Why are you SE guys afraid of competition? Peugeot Assembly Plant was established in the 1970s, that's more than 3 decades before innoson. Ironically even the SE state govts & people do not all patronize innoson - they seem to prefer the Toyotas, Kia, bmws,volvos. The effort to revive Pan should be seen as part of the plan to revamp local industries. Nigeria needs not only innoson but also Pan and many more local industries.

Even in our own climate sometimes it is unnecessary using the AC like when the trip is short. What's the point turning on the AC if your trip is just 20 minutes and you are going to spend hours outside in the daytime heat?

The writer is saying close the windows when travelling or moving very fast and don't use AC if it isn't hot (even here in nigeria the weather is sometimes cool especially early morning, nighttime and rainy seasons) . Simple and straightforward, but you probably read only the headings!

This despicable act of inhumanity was perpetuated by christians in a largely christian community. Three billion dollars was NEVER spent on oil exploration in the north, rather the money was pocketed by a few people in the name of oil exploration. The idea of oil exploration in the lake Chad basin is technically sound because all the countries in the region have discovered oil in their area. So Nigeria stand a high chance of finding oil there.

I don't think there's any country in the world where a person facing such criminal charges will be allowed to remain in any top political office. Nigeria shouldn't be the dubious exception. Senate presidency isn't Saraki's birth right. Let the guy resign honourably or be removed dishonourably.

Btw, cattle rearing is more profitable and contributes more to the economy compared to selling okrika or the scrap they call spare parts.
