Ibori has been convicted and is paying the price for his crime of looting Delta state. Ironically, his comrade in stealing Bukola Saraki got away clean and is scheming to be vice president of nigeria and even president. Bukola saraki's huge haul from looting of Societe General bank and massive 8-year siege on kwara state treasury probably exceed what Ibori stole from Delta. But crafty Bukola is walking about scot-free until a few weeks ago when he made the political miscalculation of aligning with the new PDP and Gej set effc after him. A crafty crook, Bukola is likely to weather this storm - after his present bravado he will go into secret deal with Gej and the effc will be instructed to let him be.

The casualty figure of the dead is certainly an understatement . These clashes are likely to happen again and again as long as you have large numbers of jobless youth lounging about doing nothing and political leaders are only interested in misappropriating public funds.

You are assuming that christian north will all vote for Gej. That's illusion. People who voted on religious sentiments in 2011 and got nothing cannot be fooled twice.

People vote for the candidates, not party. Dont deceive yourself in kano if pdp presents a popular candidate for governorship people will vote for him - but the same electorate will not vote for Gej if he is the pdp presidential candidate. This will be the scenario throughout the north.

Some errors come from mispronunciation -
"expantiate"(wrong) for expatiate (pronounced ix-pe- shi-et)- note that correct spelling has no "n";
sometimes "bother on"(wrong) is used instead of border on;
cause(pronounced coz) is often confused with course (pronounced cos);
Even "pronunciation" is apt to be mispronounced and consequently misspelt.
Why do we mispronounce simple words like "labour" (most people say le-boh (wrong) instead of lei-ba); doctor(correct pronunciation is dok-ta, not dok-toh)?

Armed robbery and kidnapping are the greatest security threats in the country today - not boko haram. The reason is that boko haram never had support on the ground, but in the SE and SS armed robberies and kidnappings are regarded as business ventures - if you engage in them and you succeed you're celebrated by your community as successful. As long as we have unserious, corrupt, self-serving leaders nothing will be done to stop this.

Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa was an excellent public speaker - probably the finest public figure with the best command of spoken English Nigeria has produced even to this day. And he was a stammerer -but overcame it. I understand that he got over it by speaking gently (not shouting as most nigerians do) and confidently. This quintessential gentleman was the first head of state ever to address the United Nations without a written script. He was to be christened the Golden Voice of Africa. He is resting in peace now - an honest, God-fearing leader.

Ribadu is right. Doubtless, Ibori stole billions as governor of Delta state. His thieving lasted 8 years but some people entrenched in the system have been stealing billions for longer period.
Farida Waziri is also right that ibori wasn't the person that influenced her appointment as effcc chair. Actually it was the Sarakis who planted her at effcc. Bukola saraki and james ibori are close friends though- birds of a feather... Waziri never disappointed the Sarakis throughout her tenure- all the petitions against Bukola Saraki were literally thrown into the dust bin when she was in office despite the overwhelming evidence adduced including documentary. Coincidence or no, the question is, should saraki alone be entitled to have 8 policeman hanging around him as well as 2 SS operatives? Today, there is no place in SE & SS that's safe but in contrast maiduguri and indeed NE is doing better.
