They will weaken Russia's economy, in coordination with their EU allies, internally with sanctions. Amidst other sanctions, they will yank them off from SWIFT system. Russia economy will tank. There will be serious uproar in Russia against their Govt for fighting needless war. Some part of Russia might threaten to secede.

Dude has been measured in his statements and has never asked for what is not reasonable. He has avoided deploying near any of the western borders.., something he can easily do and the West will do little other than to impose sanctions..

You cannot easily move missiles into another sovereign states if you dont have proper understanding with such nation. US has been nice to the countries around them, with the exception of Cuba which they have issue with. The then Russia attempted to have a base in Cuba then and it would have resorted into nuclear war, before USSR backed out.

Putin's Russia is not nice to her neighbours and still expect them not to be aligned to western nations when it comes to protection. You cant have it both way.

Don't be deceived, Russia actually wanted to invade. They had done it before but the collective will of the West made them to tactically jettison the idea. Russia economy will take unprecedented hit which can lead to her citizens rising up against the Government for this needless war.

Technical schools and vocational centres should be open in most places by the government. Opening of new universities should be stopped and priorities given to technical and vocational schools.

I mean standard schools and if possible grants or loans with a flexible repayable plans given to graduand's of such institutions.

Even the kind of music being churned out in the country, encouraging people to be evil while the adults dance away to the song should stop. Imagine Olamide Badoo openly telling people in Portable's song to be WICKED, giving energy to criminals while our adults listen and dance to it. These little children are getting validation to commit crimes.

It's a big shame and our society is fast failing.,

According to the report the incident happened close to Testing ground police station. My question now is that where are the police officers on duty? Probably on sleeping mode.

The Head of Testing ground Police Command should be seriously queried. It was an insult to the entire police system that a robbery of that magnitude could take place less than 15 seconds to the Police Command in daytime!

Quite an unfortunate incident.

My concern is the Agodi Police Area Command is like 15 seconds (Yes! , seconds and not minute) to the Idi Ape, and it's expected that they should be alert at every seconds. They should have mobilised and engaged the daredevils in the day time. The robbers had effrontery to attack bullion van in the axis of a big Police area command, and even shooting sporadically in the air; they should have paid with their life. This can be compared to armed robbers attempting to attack a bullion van before the military barrack, it can only end one way!


I feel pained for the police officers that died in the line of duty and the civilians going about their normal life. May the robbers be caught and be punished for their actions.

After sending loads of applications for remote web dev positions throughout December without success I stopped applying and went into blockchain development. Last week I was replying a message on my LinkedIn account when I saw this jnr WordPress developer vacancy that popped up. I just applied since it takes less than a minute to do so on LinkedIn.

I was surprised when they sent me a mail two days later with a link to an assessment which I took and submitted. They got back to me some days later to fix an interview date, I choose Feb 9 among the listed options. The time options included 7pm, 7:15pm and 7:30pm and I chose the 1st option. The interview was supposed to last for just 15 minutes.

I left Chelsea's match that I was watching at half time to prepare for my interview. I asked one of my Nairaland friends for data and he sent me 3gb, I was all set up by 6:44 pm with a Bluetooth that I borrowed from a friend for the occasion. I didn't want any stories. If only I knew what was lying in wait for me....6:52 pm.....Boom!!! NEPA took light.

My laptop was fully charged but knowing fully well that my battery was not trustworthy, it would last 2 hours when it's in a good mood and 5 minutes on it's angry days. I grabbed my charger and extension and ran off to a nearby restaurant in my area. You think Usian Bolt can run baa? If you see my speed this evening you will like me. It was a combination of Bolt and Ben Johnson. I ran like a criminal that was escaping an angry mob about to lynch him, with the way I was grabbing my PC under my armpit I could easily be mistaken for a thief by the way.

I got there by 6:59 pm, plugged my stuffs and connected to the zoom call by 7: 02 pm, the beautiful oyinbo woman was already waiting. While she was in a well lit apartment, I was in a place with red and blue bulbs with my face barely visible even though I supported the light with my phone torch light flashing straight to my face.

She smiled immediately I came online, and murmured something, omo the Bluetooth was not connected o. Something I tested before connecting to the call, I was fumbling with my Bluetooth settings while she kept talking and gesticulating if I could hear her. The Bluetooth was connected to the system but was somehow not working, she saved me from my misery when she suggested we port to google meet for the interview.

I used the opportunity to check my Bluetooth settings well and connected to the call through a link she sent to my mail almost immediately. In the middle of the interview the restaurant gen went off throwing everywhere into darkness.... Omo!!!

I had to keep shining teeth and stretching my small eyes to its elastic limit because they were the only visible things from my end. She burst into laughter and I couldn't help but join her. It was as if she was in heaven calling someone in hell. I apologized and she told me not to worry that she understands amidst another bout of laughter that she was struggling to contain.

She shaa finished the interview with the normal I will get back to you after accessing the performance of other candidates, I still apologized for my interview settings hoping it won't affect my chances, she assured me that it won't have any bearing on her decision making as regards to selection of the successful candidate. She couldn't stop smiling throughout the interview that lasted for like 20 mins.

I packed my kaya and went home. I laughed my heart out while I narrated everything to my friend who rolled on the floor with laughter. The image of my eyes and teeth in darkness was so hilarious. This was actually my first interview and it will definitely live long in my memory.

] USA huge defence budget is because USA has presence in many countries. USA has 800 bases around the world and to maintain these bases as well as the troops on them, you need money. Electricity, food, vehicle maintainance, aircraft and ships. All military personnel are paid from that money. USA aircraft carriers require $60billion yearly just to maintain. Before we talk about, destroyers, submarines, and aircraft, you will see that the maintainance of these hardwares have taken a huge chunk of that money. There are private companies in Russia too. No big deal. USA with the best brains? Now don't be dumb. The man who researched USA's nuclear weapons isn't even an American. USA hired many nazi scientists after The USSR defeated Germany. Everyone knows this


The Chinese and Russians have never done anything that would make me think they would enslave us. Racism in Russia is extremely minimal compared to USA and Britain. Also, who colonized you and stole all your resources? Russia or the west?

Do you know why military bases matter ?. It is a game changer, thats why the Russians are complaining of NATO setting out bases around them. US has many instruments to deploy - military and sanctions. They are the richest countries on earth with solid allies. Be careful what you wish for. Go and check out the R & D budget of US military, you will faint. They keep on developing capabilities that cannot be matched. They are the United States of America for a reason...Be careful.

When USA was planning to invade Iraq, The United Kingdom and Germany greatly criticized the move. But they still ended up following them to the operation. Countries these days find it difficult to say no to the USA.

I thank God for countries like Russia Sha Russian nuclear warheads that are pointed at the USA are 1,600 as at 2015. They're the only country currently that can even bully USA not the other way ask yourselves why sleepy Joe completely ruled out sending the almighty USA troops to Ukraine. His generals must've warned him not to and I don't blame them. The only powerful weapons that USA can use now against Russia is sanctions. Though I love their courage, North Korea should relax with the boasting, they still have a long way to go.

1. China has not invaded Taiwan
2. Russia has not invaded Ukraine.

It is one thing for you to fire your missile, it is another ball game for it to get to the destination or land at your desired target. Dont ever undermine the United States. Her military is a beast. Go check their annual budget, russia and china combined never reach it. They have many undisclosed military capabilities that dwarf that of any nation.

If Russia wants to test US capabilities, let her invade any of the NATO member, you will see article 5 getting immediately triggered. Tell your darling China to invade Taiwan, then you will realise how lethal the United States can be.

More importantly they have allies that matter - NATO.
