"white man thingz" ..lol...

souldust: we have culturally colonized someone in here, he even uses an Igbo word tufiakwa! (God forbid!). Zulu words are unknown here in nigeria.
Your comment is so stupid, it shows how exposed am I coz there are so many Nigerians in SA doing prostitution and drugs. Many of the Nigerian ladies are prostitutes here and ask for R30 a round and their husbands are working in my garden for R50 a day. How will you know Zulu coz you hardly see Zulus in Nigeria? Tufiakwa!!!

A typical Nigerian when get beaten on debate will start to do everything humanely possible to shift the tread to whites did this and that for you. Meanwhile, they seem to forget that those whites are proudly South African and will shed every drop of their blood to protect and fight for South Africa. You must ask your brothers here in SA who now and then get the warm klap (beating) from those Boers.

sheyie2007: you praise your techies like they were built by you blacks, your dimwitted people(blacks) are xenophobic, murderers and molesters.. we black Nigerians will be forever superior to your blacks anyday... yes it's true, we have bad eggs amongst us and so far, 419 is only thing you can point out, but come down here to the west and see how many business savvy Nigerians are prospering.. the future is bright brov... Irrespective of the nigerians into drugs down there, I learnt many hold professional jobs and good businesses as well, don't expect a country with a population of over 160millie to have only good peeps.... yours is 5#millie, the homicide and child molestation rate is alarming..deal with your problems man!
You are Superior, but how many heros who are international icons did you produce. I have many videos of Nigerians who were killing one another savagely in the name of Allah. At school you studied about our black heroes and your children continue to do so. Our children never leant anything about any of your heroes at school even us unless we conducted our own independent research.

agaugust:
the whole world knows south africa paid millions or billions of dollars to israel for direct transfer of nuclear power to south africa. no country has ever built nuclear power on its own without the help of USA or RUSSIA, all other countries paid money to buy it and get it transferred from the first two super nuclear powers of the world, that is what britain, france, china, and israel did. india, pakistan, and iran also paid billions of dollars to russia or china to get nuclear weapons transffered technology.
this is open news the whole world knows.

be honest south africans, your scientists did NOT develop nuclear power at home, you paid money to the government of isreal that was desperate for cash to transfer nuclear power to south african soil and teach you how to manage it. the whole world knows that, and it was the reason OAU of africa now AU, was always against israel even after the egypt israeli war ended long ago. dont try to take glory that does not belong to you okay?

south africa is an over-rated balloon, good country, but grossly over-rated with a false air of 'invincibility'. go sit down.
Your lack of knowledge has clouded your thinking. SA during apartheid had both Nuclear scientists and chemical warfare expects. They assembled the nuclear weapons down here in SA and not in Israel. We were under arms embargo and cannot understand what does it have to do with US and RUSSIA.

This shows the capability that SA does not rely or depend on other couuntries. Under sanctions SA managed to feed its own people for many years and food then was even more cheaper than it is today because it was plenty and there were no exports. Without oil imports we managed to convert coal into oil which is still the practice we are committed to. Without weapons we developed our own.
Can Nigeria ever survive such harsh conditions, where even today their citizens are all over the world searching for better life, conning people by 419 or asking for food in foreign nation. Ask Agaugust maybe is part of 419 scam. He will confirm that to you.

@ Agaugust

Do you agree that ARMSCOR and DENEL are by far bigger than any NIGERIAN ARMS MANUFACTURERS?

Do you believe that South Africa produced more weapons than Nigeria had?

Do you believe that our Military has more advanced weapons and uses better technology and hardware than Nigerian military?

Do you believe that our military budget has been tripling your military budget for many years?

I think that will be for you generals to answer.

agaugust: andrewza i will answer you after i post two new comments for snydergp and msauza to read so that they will not over rate south african military again. every country has old weapons, nigeria has, and south africa has old weapons too, very very many. lol grin

andrewza dont make excuses for the next two posts below, stay out of this, until after snydergp and msauza make one silly excuse for old south african weapons, since they know how to insult nigerian weapons, let me hear them talk like 3 year old children here today and prove to us how they will use those museum piece weapons to defeat nigeria, the giant of africa. lol. grin
I like the way you wrote that giant with a lower case. Deep down you had a conscience of whether what you was describing Nigeria of was right or wrong and if that status still stand or phased out. Listen I don't doubt to tell you that SA is the ECONOMIC GIANT of Africa and its a fact not self-proclaimed.

sometimes when you want to measure your level, try compare your blacks with other blacks in africa, like ghana, afterall your white-masters set you free since about 20 years ago, be grateful to the boer and dont kill him. grin grin grin
Such a low standard is really unbelievable, especially from a man who left his mother land and adopted a new country (white) thousand of miles away with a sole purpose of making a living because somewhere, somehow a black man who ruled his maternal land (Nigeria) ever since 1960's failed to make him stay. As a result had poverty written all over his face and rushed on back to his former colonisers to go beg for a job. I have said previously that colonisation had affected us all and does not even make Nigerians better than black South Africans. When British first set their foot in Nigeria, your great grand parents were living in mud houses wearing animal skins as clothing. The colonisers introduced them to brick houses and fabrics and made their lives a lot more easier than before. Those apadas (Nigerian traditional wear) you wear and call your own have white man written all over them, for I know Africans never discovered fabrics. The British started with developments in Nigeria, like it or not they are pioneers of modern life in Nigeria even though they exploited your natural resources. I think you should as well thank them.

You are being irrational because Europe is written everywhere. You know well that there had never been any famous black scientists in the books of history. At school we have been taught about Isaac Newton, Ohm, Le chatelieh, etc and have never come across a black scientist mentioned anywhere. So if we were to thank Boers here in SA, then who are you supposed to thank there in Nigeria. When the British came in Nigeria they found you living in mud houses and they introduced you to brick houses. They found you wearing skins as clothes and made you wear fabrics that today you have made as if is yours. Those apadas you were is painted British everywhere, because in the beginning you never knew anything about fabrics. That bible was introduced to you by the whites and so tell me how does that make you different from black SA. You are now in a white men's world begging them on your knees to help you become a better person. Shame on you for continuously reminding us about our history as if your grandparents never came from the same atrocities. Worse of it all were even trading with their own brothers in exchange of a piece of Gold.

Johannesburg - South Africa could get up to six new nuclear power stations.

At an Investec Power Summit in Sandton on Tuesday, Energy Minister Dipuo Peters said that the development of a fleet of five or six new nuclear power stations in South Africa could lead to 70 000 new jobs.

Peters said the possibility of South Africa investing in more nuclear power stations formed part of government's debate over the country's future power supply.

However, an ambitious plan such as this would require many more nuclear energy experts than this country currently has. South Africa therefore needs to train more nuclear engineers.

Nuclear power is a growing global industry, and South Africa must therefore compete with the rest of the world for nuclear expertise.
The country will also have to develop a nuclear-energy support industry.

Fortunately, she said, skills developed in the pebble-bed nuclear reactor programme can be harnessed.

She said that a series of nuclear power stations would be more cost-effective than a single one. It costs three times more to build a nuclear power station than a coal-fired plant of the same size.

Medupi, which will produce 4 800MW, will cost R125bn.

Peters said the availability of uranium in South Africa is a big advantage.

SA just haS to be able to convert this mineral locally into a form that can be used, rather than exporting it and then re-importing the final product, she said.

EDF South Africa MD Frederic Diore said government should not exclude Eskom with regard to nuclear power.

Government is talking about a new, independent entity that will see to nuclear power. But Eskom has had 30 years’ experience in the field and it would be wrong to simply toss aside this experience, he said.

Meanwhile Yousuf Haffajee, the head of Eskom’s new power purchasing division – which will buy electricity from independent power providers – said on Tuesday that Eskom was planning to start a selection process for renewable energy projects in October or November.

These projects will form part of government’s aim of adding 1 025MW of renewable energy to the network by 2013.

souldust: what you have said hardly feature in Nollywood. I am sure you have seen many Nollowood movies where people move from the villages to Lagos to get so rich.

The Nollywood is too big for you to paint black. So stop trying to do what you cant do.

Day by day, things get better in nigeria.
If they arent getting better, how then did you expect us to be growing by 7percent. How did you expect smart phones to be so common here? How did you expect we could afford the several brands of satellite tvs we have here? How comes we are getting more connected to the internet as the day goes by? How then did we get to buy the somany cars we have on our roads.

I am sure you know the trend in our country today... It is the ruh for private jet and yatch!

Our economy is moving very rapidly from oil and power has improved drastically in nigeria. Since i came back on holiday, we are guaranteed at least 16hrs a day. Thats over 70percent improvement for us and over 200percent for some others. So those managing the country are not morons like andrewza called them.
What is that 16hrs for? Can you explain to me?

agaugust: too many weapons in nigerian military, so many to write about. we both have powerful military forces, its just a matter of how much information we know about each other.

andrewza
, i promised to answer you question about nigeria's delay to deploy in mali.

mali issue has politics involved. mali issue has ecowas and united nations protocol bureaucracy delays.

mali issue has france involved and france takes mali as extension of its territory.

france always suspects nigeria because nigeria is anglophone and more powerful than the francophone countries .

international diplomacy demands that nigeria should respect france which has its military forces stationed in mali long long ago before nigeria deployed. no country, not even USA will move military force without permission, into a conflict zone when another super power country has stationed its military there ahead of time, otherwise you can have military confrontation with a friendly nation. france is a friend to nigeria, we recently bought new and latest weapons from france for our navy and army, and france has oil companies doing big business in nigeria, so we have to show friendship and respect. nigeria needed permission to deploy in mali because the france deployed there before us.

france declared yesterday that they will not stay and fight in mali for too long. that is why they agreed that ecowas should deploy forces led by nigeria this new year january. simple french tactics, they want to withdraw from the fight when the islamist fighters change to more dangerous hide and seek guerrilla tactics later on , after heavy french armour and aircraft has pushed the rebels into hiding and made them angry which leads to guerrilla warefare that is very hard to win, yesterday on BBC news, france says they want to withdraw from mali sooner or later, and nigerian forces must lead ecowas into a potentially deadly mali religion faith guerrilla war that causes to many infantry casualties which the french are avoiding because a white man is never a fool, they want blacks to do hand to hand combat with blacks and we kill each other. they know how many casuslties the army of Russia suffered from Afghanistan islamic guerrilla fighters called mujaheedin.

nigeran military proved a point to the world with our solo effort to rapidly deploy in mali in 24 hours, nigeria used our C-130 harcules and moves about 1,000 soldiers, several armoured vehicles, jet fighters and helicopter gunships into mali all within 24 to 48 hours without any support from any country in europe and america. i think for a black nation, all black and no white, nigerian military has achieved a lot in real live operations. france got worlds biggest type of military transport aircraft and many free desert terrain 4x4 troop transport vehicles support from canada, britain, and USA, all these white nations saw that nigeria was deploying soldiers and weapons but they did not want help a black nigeria, they chose to help france. some of the military power show that nigeria does in africa makes the white men uncomfortable, they see an emerging black power nation in nigeria, all black no white, and the white men are not feeling easy, they say to themselves....that is how china started and becomes great today.

i work and live in america, and i can tell you that i am lucky to have a good job. the white man will never truly love the black man, they wish we dont even exist at all. its a natural hatred for our black skin colour which in not very nice in their own white eyes.

international politics affects international military deployment, but when there is a will, there will be a way.
That is just a childish excuse and conspiracy theories. Such will never happen down here in SADC

souldust: someone here is boasting about being westernized. I cant laugh. You probably think its a compliment to be westernized. I dont blame you for thinking this way afterall, you were under ...whats the name now....apart... You can fill in the gap.
What do you expect? Should I lie about it? Colonisation had effect on all of us, hence the reason we are westernised. Nigerians are leading the race on that category because all of their hopes are in Europe. Nollywood movies would always show young Nigerian man struggling to make the ends meet in Nigeria and suddenly is awarded a scholarship to UK, get educated and work there for couple of years and return back to Naija as a rich man. That's how Nigerians live, they are always on the expedition of seeking a better life abroad. We S.Africans there's no need for us to go there coz we have our own Europe(whites) here.

That's a st*upid proposal. America voted in a black man in power after how long? How long did it take a black man to rule SA? That will happen on its own time, but not for such a stu*pid approach like how you Nigerians do your politics there about deciding who should become the president. Here in SA people are not supposed to come from certain areas or tribes in order to become presidents like Nigerians who decides that presidents should be from the North. We elect political parties in accordance with merits.

South Africa is all about swag bra. Here we wear expensive designer labels, ranging from Louis Vertton, Emporio Armani, DMD's, Abiter, Carvela, KG, POLO, Calvin Kleins, etc. We apply most expensive french perfumes there after. We don't go around wearing apadas because people will mistaken you as a foreigner. We don't just wear cheap chinese counterfeit. Don't worry if you come to South Africa we will teach how to wear South African style, most of your brothers here have also done so.

Our attire is worn by every one on the continent. Even the BBC's Ugandan Alex Jakana said he owns a couple of nigerian dresses in his wardrobe. We have so much colonized this continent culturally that african culture is the same as Nigerian culture.

Even your DSTV does not have have a single Zulu channel. But there are Africa magic Hausa, and Yoruba and very soon, there will be Igbo too.
Hey stupid that is meant for Nigeria and we don't even get that rubbish channel here. We have our own Zulu channels here in SA and further SA have their own traditional dresses and we don't wear them everyday like you Nigerians do. We are more westernized and I will never ever wear that rubbish called Nigerian traditional dress in my body because my peers are gonna laugh me off like nobody's business.

South Africa is indeed so beautiful and fascinating. That's why foreigners when they set their foot here wouldn't even think for a wink of going back to their mother land. A diverse country with Asians, whites, Coloureds and Blacks, unlike in Nigeria where you see black everywhere you go. I would have been sick in that environment where you could hardly see a white man, Chinese, Indian, English, etc. Here in South Africa we have our own South African Chinese, SA Indians, SA English, SA Americans, and Nigerians are here in numbers, who knows sooner will breed a new generation of SA Nigerians.

scipher: and what are you revealing now? your country is built by whites deal with it man... label Nigeria as bad as you want, our blacks will still be superior to yours anyday! look what we've made of it.... in year 1960, you were building roads for Afrikaans, and still required documents to access some areas in your own country.... you should keep shut!
Afrikaners are proudly South Africans and all of their generation from 1700 were born and bred South Africans. Not everything in South Africa was built by them. The British made their contribution and were the first to start with developments, the Afrikaners made their contribution and the backs are currently making their contribution as well. That MTN that today you so much shine about in Nigeria is our product. In SA there are many black owned companies, we have built infrastructure, roads that meet international standards, the fastest train in Africa, stadia, power stations, upgraded our Airports, Built million of houses to the poor free of charge, construction of sewage system to every housing unit, installation of tap water in every house, Electricity to every unit, we have brought many sporting events that never happened anywhere in the world and about to bid for Olympics, have now recently won the SKA project where Scientists all over the world will come to SA every day of the year by year to make their research that will change the face of the earth. The black nation in SA has achieved a lot and by the time we bid for Olympics there is no any option, the Olympic commitee will hand it over to us in a gold platter. They pleaded so much with us to forward our bid when they were hosting their conference here in Durban.

Nigerian Military will never make the top three list, I bet you. For as long as there are still the likes of SA, Egypt, Ethiopia and Algeria, I do not think they will ever make it above them. They (Nigeria) are powerful I agree, but for as long as those above-mentioned real giants and not the self made are there, will never succeed. That is my conclusion.

Our own engrs built our space satellites. We have four satelites and today, we are one of the few if not the only african country to have a functioning space agency. Our engs also, are in our devence ind developing military technologies and in the next 5years, we will start building our own combat planes.

He have a funtioning financial sector that for 9years and for every single day of that 9years, the financial sector has remained the most active part of our economy.

Today, even without adequate power supply, our generator powered economy will soon become the largest economy in Africa and BRIC will become BRINC.
You really don't move with times you know. You must strive hard to catch up with our pace and become up-to-date with current affairs. South Africa launched their first satellite followed by the second before Nigeria could even send theirs to the space.
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_African_National_Space_Agency

I read you mentioned something about your future aspirations about the membership of your country with BRIC, sorry you have long time been outpaced by SA in that chapter. SA is now officially a member of G20 and BRICS. Perhaps after some 30yrs will change to to BRINCS
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m):
scipher: don't lecture me dude, I learnt all that in high school..how is Nigeria lagging behind? are you talking about our military again? speaking of infrastructure, we've got hot places in nigeria as well as slums, I can't start posting pictures as you can find them on other threads. and we're still developing, you don't know what Nigeria looks like man, I bet you've never been to any other country in your life! your visual of nigeria is what your tv stations televise for y'all to see down there .. like you emphasized above, your slums were upgraded when anc came into power cuz the Afrikaans were building business districts for themselves by using you guillable blacks hence neva gave a s#it about your place of abode..if mandela neva existed / any freedom fighter at all, south Africa will be ruled by whites and would have been pretty much advanced than what it is today.. the Afrikaans still dictates the tunes played by ANC.. they'll never give total control to you blacks; they wouldn't want to watch what they've built over a hundred years go to the dogs.
You have missed it again, Afrikaners created a lot of inequalities, they were only developing certain areas that were segregated and ignored those inhabited by blacks. How does it help dude, I disagree with your suggestions that South Africa would have been more developed than it is today should they have still been in power. Many township for eg Soweto has been developed into a more advanced township in SA. There is no need to catch a taxi, train or bus to go shopping in Joburg CBD anymore, everything is around us and the place is now fascinating so much that even foreigners when they come visit soweto would want to go back to their countries.

I repeat again Afrikaners made their contribution and we are busy making our contribution. Black South Africans can be as bad as they rumoured, but when it comes to a class, style and bling we are the pride of Africa. We as black SA can be corrupt but our culture still is in the name of elegance. We like everything that is organised and clean. For example, South Africans have lived for many years in Hillbrow, JHB until inflow of foreigners started to pile there. Today Hilbrow is no more as clean and attractive as it was in the 80s, the infrastructure there is worn-out and even the place has been renamed Lagos because its only drugs and prostitution that calls the order of the day. They have now even moved further to downtown Johannesburg, the infrastructure there is dilapidated, there's dirt everywhere in the street.
The last time the munipality embarked on a major project to clean the street of downtown Johannesburg, but it could not take long that you started to see all those fridges and blankets that were thrown out of the flats windows. Papers and plastics were lining the streets and now you begin to ask if this people were not taught the basics of hygiene and cleanliness from their home countries that you do not have to litter anywhere. I am crying for the old Johannesburg, Egoli that used to be so bright and clean.

EFX001: A QUOTE FROM EX SANDF COMMANDER EeBEN BARLOW (PLEASE GOOGLE FOR MORE ON MR EEBEN)

Unfortunately, South Africa like many African countries, accepted the “free” advice that was given by foreign military advisors and governments. One of the “suggestions” was that the new SANDF (it is no longer the SADF) should purge all those in combat units that “posed a threat of conducting a coup”. The end result is that many soldiers, black, white and coloured were “retrenched” leaving the new SANDF with a very limited pool of knowledge. Even sadder still is that a weakened SANDF has no ability to project any reasonable amount of force – anywhere.

The old SADF was, despite its antagonists, not really a political machine and the idea of staging a “coup” was never really on the cards as it saw itself as an instrument of the state. Had it wanted to conduct a coup, of course it could have done so – but it didn’t even consider that an option.

Those of us who love our country and our continent are extremely concerned at what we see and read.

Sadly, the merits of affirmative action are no longer really seen in the SANDF or the defence industry. What army in the world has private soldiers in their 40s and 50s? Our defence industry was sold to those who advised that we didn’t need it. Our technology and intellectual property was likewise sold for a nickel and a dime. The once-mighty ARMSCOR is now a financially-challenged DENEL. And, to crown it all, we ended up buying equipment (again on advice of…) that we really did not need.

Many of our naval vessels are now in dry-dock and no longer seaworthy. Our air force is likewise not too operational.

To me this is not a black and white thing but rather an unintended consequence of poor advice that was heeded. I find that both disturbing and sad. That is my opinion…

Rgds,

Eeben

I GUESS THIS SETTLES IT!
I like it, of course, such is just an opinion and not a fact from a once disgruntled fellow comrade who failed to make it up the ladder in military ranks. I guess you should have instead shoved that in your dustbin.

scipher: what about your liberation song? "kill the boer"
That song used to be sang in exile during difficult time of a black men in South Africa. It was later reintroduced by Peter Mokaba who was the elected president of ANCYL at the time and subsequently was cautioned by Nelson Mandela as South Africa was trying to heal the wounds of the past. I see in your post you wrote a crazy formula meaning that we are tantamount to Somalia minus our Afrikaner counterparts. You seem to know very little about the history of SA even though you surely have come across it at school. Afrikaners ruled SA from 1948-1990 and even the time before that, SA just like Nigeria was a British colony.

Afrikaners first came to SA in 1652 as Dutch which evolved into Afrikaans as years go by. During the advent of the English in SA the first Anglo-Boer war erupted where Britain lost and some many years later Britain came back reinforced and defeated the Boers in the Second Anglo-Boer war to grab full control of the territory and made it a union somewhere in the 1900. That was when SA started developing with a black men being used as a slavery to build the infrastructure. All those rail ways, skyscrapers, roads where build by a blacks. Well they have made their contribution and now its our turn.

Do you know that before ANC came into power, our infrastructure was bad, infact our township looked like what Nigeria looks like today. There were no running water, sanitation, electricity in many townships but within a space of 10yrs all that was a history. We started to drive around on clean roads, Huge malls were in our neighbourhood, there's no need to go to CBD anymore. We started seeing SA growing to greater heights and now it made me wonder why Nigeria after so long under the leadership of a black man is still lagging behind, while their ANC counterparts could effect changes in the lives of poor South Africans within a space of 10yrs. More than 25million low cost housing units were built since 1994, many sporting events that included world cup show piece were brought to us by black leadership, we are even tired of this tournaments because now they seem to come year after year from Rugby, Cricket and Soccer. Let other countries have their chance, we are tired of this euphoria.

scipher: it appears you've been swindled / out-smarted by a Nigerian?.. I can't help but observe how your comments carried so much hate towards Nigerians (which is outside the topic) I wouldn't say you're jealous, your great grand dad has transferred hate to you, it has consumed and shaped who you are.. I'm happy our brothers down there don't use drugs but sell them (in a country with high level of unemployment ) to y'all junkies.. at least, we're smart enough not to deal in our own shit.. it's business bro, not that I support it. @syngerpd - just because you've attended classes / carried a school bag doesn't give you the impetus to declare how smart you are..let alone, comparing yourself to an average nigerian . I bet my kid sister would nail you intellectually...
My dear friend ever since those drug lords and cartels came into our shores. Many vigilante groups and mobs were formed to deal with those vampires. If the devil is caught selling drugs to school children, will be beaten and flogged until the owner(Nigeria) comes out to speak on his behalf. You can call it a business bra, but please don't let yourself to be caught.

Agaugust- you probably obtained those pictures above from one of the forums and websites of the racist groups in SA pleading and begging the world with the message " Help fight white genocide in SA". The last picture above with the crowd holding placards behind the barrier of football ground is computer generated. The year was in 2010 when it was revealed that the picture was a computer generated picture from a crowd who were holding a placard with a completely different massage from what is now modified.

Aguagust our Airforce existed for some 43yrs before that joke you call Nigerian Airfox came into being. Hence, don't mind my spelling. You now have the guts to tell us that we are inexperienced, you are speaking of a force that is even more experienced than the Americans. Shame on you, such a performance is a big*otry of the highest order. That's a character of a typical Nigerian, even when told that trading in drugs is wrong would still back chat, telling you that there is nothing wrong with selling drugs, always stubborn. That's why every now and then get the beating and flogging of their life in South Africa. You really seem to forget that your Airforce generals came begging on their knees to help them shape their force. The reason I meant passanger planes is because every Airforce has a special kinds of passanger planes to deploy their troops although others have Booings like SAAF, USAF, etc. Tufiakwa!!!
