LEGACY.
I beg, which useless legacy!
I remembered those years, he installed short pipes from tollgate to Iwo road and within a year, he could not maintain all those painted pipes he used to demarcate the highway.

He ensured no-traffic on highways during festive period but during his second term, trailers will develop fault and nobody attend to it for days.

Ajimobi second term was scam.

At the moment, l am happy how makinde is paying workers especially PENSIONERS. Thank you makinde. My parents told me not to send anything because MAKINDE is taking care of them. Sho
In a saner clime, paying salaries and pensioners is not counted as achievement. It is statutory.

Someone that fought a long standing war to stand still.

While you are blaming the president, reserve the larger blame for the supposedly "health practitioners and made-in-Nigeria scientists" who advised Mr President to extend due to their own greediness. Trust me, these advisers are making millions out of this self made pandemics. COvid-19 exists but it has been exaggerated in Nigeria to enrich some individuals. I am sure if greed of our professionals and politicians does not kill Nigeria, nothing can.

The truth , in as much as I'm tired of staying at home, the truth is the government still need to extend but the federal government if not careful might push the people to the end of the wall this time if no palliative measurement is not put in place for the warfare of the people not the audio aids.
There is a fundamental decay with Nigeria. No system or structure in place to disburse the palliatives even if the government is sincere (which they will never be) to disburse them. Data in Nigeria is cooked to advance political aspirations, sadly after this stuff passes, we will behave as if everything is okay, instead of addressing this major issue. So sad!
Christianity EtcRe: Chris Oyakhilome: Churches Are Not Places Of Infection But Places Of Blessings by MT:
Covid-19 has really exposed religions in Africa, especially in Nigeria. I'm not saying there is no God but most of these pastors are simply con artists, always manipulating the Bible to suit their greedy nature. We ought to be looking at them for spiritual solution to this pandemic, yet they are in turn looking at the scientists, waiting for vaccines - same scientists they mostly call Atheists. If you don't reevaluate your view of these pastors and imams after this pandemic, then nothing can ever make you to again.

Really appreciate sir.. Will act in accordance
@op look at this part of your code:

p.MdiParent = this;
nb.MdiParent = this;
vb.MdiParent = this;

What are you expecting "this" which represents the Main class to return. I suspect that is where the issue lies. I cannot see the full code as you only showed the partial class of main. Set breakpoints at those 3 points and run your code in debug mode. Then read what the "this" is spitting out, if it is null, then that might be the problem.

@supremotm I will look at how you can subscribe to the group. Meanwhile I am not an expert o, just a student trying to learn too.

Let's face it, his 3 years in office is the best Americans have had decades however you want to judge a president.

He is erratic: yet, ended the war in middle East. Calmed North Korea's tension. Having an Afghan Israeli peace talk before the break out. Revamped the economy. Strengthened the military.

Fought the establishment for the people. The only reason low-life Dems are having a Flickr of hope is due to the pandemic that has crippled the economy.

But Americans are smart people. Unlike Nigerians and Africans, the have memories and can think for themselves.

And for the record, Trump was not underrated in 2016. All the establishment fought him from the day he declared interested just as though the knew he was destined to win.
I beg to differ. Trump didnt end the war in the middle east, he rather inflamed it. Middle east is sitting on a keg of gun powder with his interventions in Iran. His policies rollback in the middle east even put the US at odds with her allies. He even abandoned US allies on the battlefield and opened them up to be slaughtered by Turkish troops. Trump made US to be an unreliable ally in war.

North Korea's tension is not calm. Infact, Kim tested missiles during this pandemic; North Korea has no respect for the US and they are just dilly dallying to wait till November and see the outcome of the election, inorder to see who he will negotiate with.

Yes, he revamped US economy to his credit but the manner at which that was done was bad. He kept on pushing for trade protectionism, America is losing its leadership position under Trump. Sadly for him, the only thing to point to was destroyed by Coronavirus.

So, it will be too close to call. Trust me, it will be...

so because Sanders call him the most dangerous president, then I he is?
Trump has always got battle in his hands, go and watch 2016 campaign.
Trump was highly underrated in 2016, this would be different. This election will be difficult to call. Most republicans just tolerate Trump because he is erratic and they try to dodge the flaks from him. He has set America back many years, he is a pathological liar and racist. It is dangerous for the world to have such a man at the helm of affairs in the US. The easy target for him now is WHO, he wont accept his own failure but rather choose to blame others. I am not saying Biden will win but Trump knows he has got a battle. Even, immediately Sanders called him the MOST DANGEROUS PRESIDENT in the history of the US, Trump quickly tweeted to Sander for his support. He knows he is in for a fight....
Foreign AffairsRe: Bernie Sanders Drops Out Of The Presidential Race by MT: 5:05pm On Apr 08, 2020
Bernie Sanders just called Trump the MOST DANGEROUS PRESIDENT in the history of the US. He has promised to continue working to defeat Trump. Trump has got a battle in his hands. I hope he loses...I really do. Why Africans will be supporting Trump is beyond me.

Ferrari is an OBJECT REFERENCE variable not an OBJECT itself, and Ferrari will be stored on the stack like every other value type (all the primitive types apart from String are value types). Objects are stored on the Heap.
Oh yes you are right. I missed the "reference" word cos I was typing on the move. You did a good job by actually implementing it.

Bro I'm not here to argue just want to help out.

The question you should ask yourself is what is an object?
By then you will realize we are saying the same thing .

The data I used as example is and object. The table you're inserting into is also an object.
So if the two do not match such exception will come up.

I have experience such exception in different project.

I'm only here to learn and help .
Thank you .
I'm just trying to help too. We are not actually saying the same thing if you look at it carefully. What we are saying is different. Your scenario can't throw up null exception. Look at it carefully. How a class can hold a table is beyond me. In a code first approach, a class doesn't hold the table. The dbcontext in an ef will create and manipulate the table stated inside the class. I only tried to explain the ONLY valid way nullexception can be thrown. Do a bit of research on it and you will agree with me. We are all here to learn.
ProgrammingRe: Null Reference Exception Object Reference Not Set To An Instance Of An Object In by MT: 6:43pm On Apr 07, 2020
Thenaijaitguy:
From my experience another thing that can cause it if you're mapping two things that do
not match together .

For example insert data with four values into a table that can only take two values.

So share more info about your project.
This can never throw up such an error. There is just ONE way this can happen. One, either you don't properly initialise an object. Like I stated above, if you have this kind of class:

Public car {

Public void move ()
{
// Write your code for move method
}
} // End of class

You now initialise the object like:

Car ferari {get; set;}

Ferari is now an object of the class. If you now do this:

Ferari.Move() //this will throw nullexception error because ferari is not properly initialised, which means it is holding null value.

Another way is if you assign the class properly but what you assign the object to is returning null value e.g

Car ferari = processsomething();

If processsomething() method return null value and you still try to do this:

Ferari.move(); //it will throw nullexception.

Generally, you can not access the property or method of an object holding a null value ,it will throw up nullexception error.

The op should runhis code in a debugger and check for null. Always try and check for null before you carry out an operation on an object, it will save a lot of headache. Sorry for any error, i wrote this on the move
ProgrammingRe: Null Reference Exception Object Reference Not Set To An Instance Of An Object In by MT:
I assumed you are using C#. What that means is you didn't instantiate the object. For instance , let's say you have a class named Car. If you only create the object this way: Car Ferrari {get; set} . This will create object Ferrari but nullreferenceexception error will be thrown because you haven't assigned a value to the object. You can assign a value to your object through the constructor of your class and the error will disappear. If you need further help, ask.

This was d same man that launched nylon cover for bike riders calling it innovation whilst some came online to praise d move.

Same person that appointed an SA who's now fixing bill boards across d state capital showing off he's now an SA.
Abi, with his 50b declared networth, can't he personally help feed d poor during lockdown and call billionaires like him in d state instead of allowing people to move around with just masks.
I won't blame him, he has a team he gives instructions to rather than a team that can come up with ideas running d state.
Thank you. I detest Ajimobi with a passion but this current governor is poor in administration but effective in social media hype. I was shocked to see Taye currency billboards as SA on culture and tourism littering the roads in Oyo State. And he appointed his very own wife (the governor's wife) to head SACA. I give up on him already. Sadly people outside Oyo State won't know this.

PoliticsWhy Is The FG And State Govt Not Following W.H.O Advice On Coronavirus by MT(op): 11:08pm On Mar 29, 2020
The W.H.O advised every nation to test, test and test their citizens for coronavirus. Having listened to the state governor's speeches and the president's speech, nothing was really said about this. They were all quick to close their respective state's borders without any palliatives for the citizens. I feel they all want to appear to us like they are working without any coordination. I could be wrong but what is your take on this?
PoliticsRe: Print More Naira Notes - Tinubu Tells FG by MT: 2:27pm On Mar 29, 2020
Niggmatic:
The truth is that USA did not force anyone to use her currency. Dollar is not a currency that requires permission of other countries before it can be printed. It US currency and it it's subject to whatever Federal Reserve want it to be subjected to. It's their property and rightly so.

Of course, it is to their advantage that the entire world is using their currency. But it doesn't mean that they are creating artificial wealth. No country would dare throw away economic principles and laws without facing the consequences sooner or later.
Thank you. I love the statement that "it is to their advantage that world is using dollar as a world reserve". I found your submission helpful and conclusive. I learnt a lot from this thread. @Excuzeme, thanks too.
PoliticsRe: Print More Naira Notes - Tinubu Tells FG by MT: 1:51pm On Mar 29, 2020
Niggmatic:
USA don't actually print money indiscriminately. Forget the alarmist. Every economy is guided by the same principles. Although there are some things they do and get away with, that does not mean that they can just do anyhow. Every economy is vulnerable irrespective of how strong it looks. So countries are forced to abide by basic economic principles. Don't just believe everything some media are shunning out.

To add more. You know about inflation and deflation? As long as dollar remains global currency, USA will keep printing money more than any other country for a reason.
Thanks for your comment but should the US print a dollar note at all without the necessary approval. Yes they create wealth but still create artificial wealth by printing money. I'm not an economist but this doesn't make sense to me.
PoliticsRe: Print More Naira Notes - Tinubu Tells FG by MT: 12:16pm On Mar 29, 2020
Niggmatic:
Because there's unlimited demand for dollar. While other currencies were depreciating at over 10 percent some as low as 30, dollar appreciated by whooping 5 percent. That's the power of being an economic power house of the world.
You don't get my question. I know if Nigeria prints more money, it will lead to an inflation. That's settled. I'm trying to understand the principle behind US printing more money to bail themselves out. Is it legal? Do all the global financial institution approves of it? Why does US accuse China of manipulating currency whereas they print theirs as they wish?. I don't want to just accept that it's because dollar is the world's reserved currency. What that means is if I work hard in Germany to build a car and I export it to the US, the US can just print money to settle me. Does that make sense? Will the world at large approve that?

What I'm asking is deeper than the topic of this thread.
