And the opponents are still careful because Russia is a nuclear power House. So they are very very cautious

Let me respond to the bolded one by one:

1. The western alliance is not up to 100 not to talk of over. That is a blantant exagerration by you.

2. Your strength as a Nation depends on the Quality of your friends on a global scale. The US invest heavily on its allies, and if attacked, all its allies will rise in unison to defend it. Russia too has alliance with countries like Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.

3. Proxy war is allowed. Russia used it against the US in Afghanisan. It is not a new thing.

4. The West do not want to crush Russia, but turn it into a pariah nation, which it is right now. The Westerner's soldiers and serious military assets are not involved. They are toying with Russia and making Russia to deplete its military resources. Do you know how many high grade military resources that Russia has wasted in Ukraine, to the point they have to be begging North Korea and Iran for help.

5. Despite high price of Crude oil last year, Russia economy still contracted by 2.1%. That is the result of the biting sanction. Russia is also forced to sell its oil on the cheap to India and China while spending heavily in the war. Russia is withering before our very eyes, Putin knows, and that is why he became reactionary by suspending START treaty with the US.

6. It is understandable for them to be careful. Russia is a nuclear armed nation. Russia too is careful by not striking any NATO land. When a missile landed in Poland, Russia quickly started explaining that it was not her that shot the missile; that was also being careful because as mad as Putin is, he would not want a direct conflict with NATO that is backed by the United States.

Ps: NATO is not involved in the conflict. Just individual countries that make up NATO are donating firepower to Ukraine.

There was nothing combative in the speech. It was subdued to say the least; a face saving speech.

The arrogance of last one year has gone. The reality is staring Russia in the face. Lot of russia's resources - both human and materials - lost.

To make matter worse, Putin is yet to deliver victory speech in Kyiv after one year, but all across the atlantic, President Biden made it to Kyiv.

Truly, Ukraine stands. NATO Stands. Democracy wins. Russia lost.,

What was your stand when this same president desecrated the legislative arm of government by hounding Judge Onoghen and removing him even as he had no powers to do that as the judiciary should have been a separate arm?

Why this sudden love for the judical arm of government against the executive in a pure executive policy as directed by a sitting president, I put it to you that it's because it will favour your corrupt politicians and so you want to select where to support the president against the judiciary and where to support the judiciary against the president.

Stop the confusion, the president has powers to introduce and implement state monetary policies because its within the jurisdiction of his own arm of the government. The judiciary can only do their checks and valances, but cannot direct the executive on what should be legal tender or what shouldn't.

Get educated on a matter beyond you. Go and read CBN Act, No. 7 of 2007 (Fed. Rep. of Nig. Official Gazette No.55 Vol. 94 of 1st June 2007), which grants the CBN full autonomy.

The president and the legislature do NOT have the power to dictate monetary policies but the CBN is subjected to the Judiciary.

I knew you heard an hearsay which you ignorantly spilled here. Was it you that gave the president the power to dictate monetary policies?

The president cannot usurp the power of the Judiciary. There is nothing like the love for the Judiciary, it is the position of the law and the constitution which the president swore an oath to protect and defend.

Obaseki, please have this criminal arrested for trying to form a parallel government where he instigates the masses against a federal policy as enunciated by the president himself through the CBN governor.

He had already instigated the masses to riot and burn bank buildings among other government properties in Edo state.

We cannot allow expired politicians set our cities ablaze and cause the deaths of our youths because of their selfish plans to use their stocked old notes to pay for rigging of this election.

Do you even realize the three arms of Government (the Executives, the Judiciary and the Legislature) are coequal and one is not superior than the other. Each also has distinct function which cannot be interfered with by the other.

The President lacks the constitutional authority to override the supreme court, especially in a case that is still subsisting. It is called CONTEMPT of the court. The supreme court judges will take a position on the president flagrant breach of the constitution tomorrow when the sitting resumes.

Be as it may, the Supreme Court temporary injunction is the VALID one. Wait till someone sues the CBN and the FG in a class action. It is the court that will adjudicate on the matter and the CBN will be asked whose authority they rely on.

The national address made by Buhari, who is the head of the executive arm of government here, is the one that is ILLEGAL in this case.

This will determine what the people should do.

The Supreme Court establishes that, for now, all old currency should still be in use, pending the hearing and the determination of the case. The President countered the Supreme Court by saying only N 200 was a legal tender. Does the President have the constitutional authority to overule the Supreme Court over a case that is still subsisting and that the FG is a defendant?

The FG is a defendant in the case and the President lacks constitutional authority to override the decision of another arm of Govt.

So, for once, try to be reasonable. Sit this matter out, it is beyond you.
