Nigeria should stop all this nonsense where a party wins all Local Government elective positions; this applies to both PDP and APC. They have both mastered the art of making mockery of elections in Nigeria.

This comparison of Ronaldo and Messi has to stop. Even if Ronaldo wins all the medals that Messi won , Ronaldo will still be a distant second to Messi. There has never been a player like Messi (Pele and Maradonna inclusive)

Please I will like to ask if secondary schools in Nigeria have started 3rd term with their online classes. I spoke with my daughter's school and the principal said they have started 3rd term despite Federal Ministry of Education's directive to the contrary. The school is teaching 6 subjects as against 17 subjects they are meant to do. Worse still, the school has not concluded the second term examination, and they are already asking for 3rd term tuition fee. Does this make sense at all? Is that the generally acceptable norm in the country now?

This can only happen in Nigeria. Federal Ministry of Education released a circular that 3rd term has not and should not commence, still some schools ignored that by implementing a Mickey mouse online learning as the start of a third term.

Also, the fee for education is not realistic. Some private schools are 500% more expensive than some universities. We are getting to the tilting point, just because we measure quality of education how expensive a school tuition fee is.

People should stop talking from both sides of the mouth. The little diversification we had was due to Buhari govt. He banned some products from coming in as imports, rice inclusive, frozen foods inclusi etc. Till date our local rice farmers and poultry farmers are still enjoying. Almost all Nigerians were insulting him then. No support from the people he governs. Now, there is a major problem and Nigerians are saying he should have diversified. In this time of pandemics, this is the best time to win souls if a spiritual pronouncement can be made to stop this pandemic by any of the religious leaders. The world will believe in his God and religion. Churches and mosque should be go-to centres for people for spiritual healing, but they have all gone mute, even afraid of their own lives and families. It shows everything is a fraud. They claim to have the power of healing but we are all looking to the scientists to solve this global problems; one of them told me it was God that gave the scientists the knowledge to produce vaccine. I asked why God would abandon his direct constituencies (churches, mosques, shrines etc) and chose the scientists in their steads, it's simply not logical.

With no cushion, FG has no choice than to approach global lending institution to borrow, this comes with consequences.

IMF will give their conditions before they can release their funds, which we have no choice but to agree. IMF needs to see how the country intends to generate funds to pay her debt. You ask me why borrowing?. Well, if FG doesn't, salaries won't be paid, states won't get allocations etc. All the money that we saved in the past from oil, which we should be spending now has been looted, especially during Jonathan's era. Oshiomole led all the governor's then to loot the excess crude oil account. Now the consequences are here for us to deal with

This NLC are freaking alarmist. While we don't pray for jobs to be lost, the reality on ground is saying another thing. Our main means of earning foreign exchange is oil and it's selling lesser than the cost of production; this means we are selling at a loss. The money made when we sold barrel of oil more than we benchmarked has been looted during Jonathan's era; so we had no cushion at the moment. The FG needs to reposition it's workforce in a way that they will be productive. Most of the federal and state workers are just a drain on the system, earning salary with zero output.

You are the ignoramus who could not read between the lines. The clinical trials are not conclusive. It wont be till the end of June. Doctors even express safety concerns about its use. It just shows signs that it can slow down the virus but this has not been conclusively proven. It is in desperation that they are planning to send out the drugs. While the whole world needs a cure, we do not need to create more problems than we already have. They are asking for CLINICAL TRIAL DATA from these 43 countries because they know they are using the people in these countries more like guinea pigs to test the efficacy of the drug.

People are missing the point. This drug has not passed through normal clinical trial. Japan will use citizens in 43 countries as guinea pigs under the guise of donating unproven drug; the countries are expected to give Japan clinical trial data after use.. I'm in interested to know the 43 countries as I can bet it will be almost filled with African countries. All our useless professors in chemistry, pharmacy can't even attempt or pretend to be working on something in the lab, maybe we cash in too. Shame!
