Governor Seyi Makinde brought a new dimension to the relationship between politics and the transport unions. He banned the NURTW and created the Oyo State Parks Management System (PMS).

The chairman of the Oyo State Parks Management System is Alhaji Lamidi Mukaila (aka Auxiliary). Auxiliary was a chieftain of the NURTW, but he fell out with others in the union and then Governor Makinde banned the union and made him the chairman of the Parks Management System. Auxiliary is also believed to be a political thug and an enforcer for the Oyo State Government.

Senator Teslim Folarin was a member of the PDP during the battle between Tokyo and Eleweomo, but he is now the APC candidate in the 2023 Oyo State governorship election.

At the Oyo State governorship debate, Teslim Folarin said that the creation of the Parks Management System was political and "even if you want to create such a committee, the person that they appointed as chairman is an ex-convict. What kind of message is the government trying to send by making an ex-convict the leader" ?

Governor Makinde responded to that allegation by saying, "The person that is calling someone an ex-convict, who killed Eleweomo and where's the file? It is still with me as governor of Oyo State. It is a criminal case, but I don't want to go into that now".

Teslim Folarin responded by saying, "Just because you are a governor does not give you the right to make irresponsible allegations.

If you are the governor of a state and you know who killed Eleweomo, then charge him to court. I don't think a governor should get involved in beer parlour politics".

Makinde interrupted him and said, "The file is with me".

Folarin replied, "Oya take it. Take it to court. Why haven't you taken it? I challenge you".

I do not like the duo but that was an irresponsible remark by the Governor. If the file was with you, why didn;t you do the needful? Why staying silent on you?

It was a very irresponsible allegation from the number 1 security officer of the state. You could not imply that Folarin killed Eleweomo without criminal charge. He did not even respond to the allegation of making a brutal ex convict to be the Chairman.

It is so unfortunate that both leading contestants are just empty heads.

Who told you Russia didn't make money from crude oil last year?! It is on record, if you care to look, that Russia has surplus from sales crude oil last year. Permit me to educate you. Ukraine does NOT need ICBM - Intercontinental Ballistic Missile to hit Russia. They are neighbors, they share borders. They are not in different continents. If North Korea wants to hit US, an ICBM will be required as they are in different continents. The word "Intercontinental" means different continents.

Ukraine only needs long range missiles e.g ATACMS.

The weapons that Ukraine is currently using are being supplied by the West under the condition that none of the equipment and munitions will be used to hit any part of Russia. Ukraine guarantees this condition.

America's soldiers boots were not on ground in Ukraine. President Biden has extremely limited security. He even rode 10-hours in a train to Kyiv without the Air Force one.

It is reasonable that if President Biden would be going into Kyiv under that circumstance, they had to inform the Russia that he would be coming in to prevent any accident. That was not seeking permission. If they were seeking permission, they would have informed the Russia far ahead and waited for clearance from the Russia.

The US only informed the Russian few hours before Biden departed the US. It was to NOTIFY, and NOT to seek permission, which was reasonable under such a condition.

Confronting Russia head one would be a bad idea for both parties — I mean the whole world. Anyone who's ready to outspend and hold onto this war the longest would win it. So let me help you. You are attempting to say the New naira note is targetted at Tinubu. You are wrong if that is your thinking. It affects ALL the candidates.
