival of this jobless millions Nigerians who go about selling nyaope to our school children, our once loved country has transformed from bad to worse. I am not xenophobic, I just hate foreigners who leave their countries and come to destroy children of their hosts. They pretend to have come here as refugees but their deeds are not just acceptable.

sheyie2007: The only thing you've contributed to south Africa is raping old women and young children, the SA black community is lost cause huh No wonder majority of your 2013 budget was allocated to education, it keeps producing dull black folks like you. undecided undecided
What about foreigners in the likes of Nigerians who traffic small girls, r*ape and even force them on drugs. They do not do this in Nigeria because they fear death penalty in their countries. They also contribute to the problem that we already have in SA.

snydergp: Wow this is really funny because if the writer of that article new about google he/she would've found that Egypt and SA already had satellites way before 2011.

Maybe its just me but last time I checked SA was part of black africa and a African country including Egypt or please tell me does Nigeria have the only right to be called a african nation.

Did u know that SA launched a satellite in 1999/2009/2011.
http://www.earthzine.org/2010/01/11/sumbandilasat-eo-satelilite-shows-south-africa's-space-mettle/

Did u know that Hartebeesthoek radio and satellite tracking station was invloved in assisting and tracking many unmanned U.S space missions, including the Ranger, Surveyor and Lunar Orbitor spacecraft, which explored the planets Venus and Mars
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hartebeesthoek
Perhaps they do not regard the so called rainbow nation as African enough. America work their everything as black and white, yet the end product is branded proudly American.

sheyie2007: That is an achievement from a black nation... the world applauded us for that.. it's all over the internet.... the world emphasized "first African built"
http://www.internationalpeaceandconflict.org/profiles/blogs/african-built-satellite-benefits-nigeria-kudos?xg_source=activity
Those people didn't do their research properly, because what I know is that we already had three satellites before Nigeria ever thought of building their first satellite.

solomon111: we wanted to buy like like 6-7 of those scuds, tear them apart, study them, and then create a local variant.
We also wanted to use them as a platform to launch our home-made space and rocket technology.
ICBM is a little beyond our reach for now.
People are dreamers here.

Who wouldn't?
I would,if i were in your shoes.
It doesn't matter how R-Kelly got in America, but still he is an American. That's where he grew up and I don't think there is anywhere he can live other than USA.

solomon111: okay,i just checked it now.
You are correct.
SA is bigger than Nigeria.
Though I dont think there is anything in SA that is not in Nigeria, except diamonds.
What about platinum and manganese. Platinum deposits are even more expensive than gold and is mined in Rustenburg and Limpopo.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 6:04pm On Feb 27, 2013
solomon111: it still dosen't change the fact that the arpatheid researchers(which were not originally Southafricans) kept their research in SA and also transfered technical know-how from their former countries to southafrica.
Besides,Israel were also instrumental to your technical edge.
Imagine if England transfered nuclear and other kinds of tech to Nigeria during the colonial era,we would probably be a superpower by now.
But no,they only wanted to exploit.
What do you mean by they were not South Africans. Their ancestors arrived in SA in 1652, thus it makes them proudly South Africans.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 5:38pm On Feb 27, 2013
solomon111: I was just kidding though.
I know SA had other resources, but it seems you guys depend more on diamonds.
That is where you are wrong my friend. Gold was the major but now platinum takes the cup.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 5:12pm On Feb 27, 2013
solomon111: what does SA has apart from diamonds?
SA is not as big as Nigeria,so the probability of it having more natural resources is low.
Hello!!! Please you must go to school to finish your grades. SA is far bigger than Nigeria. In fact, our land mass equals Nigeria + Ghana

Henry120: Nigerian use 4x4 pick up, toyota or ford ranger trucks, as primary police vehicles in nigeria. We also use 406 Peugeot sedans and innoson sedans. What is wrong with that? What is there 2 laugh about. You guys should be reasonable when making arguments.
SAPS is using every new car on the market, ranging from VW Golf 5,6,7 GTi, AUDI, BMW, TOYOTA, OPEL, LAND ROVERS, etc, and some are even driving most expensive cars for underground operations. You will be amazed looking at how equipped are those police. I mean an international standard and not forgetting the fact that SAPS are rated among the best in the world.

Maybe congo,but not southafrica.
YOU LIE!!! with capital letters, Nigeria does not have manganese, copper, uranium, aluminium, platinum, iron ore, etc. Only crude oil

It is just that some of your police vehicle look funny and their printing on the sides is just not professional, look like somebody had just used his hand writing with an oil paint. That old Peugeot is still among the police inventory and is widely used in Nigeria. By the way, why are the police allowed to drive in with complaints cars when they come to lodge in complaints in police stations?

solomon111: Actually, countries are known to hide critical military hardwares and platforms from unnecessary exposure.
You mentioned russia and america.
We currently don't know the full strength of both nations.
Iran,pakistan,egypt,israel,N.korea,e.t.c. are nations that are very careful in exposing their military arsenal unnecessarily.
That is why no military website have been able to give a conclusive and accurate picture of the military strength of different nations.
Not every country is like SA.
Hello! We are not speaking of strength here, we are speaking about military hardware.

snydergp: How the hell is it low because there's more than 18,800+ murders per 100000 in Nigeria 12% average in contrast to SA's 15,650 per 100000 of the population which gives SA a 33% rating which is only higher due to our smaller population.

South Africans don't deny that we have a crime problem we are working at it and the results are there for everyone to see the overall crime rate has decreased on average by 8% year on year eventhough certain crimes have remained stubbornly high I must admit.

Thus said even with our high crime rate why are we still one of the top five worlds best tourist destinations withg over 10 million people visiting SA last year and over 12 million the previous year, making SA by far the premier destination on the continent especially amongst africans FACT. The same cannot be said about Nigeria.

Tribal and religious conflicts virtually never takes on a violent nature in SA yet in Nigeria it can mean the wipe out of entire families in remote villages why can u please explain this backward phenomenon of ur country.
That is very true my fellow countryman. Percentages always mislead us, countries with larger population always scores less in stats even when numbers per capita is high. The same can be said about HIV stats. I think it would have been better if it were to be phrased in numbers instead of percentage per total population.

solomon111: keep deceiving yourself.
There is nothing SA has that Nigeria cannot get.
We don't need them as we are not under any direct threat from any part of Africa.
Besides, most military hardwares and stuff that countries like Egypt and Nigeria have are usually hidden, unlike SA that displays all to the world.
South Africa is an Arms manufacturers and just like France, UK, USA they portray the specifications of their homemade military technology. Nigeria does not have the ticket to do that as each and every of their Army fighter vehicles and weapons are imports. Specifications of all Nigerian weapons are available in the websites of the country of their origin. For instance Nigeria uses cobras and the info about cobras are readily available in the country of their manufacturers (Turkey). Beside Nigeria had only upgraded their Army recently by importing almost 100% of their new arms procurement. Nigeria have nothing to hide it is just that they do not have licence to parade such weapons as their own.

souldust: religion doesnt control SA? But msauza confirmed in one of his posts that SAs do pedophilia becos they were told by ritualists that they could be cured of AIDS if they do pedophilia. And you come here to tell lis that you are not controled by religion?

It is important for you to know that pst chris isnt too big in nigeria like he is in SA. His "atmosphere for miracles" programme is banned by the national broadcasting commission. This is not an infringement religious freedom as his atmosphere for faith is still allowed.
This is a stupidity of the highest order. Everyone who is terminally ill will of course look out for every possible chance to be healed from the bondage of the sickness. Foreign pastors and traditional doctors in SA profess themselves as messiahs with the sole aim of conning our people of their hard earned income. This does not, however, translate into the whole country endorsing the demonic cult of this foreigners and our constitution does not support any religion, Christian, Muslim, Buddha, etc. Your so called Pastor Chris or whatever you call him and others were recently called to order by the Action Treatment Campaign, the organisation protecting the rights of people living with HIV in SA to stop deceiving people by lies. Moreover, Pastor Chris was even arrested after hosting a night vigil @ FNB stadium and taken for questioning after he was suspected of bribing people to pretend as if they were lame and terminally ill.

This is what the so called pastor Chris does in SA

South Africa praises Nigerian military
for its apartheid-era help
Source: Defenceweb
The South African National Defence
Force (SANDF) foreign relations head
has praised the Nigerian Armed forces
for its strong relationship with the South
African military.
Major General Daniel Mofokeng, head of
SANDF Foreign Relations, said Nigeria
was in the forefront in the struggle
against apartheid and that the country
made huge sacrifices for the liberation
of South Africa from minority rule.
Nigeria supported the then Frontline
States organisation, which was
established to achieve democratic
majority rule in South Africa. Former
members included Angola, Botswana,
Lesotho, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia
and Zimbabwe. According to the South
African Institute of International Affairs,
Namibia contributed an estimated US$61
billion towards the anti-apartheid effort
between the 1980s and 1994.
Nigeria played a pivotal role in
establishing the United Nations Special
Committee against Apartheid in the
1960s while ordinary Nigerians
contributed financially to the anti-
apartheid movement, especially in
reaction to the 1976 Soweto uprisings.
Mofokeng said that Nigeria also offered
military training and support to assist
the African National Congress.
According to him, Nigeria’s gesture
helped shore up relations between
Abuja and Pretoria.
“I must say the relations between the
two countries most especially before
1994; has been extra ordinary in the
sense that Nigeria has been in the
forefront in the anti-apartheid struggle.
It assisted and trained our cadre, our
students and military students then. So I
must say the cooperation between the
two has been very great indeed”.
“The Nigerian Armed Forces’ very
intimidating credentials, in terms of its
military professionalism, is exemplified
by its role in Liberia, Sierra Leone and
most recently, in Ivory Coast,” Nigeria’s
Defence Adviser to South Africa,
Commodore Jacob Ajani told the Voice of
Nigeria
“In most international fora you find out
that it comes easily that Nigeria takes
the frontline by way of providing
leadership. We have provided many
force commandants for the United
Nations’ peace keeping missions and the
Africa Union as well.”
What do you understand about diplomacy? Its not only Nigeria that supported the anti-apartheid campaign, the whole world did it. I am very sure that Mofokeng would have said the same to any country that was trying to build strong relations with South Africa. I have said this over and over that the ANC is not South Africa, is just a political party and by majority votes is a ruling party in South Africa. The support to the ANC cannot equal to helping the whole country, the truth of the matter is that even Mofokeng knows deep down, aside from his shallow pretext and just impressing the world for the sake of good diplomatic relations of the country, that the youth of SA practically fought for the liberation of the country. Besides, South Africa was doing great under international sanction and did not feel any pressure at all as they still enjoyed partial support from the US and Israel. Should it not been through our struggle, we would have been in the same position to date. Viva the people's power viva.

souldust: i cant argue with any one who says mbeki has never set foot in west africa when indeed he fought aparthied from the ANC office here in lagos. this is a fact your msauza attested to. if you cannot do research to find out, thats your headache. praise be to god that there is pastor chris oyakhilome the Nigerian in SA. you can easily walk into the christ embassy church in whatever crime ridden neighbourhood you live so as to get healing. dont worry. he is competent. he has healed your brothers of the virus that has become synonymous with the proudly xenphobic, pedophilia and proudly corrective rap e.
We really do not need these foreigners who deceive our people with their satanic worshipping cults. Our people have been misled and deprived of their hard earned income, but that day will come when all of these thrush will finally be perched away from our shores. AIDS is incurable and nobody has any spiritual powers whatsoever to heal this sickness.
