Boko Haram killed 15 Nigerian soldiers. Chei!! Boko, if I were to rank you where exactly would I have put you? http://newsdiaryonline.com/jonathan-says-nigeria-winning-war-on-terror-at-burial-of-soldiers-boko-haram-killed/ |
agaugust: south africa is fighting modern war against poachers de-horning Rhino's in their animal kingdomRhinos have long been taken care of by the game rangers until the army came in. Ever since the take over by the Army, the Rhino poaching has declined dramatically. SA has never lost any war against Rhino poaching. Moreover, South Africa has a well organised security cluster to battle Boko Haram. Our security is so organised such that we have many specialised branches to tackle any security threat in our country. Nigeria must just admit that the Boko Haram saga caught them flat footed when they have all along been relaxing to invest more in the development of their safety and security. Crime in SA is what makes our authorities to forever want to bolster our security from time to time. Boko Haram has defeated you toughest men wrongly considered to be among the powerful armies in Africa by you when they infact act cowardly towards engaging Boko Haram. Plastic soldiers, so to say. |
agaugust: Brazil cannot clear nigerian coast, the same way our army artiller sank all south african navy valour warships, same way all brazil's navy warships will be sunk by nigerian army's massive 660 gun artillery firepower protecting on our coastal. No matter how you put it, Brazil will sambalize you very badly. Nigerias military budget is too small to challenge countries like brasilia and is only by ezemoya's grace that Nigeria will win war against Brasilia. ![]() |
souldust: what is reflected in the budget as military spending is not all the military spends in a year. The state governments also purchase hardware for the military as well. This fact has being said most times on NL.What exactly is your point of argument. I do not really see your bone of contention regarding your post above. |
2smooth2shout: no you gave me achievements of your special task force instead of military. unless you are trying to say your task force is better than your armyThen it shows that you do not follow this thread. |
2smooth2shout: @southafricans. Why is it that when i ask you simple questions you all hide your heads like tortoise?Military achievements: I gave you that answer long ago and I am surely not going to repeat myself. Nigeria does not have military achivements on its own or do you want to make noise about peace keeping missions again? |
Boko Haram strike Kano again, despite their alleged defeat. They leave six dead and score of people injured. Are they really defeated or this was just a cover up? http://ireports-ng.com/2013/07/29/boko-haram-strikes-in-kano-again-kills-over-six-persons-scores-injured-in-kano/ |
NaijaPikinGidi: Bloody liar! You only wish. I know your type and I can tell that you have no clue what you are seeing. Chei! Who can cure you of your stupidity? There are no such things as University Military Games in your real or imagined world in South Africa. I know. But then you are welcome to prove me wrong if you can!Yes we normally do them by competing between hostels, but they do not get media coverage. |
andrewza: for some one in the navy those boats you brag about do not frighten anyone. There's no even need to go any further about it. Brazil will crash Nigeria at home even with their 2014 procured arms. @Agaugust Nation will lose badly at home at the hands of Brasil. They will even force Nigerian women to dance Brazilian dance (Samba). ![]() |
DENEL is developing new powerful all weather SAM: Read below; http://itweb.co.za/mobilesite/defenceweb/home/item_id-30178/ |
agaugust: fool, south african army's best air defence weapon is the starstreak hand held shoulder fired anti-aircraft missile imported from Britain, not made in aouth africa you F00LCan you please compare you Roland SAM with a speed of only Mach 1.3 to our Umkhonto: Below are umkhonto specification: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umkhonto(missile) Here are Rolands SAMs specifications: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roland_(missile) Roland weighs 67Kg and Umkhonto 130Kg |
agaugust: .That which you have shown above is far from being military training. During my years in university we used to host such games dubbed university military games, where we used to compete in teams and hostels with riding robes, running with cannisters, etc. |
agaugust: Nigerian army trains about 300,000 nigerian university graduates in a military regimented type of camp every year in the NYSC paramilitary youth program, they are a ready reserve force for war call up with just basic infantry training to add to the first training the arny gave them in camp. Nigeria has over 2 million of them trained in the last 7 years. The fact is Brazil will crash you with your $2.3 billion military budget. How the hell will you compare yourself with a military that is run by the budget 20 times more than what your military get. A country with its military expenditure larger than Nigerias total budget combined. Only fool will believe your nonsense. |
andrewza: some current and possible future SA hardware.Power of a 33% brain capacity. Funny how those who claim themselves as among the intelligent in the world cannot do it. ![]() |
agaugust: a south african air force officer with Bachelor of Science Degree in military science should not be doing copy and paste of military analysis, let him try something ingenious with his 33% south african brain and post it here for we civilians to learn from his military university 'ingenuity' or should i teach him how to do it ?That was surely not copy and paste. That format he has shown is not how GFP white. Ofcourse, he might have taken some facts from it, but he made his own findings to show us that Brazil will defeat Nigeria without any difficulty. Not every person has time to go through every source and attach it. Besides many media still rely on GFP for military rankings, only because agaugust doesn't agree with GFP, so every one of us has to buy his assertions. NO! Some of us including myself still agree with GFP military researchers. Here is another aspect that fighter pilot reflected about the manpower of Brazil which is 3 times bigger than that of Nigeria. Their military reserves amounted to over 1.3 million in 2006. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_Armed_Forces Bet with me Brazil will flush Nigeria and Egypt combined. |
agaugust: what a big disgrace to south african military cademies and the 33% brain they produce. a whole south african air force officer @Fighter Pilot was asked by a nigerian civilian to analyze nigerian military vs brazilian military....he went to copy and paste global-firepower website data and claimed he proved a point, and he has south african bachelors degree in military scienceThere is nothing wrong from what fighter pilot has analysed. He just only did a quick research by quoting GFP. The GFP is not entirely wrong especially when it comes to the economic indices. Brazil has much bigger economy which is almost six times the economy of Nigeria. Their military budget is even higher than what figher pilot has reflected totalling $40 billion which is almost 18 times bigger than that of Nigeria. 1. Brazil are the big military spenders in South American continent. http://www.indexmundi.com/facts/brazil/military-expenditure 2. Sipri has also confirmed that Brazil are the biggest military spenders, more than what Nigeria can only dream of. http://www.spacewar.com/m/reports/SIPRI_Latin_America_military_spending_up_999.html |
2smooth2shout: then why did you retreat from CAR. you lost all credibility after that. even M23 laugh it off and warned your troops when they heard SANDF was going to join the offensive in DRC. the deadline UN gave the rebels expired by 4pm today and no offensive yet cos SANDF are still training. is it world war z they are going to fight?Zuma's intention was not to retreat, the parliament and political pressure is what forced Zuma to retreat from CAR. Zuma was told that countries cannot be used to stop coup d'etat in other countries. |
agaugust: south african mugusNigeria has the most weakest air defence in Africa. That was the reason they have asked India to help them modernise their Air defence system. Remember India is as well 33% brain capacity through their education system. In Africa the only country that has the most powerful and modern Air defence is South Africa. We do not need any country to come and help us modernise it, we do it on our own. I hope you bring your F7-Ni to SA for a test to see how powerful is our Air defence. Oh! My God I forgot that your F7s have mechanical default and just fall on their own from the sky because the Chinese like to take advantage of you. |
The Boko Haram come from the grave and strike yet again despite their purported defeat: http://www.dailyguideghana.com/?p=90366 |
2smooth2shout: i just wonder if south africans purposely chose to be ignorant or are just being silly. tell me which country in the world that is currently countering insurgency that is not using heavy military hardware.Nigerian military is too weak to fight Boko Haram alone. Remember they once lost against the BH and helplessly allowed them to hijack police station and prison just under their noses. They had to reinforce their army by teaming up with other militaries of neighbouring countries to form a task force. Nigeria cannot handle battles alone. |
2smooth2shout: 1. South Africa (This country manufacture weapons with a rich economy)Thank you very much!!! |
2smooth2shout: 1. South Africa (This country manufacture weapons and a rich economy) |
agaugust: well @THIZA, sorry i have to dissappoint you again, about 90% of DENEL manufactured weapons are light weapons and those cannot win you a war against powerful countries like Egypt, Nigeria, Algeria, Ethiopia, and Morooco. The list is endless!!! What about the fleet of Armoured and heavy vehicles, howitzers, bombs and missiles. Those are not small arms. Do you want me to list them for you. Denel has no competition in Africa. |

agaugust: https://books.gigaimg.com/avaxhome/avaxhome/2007-11-10/GM_The_Boer_War.jpgI pity that person who taught you that wrong history of SA, because only God knows what that person has done to your tiny innocent brain. You keep making noise about 33% brain capacity as if it doesn't also apply to your newly found favourite, the Boers. We have one National education system and as well sit on the same desk. In the beginning, SA was just an open veld inhabited by the bush men, dubbed the first people. They were later joined by the bantu people who thrived from the North and some years later in 1652 the man known as Jan Van Riebeeck who was an explorer drove his men down to the south of Africa where he found the land and weather favourable to live. JV Riebeeck, father of the Boer Nation (Netherlanders, Germans, French huguenots) started civilisation in SA and was later hijacked by the English who have also come to join the music through colonisation. Meanwhile, Blacks have taken power and are busy making their contribution. When they came into power developments in SA were so fragmented such that it was only concentrated in cities than in townships. Blacks are now building the area that was ignored by white governments. Currently, there are many projects and structures being build by the black government. Black South Africans have always contributed in building SA throughout the epoch of slavery. There is no any white man who has ever build a bridge in SA because manual labour was done by blacks. |

GidiNaijaPikin: Two universities could not teach you enough? Kindly study your SA Immigration Act of 2002 as amended in 2004 ... Spend a lot of time on Sections 26 and 27. There you'll see clearly that being married to a South African is not a guarantee to permanent residency or citizenship. This man here does not know a thing or two about immigration legislation in South Africa. Here under is a complete immigration Act amended 2004 http://www.lhr.org.za/policy/immigration-act-13-2002-amended-2004 In South Africa we have an Act termed PAJA (Promotion of Administrative Justice Act) which regulate the actions of organ of states and in this case would be Director General of Home Affairs. The afore-mentioned act provide that the actions of organs of state should be responsible when they are administering the Act. Their action should always be deemed to be legal, procedural and reasonable. Thus, even though the Director General has discretion "the use of may" under Article 26 and 27 (Subsections needed) to grant or deny the permanent residence to foreign husband, that does not mean foreign husbands married to SA citizens cannot be granted permanent residence. Remember that for any rejection of permanent residence to a legally married foreign husband, the DG will be forced to ensure if his/her actions are, inter alia; -within the perimeters of the law -were procedurally fair, and -sufficient reasons should be given for failure to grant permanent residence to a good faith foreign husband. It is however very seldom that such applications would be rejected to a good faith legally married foreign spouse. |
GidiNaijaPikin: You are lost in your web of stupidity and I can't help you here! Sorry boy!!You failed yet again. The most simplest way in South Africa to acquire permanent residence and eventually citizenship is through marriage. That route is even taken by the richest of your fellow Nigerians here in SA. So, do you think they have time to waste to explore other routes? Definitely, NO!!! |
GidiNaijaPikin: You continue to bungle your views and comments when confronted with solid facts!! It was you who raised issues of Permanent Residency as the motivation of foreign men who marry South African women. And I called your nonsense out by educating you about easier and more dignified paths that foreigners have rather used Please Mr. Shibobo MsauZA explain your views below:So what is wrong about that permanent residence highlighted above? Once you marry SA citizen, it is unnegotiable that you will acquire permanent residence permit and eventually will be converted into citizenship after a year or so. Thus, what is your argument? |
