God bless this governor, he sure seems to be working and to know what he's doing. I think if the SW governors can get their acts together, we (the SW region) will eventually be alright and agriculturally self sustaining.

WOW....A Man of God in the making.

Watch out for the Name-Sunday Akanni. God bless you little brother, for saying YES to God and NO to Satan, Self, Sin and Sexual impurity.

My personal testimony: God made me this same offer, just as He makes to everyone who is truly attentive to Him. Sadly, I didn't take the offer as I have always had this stubborn, wayward streak in me. I am only just now learning to say 'Yes Lord'

Why is everywhere quiet. I feel so disappointed with some Yorubas that market Tinubu as the best they can offer. They have automatically de-marketed themselves as lacking in Presidential material, even when we know they have fantastic guys that are waaay qualified to make a refined and a president the reflects the future Nigerians are aspiring to have. Jokes apart, the North is playing a card on the Yoruba's head if they don't know. They know, and say it, that Yorubas supported Buhari thinking that he will die, so that they will take power. They want to give them the package in its real form and to avenge the Yaradua issue.

You people should drop this ego fight and get serious with what is facing us- saving Nigeria. I am sure, even the supporters of BAT know deep-down that he is a hard sale. Unfortunately, ethnic shells are covering our eyes, others think it is like being in ManU and other in Arsenal and you have to support your club no matter. Guys, this is a serious business, Nigeria is collapsing, and the architects of it's destruction are busy pumping their ego as the "owners of Nigeria". Be wise!
The only reason why I signed in to NL is just to like this guy's comment. Sound reasoning bros and you deserve a medal. Naija politics like life itself is a game. And you must play with superb strategies. Otherwise get ready to be a mere onlooker in life's game. Since we as a country have decided that we want to practice gerontocracy, I say let's all vote for Atiku. When the southerners get another good chance (we missed PYO), we want someone who is sound in faculties, mind and in body; someone with impeccable, undisputable academic qualifications and certificates. In the SW, we have them overflowing: PYO, Akinwumi Adesina, Fasola, Arakurin Aketi to name but a few.

Its either Hard Disk connector cable or hard drive. Cant say whether the spectre series connect via cable or directly to motherboard. If they connect directly to the board, then sorry your hard drive is kaput. And irs not an OS issue either.

#Storytime.
I Once went to the bank to pitch one of my products (a lean startup under Pantakers) to one of the popular Banks in Abuja, after talking about the partnership type and showing my prototypes and idea, carelessly the lady just looked straight at me and said.

"No1 I don't understand what you are talking about.

No2 you can have access to any facility either in loan or fund from the bank".

This statement almost killed me immediately, mhen entrepreneurs in Africa especially Nigeria are suffering oo, with tears in my eyes .
I left there knowing that God that gave me the idea will water it and those banks will one day come and beg to invest in my idea.
You can or can't?

People dying in custody is not particular to Nigerian police, u ppl should stop blowing things outta proportion.

RIP to the death

ur own mumu na follow come abi u inherit am? u see any part of my comment where I wished someone death?

I am saying dying in custody happens everywhere, it shouldn't give anyone an avenue to insult Nigeria, but ur IQ is lower than that of a termite so u won't understand my comment
Lots of people use expression(s) they don't know the meaning of. An example is this fellow I'm quoting here.

Oga to say that police brutallity is being blown out of proportion, is to be deliberately out pf touch with what's going on in Nigerian police stations.

As a matter of fact, police brutality in Nigeria is under-reported as so many people die in police custody that their people never even knew that they were arrested by these animals in black in the first place. A whole lot of pthers who can't afford lawyers to make loud noises for them just resign themselves to their fate and go bury their dead.

Your comment up there is very insensitive to the plights of this man's family and Nigerians in general. And its a bare faced falsehood .

Great read, op.

With the way the insurgency has gone down in the North East one can say that it is a war that has no end in sight, unfortunately.

One important thing I noticed from your narration too is that, the active security agencies in this war I.e the Army, Dss, Cjtf are not working in unison as each one had to verify your movements and reasons for the journey into biu, independently.

It's an operational flaw I think.

If government agencies cannot coordinate this war by working and sharing information effectively in synergy then I think it will definitely impede the process and eventual success in bringing an end to the insurgency.

God help Nigeria end this battle and war.
Great point made bro. The lack of cohension and a common front on the part of the security agent is a flaw and weakness that the enemy can capitalize upon.

Though to be sure, it is a common plight of security agents everywhere in the world. Each agency trying to outdo the other and catch something that a sister agency missed. Basically trying to justify the need for their own existence cheesy given the multi level duplication of duties.

Good for the joutnalists tho, that the DSS didn't see the need to 'pass' them down to the police. They wouldn't have been able to escape bailing themselves cool

Im guessing nothing really interesting abt the part leading up to their Biu detour. And nothing really interesting after it. Just boring and humdrum stuff.

As a matter of fact the writter demarketed Idanre hills to me in a few sentences grin. Just goes on to buoy my long held belief that most popular tourist attractions in Nigeria are overrated and totally not worth the bother. My humble opinion tho.

Very interesting read! Nice travel journalism, Witty sentences, nice prose. Very funny and hilarious scenes too. Like the part where Chris wanted to make the guys spend another night in a DSS cell all because of a piece of jewelry. LOL. NOT HAPPENING! I personally have always distrusted guys who wear chains, like one former Oyo state governor I'm not going to mention. grin cool

But a thoroughly engaging write up. I ended up suspending every other thing I was doing to read from a to zee. If this guy writes a book, damn sure I'm buying.

All the creative writing aside tho, its really sad to see what Boko Haram has reduced the country to. Really really sad. Used to be that u could just go anywhere in the county not too long ago. A toxic pervasive pseudo-religious idea changed all that. Tragic.

To all those complaining about the length of the article, remember that saying? The best place to hide a thing from a black man is inside a book cos he'd never open it. Who knows what fact/info u guys might have missed out on 'buried' inside this write-up?
