Felabrity:No be only Google. Tell me where Tinubu mentioned that Buhari was working against him and I would rest my case. His words could be referred to anyone. Look at the case of Wike and Atiku, that was a direct open war. Can you say the same in the case of Buhari and Tinubu ?. This is politics, the more you look, the less you see. |
Felabrity:Assumption by you. There is no evidence that Buhari is working against Tinubu. It is all delusions across board. If there is, show me one. |
djon78:Let me respond to the bolded one by one: 1. The western alliance is not up to 100 not to talk of over. That is a blantant exagerration by you. 2. Your strength as a Nation depends on the Quality of your friends on a global scale. The US invest heavily on its allies, and if attacked, all its allies will rise in unison to defend it. Russia too has alliance with countries like Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. 3. Proxy war is allowed. Russia used it against the US in Afghanisan. It is not a new thing. 4. The West do not want to crush Russia, but turn it into a pariah nation, which it is right now. The Westerner's soldiers and serious military assets are not involved. They are toying with Russia and making Russia to deplete its military resources. Do you know how many high grade military resources that Russia has wasted in Ukraine, to the point they have to be begging North Korea and Iran for help. 5. Despite high price of Crude oil last year, Russia economy still contracted by 2.1%. That is the result of the biting sanction. Russia is also forced to sell its oil on the cheap to India and China while spending heavily in the war. Russia is withering before our very eyes, Putin knows, and that is why he became reactionary by suspending START treaty with the US. 6. It is understandable for them to be careful. Russia is a nuclear armed nation. Russia too is careful by not striking any NATO land. When a missile landed in Poland, Russia quickly started explaining that it was not her that shot the missile; that was also being careful because as mad as Putin is, he would not want a direct conflict with NATO that is backed by the United States. Ps: NATO is not involved in the conflict. Just individual countries that make up NATO are donating firepower to Ukraine. |
Abrahamweb:How does the bolded actually made you look ? Are you proud of this behaviour of yours in a public domain over a matter that you are not even a stakeholder? |
There was nothing combative in the speech. It was subdued to say the least; a face saving speech. The arrogance of last one year has gone. The reality is staring Russia in the face. Lot of russia's resources - both human and materials - lost. To make matter worse, Putin is yet to deliver victory speech in Kyiv after one year, but all across the atlantic, President Biden made it to Kyiv. Truly, Ukraine stands. NATO Stands. Democracy wins. Russia lost., |
AbdulMagaji:He is tired as Russia is now reduced to a pariah state. Guy man is looking for a way to end this which has seriously depleted Russia resources and show Russia army as a third rate army im the world. |
belcom10:On what basis should oshiomole be arrested? When they arrest him, for which offence will they charge him with? Who will adjudicate on the matter? Oshiomole's speech was premised on the ex parte order of the supreme court, will the same court punish him? Have you even considered all these before you wrote what you put down here? At the bolded, do you still feel smart after this? |
byteem:Where are you guys learning all these lies?. Where did you find that ex parte order automatically vacates after 7 days, and it was so shocking you wrote it with such blatant audacity. Anyway, ex parte order does not expire until the court pronounces it to be so. |
Bluntemperor:Sitting resumes at the supreme court tomm. The FG is a defendant in the matter. The Supreme Court will ask the FG why it flouts its order. I can't wait for tomorrow to come. Drama in the court tomorrow. |
SLAP44:This is becoming a mess. I will be forced to refer you to go and read about "Government" as a subject in secondary school, starting from SS1 textbook. I'm sorry, it's quite difficult for me to start from the basics. |
SLAP44:Get educated on a matter beyond you. Go and read CBN Act, No. 7 of 2007 (Fed. Rep. of Nig. Official Gazette No.55 Vol. 94 of 1st June 2007), which grants the CBN full autonomy. The president and the legislature do NOT have the power to dictate monetary policies but the CBN is subjected to the Judiciary. I knew you heard an hearsay which you ignorantly spilled here. Was it you that gave the president the power to dictate monetary policies? The president cannot usurp the power of the Judiciary. There is nothing like the love for the Judiciary, it is the position of the law and the constitution which the president swore an oath to protect and defend. |
SLAP44:Do you even realize the three arms of Government (the Executives, the Judiciary and the Legislature) are coequal and one is not superior than the other. Each also has distinct function which cannot be interfered with by the other. The President lacks the constitutional authority to override the supreme court, especially in a case that is still subsisting. It is called CONTEMPT of the court. The supreme court judges will take a position on the president flagrant breach of the constitution tomorrow when the sitting resumes. Be as it may, the Supreme Court temporary injunction is the VALID one. Wait till someone sues the CBN and the FG in a class action. It is the court that will adjudicate on the matter and the CBN will be asked whose authority they rely on. The national address made by Buhari, who is the head of the executive arm of government here, is the one that is ILLEGAL in this case. |
Malory:Statement like this will make Obi to lose. Respect other people's vote. Do not coerce other Nigerians for voting who they deem fit. It is becoming unbecoming of you guys. Stop it ! |
AroleOduduwa2:It is not that straightforward. That your assertion was too simplistic. I'm politics, the more you look, the less you see. |
Ekejoestar:Lol. People will be shocked with the real result of the election. Most people that will vote are not here. They are in the rurals. Most people voting online do not have PVC. Those that do, will not come out but suddenly turn to emergency political analysts from the corner of their siting rooms. Anytime I remember the votes coming from Kaduna, Kano and Katsina, fear catches me They are many and die hard voters. The future of your candidates solely hinge on these states |
Felabrity:If APC, Labour or Pdp wins, you will still see the same set of people. Not particular to APC alone . We all know they are for any party in power |
cuteboy2:So, Mr. Historian, Nigerians never voted in Jonathan? Go and dust up your history book. Who knew Jonathan before he was brought in by Obasanjo and co. I repeat, Tinubu is not accountable to you or any Nigerians. He has no mandate. He didn't swear an oath. Channel your energy rightly. Wait till now till forever, he won't come out to address the nation. On whose authority will he do that. You are 🤣 |
cuteboy2:I am sorry but you are full of wild fantasy. You suggested election might not take place in Oyo and Ogun states. That is comedy. You didn't ever vote for Tinubu. He didn't Face your president. Others who contested with Buhari had others who bankrolled them Some people foisted Jonathan on us, we never killed them for it. It's a global practice to bankroll anyone during election. |
I am a Yoruba man. Afenifere only exists on paper. They do not have any foot soldiers. They are saying this to hoodwink peter obi to give them money. You might disagree as you please but come over to the south west to verify. |
cuteboy2:All over the world, people bankroll others for different political positions. How that person governs squarely rests with him. Tinubu did not swear an oath to protect and defend the constitution. Hold your president and CBN governor responsible. Tinubu is not accountable to Nigerians. You are misplacing your grievances , Mister. |
Malory:Be reasonable. Was Tinubu the person that formulated the policy?. People are frustrated not having access to their money. Did Tinubu incite them? Don't hide behind this crisis to further your candidate's dwindling political stock. |
Reinamaria:How do you read people's motive? I can tell you he is fighting for me because I need cash. I care less about the infighting among the political class Before Buhari, they were buying votes. After election, they will continue to buy votes. We are choosing the best among thieves. It is not like the policy and the election will produce Barrack Obama. |
valentineuwakwe:Hate el rufai or love him, no one can question his intelligence. Most of the people castigating him will be greatful if given a tiny portion of his knowledge . Dude is making sense with facts. |
2mercy:The SAN did not address a critical part of the argument. Can the President overrules the temporary injunction of a case that is still ongoing? This will determine what the people should do. The Supreme Court establishes that, for now, all old currency should still be in use, pending the hearing and the determination of the case. The President countered the Supreme Court by saying only N 200 was a legal tender. Does the President have the constitutional authority to overule the Supreme Court over a case that is still subsisting and that the FG is a defendant? Everything will come down to this. |
WHITELIGHTER:You have said nothing. Make an intellectual submission. Counter what I raised if you have tenable facts. It is that simple |
Life is strange. True true no permanent enemies in politics. It is obidients that are now cheering Buhari. Wonders can never end. |
chiefolododo:Be reasonable for once. You do not understand how the court works. The court always maintains status quo pending the determination of any case. That is why it is called TEMPORARY injuction. The court will take the final position pending the hearing and the determination of the case. The FG is a defendant in the case and the President lacks constitutional authority to override the decision of another arm of Govt. So, for once, try to be reasonable. Sit this matter out, it is beyond you. |
Hendrixky:Are you expecting him to say vote for APC when he is addressing the nation. This wont stop him from campaigning for Tinubu at campaign ground. As the president of the Nation, he would not say differently while addressing the whole Nation comprising of APC, PDP and Labour members. |
Ezeama400:Why must you accuse the president of everything?. CBN is an autonomous , independent body in charge of the monetary policy of the nation. The president has no control over the CBN Governor. The court should issue bench warrant for the CBN Governor and hold him for contempt of the court. |
Hello folks. Can someone in the know please help to list all the BASIC evidences that need to be taken to the embassy. Thanks as you are of assistance to others. |
