If your cousin must date, let her use what she has to get what she wantBeehorn: Hello nairalanders. I am in need of matured piece of advice. My cousin is currently 19 yrz old and she had dated 4 guys. She is single and searching. All her exes ran away from her. The reason why they left her is because she refused to give up her virginity. Should she start having sex so has to please them? N.B: SHE IS A SECONDARY VIRGIN. |

Hey sport lovers,
I had an argument with a colleague that most people prefer to watch live match at the viewing center than any other place. So, I decide to create this thread so that I can have you share your choice.
I understand that the rate at which people go to viewing center has reduced drastically overtime due to accessibility of Dstv and others.
On a personal note, I will take a close viewing center any day because of the excitements which include the side talks debates e.t.c
Pls share your preferred location to watch live match. |

Maybe you are right! Osyfellaini: The best consensus for the APC in my opinion is PRIMARIES because the delegates(people) needs to make their choice and choose from the options available instead of the sitting room selection of candidate which is not democratic that we see in other political parties. I believe the APC has passed the consensus option because it didn't going through the NWC or NEC. Atiku is still the most prepared candidate for the presidency and APC's best bet to Aso Rock because of his experience and wealth of ideas. Change is needed in Nigeria. #ANigeriForAll. |

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday met with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal and the Zamfara State governor, Abdulazeez Yari, behind closed doors. The meeting which was held in Abuja was part of last ditch efforts towards building a consensus over the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress. It was gathered that the meeting was earlier designed to be a meeting of the party’s presidential aspirants and party leaders from the north. However, it was learnt that former Head of State, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Sam Nda-Isaiah did not show up for the meeting. A source privy to the meeting confided in our correspondent that Tuesday’s meeting was one of several scheduled to hold to reduce the acrimony which some fear could threaten the party’s chances in the 2015 elections. The source said “There is nothing unusual about these kinds of meetings at this time. “It is understandable that Kwankwaso could not attend because he just opened his campaign office earlier today, others could not attend for one reason or another but we will keep trying. You don’t expect to get instant results.” A broader meeting of party leaders and aspirants is scheduled to hold in Abuja, on Thursday. www.punchng.com/news/atiku-tambuwal-others-meet-over-consensus/ |
Politics › Tension In Amosun’s APC Faction As 8 Lawmakers Defect To PDP, SDP by msmon(op): 8:02am On Nov 12, 2014 |
By Daud Olatunji ABEOKUTA—Palpable fear has gripped Ogun State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun’s camp following the defection of eight lawmakers to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and Social Democratic Party, SDP, in the state. Speaker of the House, Suraj Adekunbi disclosed the decamping, yesterday, during plenary, while reading a letter announcing the defection of eight lawmakers to the PDP and the SDP. Adekunbi said: “I received a letter announcing the defection of Messers Joseph Adegbesan, Salmon Adeleke, John Obafemi, Remmy Hazzan and Obafemi Olowo-Oloja to the PDP. “I also got three letters this morning from Hons. Olufemi Allen-Taylor, Oludaisi Elemide and Elizabeth Anifowose announcing their defection from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Social Democratic Party, SDP.” Adegbesan, Adeleke and Obafemi had dumped the Peoples Party of Nigeria, PPN, to join the PDP while Hazzan and Olowo-Oloja also dumped the APC for the PDP. Allen-Taylor, Elemide and Anifowose who were members of the APC defected to the SDP. Vanguard gathered that the development has sent jitters into the APC camp of Amosun as the governor was planning to present the 2015 budget proposal to the state House of Assembly on November 18. The Speaker who also read the governor’s letter during plenary said he will present the fiscal proposal at 10. am. According to him; “This is in accordance with the provision of section 121 of the Nigerian constitution. “Governor Amosun expressed gratitude to the members of Ogun State House of Assembly for their cooperation with the executive,” the letter said. The House after the latest defections is divided into two main camps with 13 members including the speaker in Amosun’s APC faction, while PDP and SDP also have combined figure of 13 lawmakers. www.vanguardngr.com/2014/11/tension-amosuns-apc-faction-8-lawmakers-defect-pdp-sdp/ |

The Vagina is one of the most important parts of the female body, incidentally, while we dedicate so much time to facials, even tones, pedicure/ manicure, hair and Spa visits, we hardly ever think of taking extra care of the down there. And maybe this isn’t because we just don’t care, maybe it is because we don’t know these important things about the Vagina.
-Your Vagina is a result of what you eat: if you eat junks or unhealthy food everytime, your vagina is certainly going to smell awful. Replace your daily intake of junks and unhealthy food with fruits and plenty water so you can have a fresh smell coming from down there.
-Anal and MouthAction may cause Vaginal Odor: According to wikihow “Because any introduction of foreign bacteria can upset the delicate balance in your vagina and so sexual practices can have an effect. Certain sexual practices in particular can set off a reaction those practices include anal sex before vaginal sex, MouthAction and the use of objects or food” (Such as ice cream) as penetrative methods. This goes to say, after anal sex, change condoms before moving to vaginal sex.
-Peeing after sex is important in Vaginal hygiene: Try to pee after sex, even if you have intentions to wash too. During sex, unwanted bacteria can travel up the urethra which is connected to the bladder. Peeing after sex can help flush the bacteria out of the Vaginal area, helping you feel healthy.
-Sex exercises the vagina: Well it would please or unplease you (pick your choice) to know that Sex is good exercise for the Vagina, sex keeps the Vagina toned and elastic. You know what else exercises the Vagina? Vibrators!
-Scented creams marketed to “change” the smell of your down there might actually cause it to smell worse than it already is. You see, except these scented creams have extremely natural and chemical free ingredients, you are likely going to eventually smell worse than you were trying to avoid. This goes for scented pads and tampons too.
-The Vagina stays clean on its own: Interesting yeah? Here is how, according to wikihow, “The Vagina actually stays clean on its own without the help of outside cleansers. Like other parts of the body, the vagina has a pH level that needs to be maintained within a certain range-3.5 and 4.5, to be specific-in other to prevent the growth of unhealthy bacteria and facilitate the growth of good bacteria”.
-Clean and dry clothes and underwear helps the Vagina stay healthy and clean. Also, loose fitting clothes do the same.
-Wipe your vagina from front to back when cleaning, rather than back to front when cleaning. This will keep fecal matter from entering your vagina and causing an infection. And also use plain, unscented toilet paper to wipe. Avoid using wet wipes. www.360nobs.com/2014/02/eight-things-you-did-not-know-about-your-vagina/ |

Sports › AFCON 2015: CAF Rules On New Venue Today by msmon(op): 1:14am On Nov 11, 2014 |
A judgement on the future of the 2015 tournament is set to be made today when the Confederation of African Football (CAF) holds an executive committee meeting in Cairo. Morocco has failed to meet the deadline to confirm it will host the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in January.
The North Africans had requested a postponement because of fears over the Ebola outbreak. CAF refused the request and set a deadline of 8 November for Morocco to confirm they would host the tournament.
The deadline was also given to any countries who may want to step in as replacement hosts. A statement from Morocco’s sports ministry said: “Morocco maintains its request to postpone the CAN 2015 to 2016. “The decision is dictated by health reasons because of the serious threat of Ebola and the risk of its spreading.”
Morocco, which last staged the finals in 1988 and which will host FIFA’s Club World Cup next month, had asked for the 16-team tournament to take place in either June 2015 or January 2016.
However, CAF’s executive committee unanimously agreed to maintain the dates of next year’s competition - which is scheduled to run between 17 January and 8 February. “We will never take any risk if we are unsure about whether a competition poses a threat to the hosts,” CAF secretary-general Hicham El Amrani told BBC Sport on Tuesday. “That would be as disastrous for us as for any nation having the virus.” El Amrani said that consultation with the World Health Organisation (WHO) had been key to the rejection of Morocco’s request. “Their advice was very clear, in that they only recommend cancelling mass gatherings and football matches in the heavily-affected countries: Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone,” he said. tribune.com.ng/news/sports/item/21162-afcon-2015-caf-rules-on-new-venue-today |
Politics › PDP’ll Win Decisively And Convincingly In 2015: Presidency by msmon(op): 12:59am On Nov 11, 2014 |
AHEAD of the scheduled declaration by President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday (today), the Presidency on Monday said the ruling Peoples Democratic Party would win the 2015 polls convincingly across the country.
Jonathan will today declare his bid for a second term and he has already been adopted by the leadership of the PDP though another aspirant, Prof. Akasoba Duke-Abiola, will contest with the President for the PDP ticket.
The PDP had initially refused to sell the party’s presidential nomination forms to any other person apart from Jonathan but the party later changed its mind and sold the N24m form to Duke-Abiola.
The Special Adviser to the President on Political Affairs and National Coordinator of Goodluck Support Group, Prof. Rufai Alkali, who spoke at an inter-faith prayer session organised by the GSG said in Abuja on Monday that Jonathan had all it required to ensure landslide victory in 2015. “While other contestants rushed to the Eagle Square, we felt there was need to take the campaign to God in prayer. We are not doing ceremonial prayers. Our prayer is not whether we will win; we will win decisively and convincingly. PDP will win. We can never use other countries as role models. Our elections will now be the new model for others to follow,” he told the gathering.
Alkali denied media reports that the declaration by the President had been postponed. He said, “We have been hearing and reading in the newspapers that there is a plan to shift the declaration date of Mr. President. It is the handiwork of our enemies in the opposition. There is no plan to shift the declaration. If there is anything or changes, you will not read them on the pages of the newspaper. You will hear from us. “I am humbled from what I have been hearing from those that have been speaking. What I have seen has shown me once again that Nigerians are great people. Everything we do in this group, we do with style. Mr. President has good intentions for this country. “The men of God should preach peace wherever they are. They should preach peace in the churches and in the mosques. They should avoid bringing religion into politics. If you are going to play politics, you should know the kind of politics you want to play.” www.punchng.com/news/pdpll-win-convincingly-in-2015-presidency-says/ |

Politics › REVEALED!: FG Saves N528bn On Project Reviews In Five Years by msmon(op): 4:58pm On Nov 10, 2014*. Modified: 5:21pm On Nov 10, 2014 |
NOVEMBER 10, 2014 BY OLALEKAN ADETAYO Leave a Comment The Federal Government on Monday said it had saved N528billion on reviews conducted on some projects since 2009 till date.
The reviews were conducted to ensure that their awards conform with the Public Procurement Act. The Director-General, Bureau of Public Procurement, Emeka Ezeh, disclosed this while speaking at the first national conference on public procurement held inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
“From 2009 till date, the bureau has saved over N528billion in project reviews, established a procurement cadre in the system and issued standard bidding documents for all classes of procurement; issued standard regulations for works, goods and services; established debarment and complaint procedures; translated the Act into Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba languages,” he told the gathering that included Vice President Namadi Sambo and state governors Ezeh added that the bureau had also so far recommended over 180 companies for investigation.
He said the list of the affected firms was submitted to the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
He said their offences varied from tax fraud to understatement of turnover. He said, “Over 180 companies have been recommended to ICPC and EFCC for investigation on matters bothering on tax fraud that included forgery, use of fake documents and understatement of turnover among others.
“The states have been denied these benefits because they have no law on procurements. “In most cases where EFCC has investigated corruption cases involving contract award at the last point they will realise that the federal law it is today, does not apply to the states or local government.”
Sambo who represented President Goodluck Jonathan at the event said the government had directed the BPP to begin contractors’ categorisation and classification, a process which he said was ongoing.
He said during the 2015 financial year, any company not registered or categorised in the BPP database would not be allowed to do any business with the Federal Government.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitments to further strengthen the BPP to continue to carry out its assignment.
Sambo disclosed that 24 states have so far passed procurement laws in their states and therefore set up their own regulatory authorities. www.punchng.com/news/fg-saves-n528bn-on-project-reviews-in-five-years/ |

Last saturday, Danny Baker anchor of BBC Radio 5 live ask this question: What are the strangest substitutions you've witnessed or been involved in?
Danny Baker randomly selected a few responses on BBC Sport day prior to the match between Liverpool and Chelsea;
Michael Wright: My mate Charlie told me he had to be subbed at half time as he was going with his girlfriend to get some wallpaper.
Graham Smith: Was once subbed off to go to a naming ceremony after scoring. When I left we were 2-1 up, but we lost 3-2.
Will Jones: My mate got substituted off so he could rush to the hospital for the birth of his sister! Chris Harrison: I got subbed off after 60 minutes as my wife went into labour on the sideline! Was a dad not long after.
Dan Froud: Our keeper subbed himself at half-time to go on holiday without telling any of us beforehand.
Liam Harvey: Got subbed on, a corner was taken and the full time whistle goes!
Lee Gambell: I got subbed on at half-time because our central midfielder had to start his shift. He's a police officer.
Peter McCafferty: I once pretended to be injured to get subbed. I was actually too cold. Was about 11 or 12 at the time.
Chris Deeley: Rolling subs... once got subbed on so a mate could go to the loo, then off again when he got back five minutes later!
Brad Hope: Subbed off with 20 to go in a league decider, serious case of the 'Gary Linekers'. Changing room toilets will never forgive me. In a World Cup group match against the Republic of Ireland at Italia 1990, former England striker Lineker endured what he described as "the most horrendous experience of my life".
Dan Boden: Got subbed on at half-time as was feeling a bit worse for wear after my engagement party. Scored from the halfway line and got subbed off 10 minutes later after feeling too ill to carry on.
Niall Warn: Subbed at half-time to go to a job interview. I didn't even get the job.
Mike Peacock: Once saw a Metropolitan Police footballer subbed to go on a raid!
Josh Darwall: I once saw the opposing team's goalkeeper go home to have his lunch! We won that game 15-0!
Swerves007: Waving at my girlfriend, she arrived 10 minutes after kick-off, manager thought I was signalling to him to come off!!
Dave B: I got subbed off after being stung three times on the chest by a wasp.
Ryan: Unregistered player, manager sent me on at half-time, saying: 'Keep a low profile.' 20-minute hat- trick. Hauled off.
James Porter: Our keeper got subbed off with ten minutes to go after he lay down after conceding his 13th goal. We lost 15-0.
George: I got subbed on for a school match after our keeper got injured diving on some acorns. Quality pitch!
Adam Prior, Priority Allstars, High Wycombe: Was manager of a Sunday non-league team and we were playing our greatest rivals. I started as a sub and we're losing 1-0 nil with ten minutes to go. We got a corner and I brought myself on. I somehow managed to bundle the ball and goalkeeper into the net to much jubilation. Then to wind up the opposition I decided to sub myself! To much amusement from my team.
Wiltshire League Premier Division One club Shrewton United, on Twitter: In our reserve team a few years ago, a lad had to be subbed off at half-time to pick his dog up from the dog groomers.
Dave Featherstone: My central defensive partner went off after 70 minutes to go to a rave. 0-0 turned into 0-3!
Jack Finch: Came down in my lunch break, scored a goal to win us the game. Then back to work. "Is that mud in your ear Jack?"
