Science/Technology › Re: See What Will Now Be Used To Cure HIV by mu2sa2: 9:56pm On Sep 01, 2013
More than 1400 years ago God Almighty revealed to mankind that what comes from the belly of bees has healing properties. Note that this revelation came over 1400 years ago. This is one of the signs God has revealed in His infallible Word the Quran for people who reflect. These are the awe-inspiring words of Quran 16:68-69 -
" And your Lord inspired the bee:
Take your habitations in mountains and trees,
and in (the hives) they build for you.

Then eat from all the fruits, following
the design of your Lord, precisely.
From their bellies comes a drink
of different colours, wherein there is
healing for the people. Verily, in this is
a sign for people who think."
God is Great.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Do You Pray For Your Club? by mu2sa2: 8:14pm On Sep 01, 2013
@post are you saying your club won those matches because you prayed? Supposing you did not pray are you saying Arsenal wouldn't have won those matches? These days some people assume holier-than-thou attitude about themselves - but even the ones who claim to be healing people and casting out demons go for periodic medical check-up! Whither naija with 419ners!!!

Phones › Re: 23 Signs You’re Addicted To Your Smartphone by mu2sa2: 2:51pm On Sep 01, 2013
You can cure your addiction easily. Just switch off the phone at 8pm on the dot every day. Switch on at 6am the following day. That's 10 hours of your life you've snatched back from the phone. If you feel you still need to take back more hours switch off at a particular time and back on at an exact time - eg 10-12; 2-4pm. Maintain the times religiously and you'll get used to doing it mechanically. Dont let phone rule and ruin you; your life is more important than phone.
Politics › Re: APC Coast To Landslide Victory In Offa Re-run Poll by mu2sa2:
Kwara state govt made a "mistake" in the past by declaring the opposition as winner of Offa LG poll. They have corrected that mistake by declaring PDP chairmanship candidate as winner of yesterday's election even though APC candidate got more votes! Not surprised, since Bukola Saraki(de facto gov of kwara) planted Ajidagba, fellow hypocrite ilorin, to head KWSIEC.

Baybe: This abortion isssue is a very complicated one.

Those against abortion, what if the mother's life is in danger. Should she keep the baby and die?
It's a moral dilemma. The mother dies and the baby dies.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Obama Seeks Congress Approval To Strike Syria by mu2sa2: 10:41am On Sep 01, 2013
So if Assad forces used chemical weapons against civilians, the US has the right to bomb Syria and kill more innocent people? This wicked world! Who bails out the weak?
Politics › Re: Clark Should Retire From Politics, Not Me — Obasanjo by mu2sa2: 8:28am On Sep 01, 2013
Both Obj and Clark are self-serving politicians with do-or-die attitude to power. For these greedy men, until death do them part with politics.

David Mark has never been cited by Christian priests for polygamy extraordinaire. Has he "shut their mouth"?

Politics › Re: Suntai, Deputy Claim Taraba Governorship Seat by mu2sa2:
The Suntai i saw on tv does not appear fit health wise. But the political jobbers who will lose out in Suntai's absence are just scheming to remain relevant- typical of naija politicians, because political office is their lifeline as otherwise they're jobless. Suntai has become a pawn in the vicious power struggle in Taraba. He must watch it as his condition may deteriorate rendering even incapable of stage- managing a video recording as he has just done (why didn't he just make a live broadcast?)
Politics › Re: Zamfara Has 1 Million Out-of-School Children by mu2sa2:
Zamfara state is being honest with itself. Truth is, across the country politicians are paying lip service to education - just look at the % of the budget allocated to education by both federal and states. In all the states large nos of children are not going to school and politicians dont give a damn. Sooner than later they all will reap the consequences of having an uncontrollable army of ne'er-do-wells - talk about armed robbers, kidnappers, boko haram of various hues, oil pipeline vandals, thugs, area boys, burglars, hired/unhired killers etc. Let these thieving politicians know that in or out of office they and their children will not escape the inevitable- nemesis catches up ultimately with evildoers.
Politics › Re: Festus Odimegwu Denies Suspension Rumors by mu2sa2: 4:01pm On Aug 28, 2013
AnanseK: Yes, courageous men like Kwankwaso to tell the President that this is unacceptable. It's a mistake to appoint such a narrow minded bigot into a sensitive public position.
Odimegwu has dismissed all previous census. The census of 2006 was conducted under Mr sumaila Danko, a highly respected technocrat and christian gentleman. That census was widely acclaimed even by UN. Odimegwu, speaking under the influence of alcohol, condemns everything done in the past and even the one he himself hope to conduct in 2016! Mr Danko conducted the 2006 census with 38 billion naira but this drunkard is asking for 260 billion to conduct 2016 census. Thief, armed robber. Anyway, this is naija anything goes- he is working for his brother drunkard who has put him there.
Politics › Re: Festus Odimegwu Denies Suspension Rumors by mu2sa2: 9:47am On Aug 28, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: My advice to Odimegwu is that he should talk less and work more. If he feels strongly about some issues he can let it out through proxies. The NPC is a very sensitive institution.
Kwankwaso says the man is a drunkard. That is not denied. When a man drinks he opens his mouth and talk rubbish.

It is also permissible to keep dogs as a necessity e.g by a blind person, as guide; by a hunter, as a means of earning his livelihood.Allah is merciful towards us and there's always exception when necessity is involved. Allah knows best.

Politics › Re: Press Release On Boko-Haram By US Dept Of State by mu2sa2: 11:48am On Aug 27, 2013
PapaBrowne: This is nonsense!
The US has no business making these kinds of comments when it has it's hands dirty in virtually every resource rich country in the world. They should go and deal with their issues in Syria and ask thier rebels to stop using nerve gas on humans before speaking of Nigeria.

What kind of press release is this. If you read between the lines, you will discover that they are more concerned about the civilian JTF than about Boko Haram. Condemning the killings by Boko Haram is alright if you release press statements everytime there is a bomb blast and not only when you feel there is extra judicial execution by either the military or civilian JTF.

I am never in support of extra judicial killings because many innocent people would be falsely accused and two because life is precious and any act that seeks to negate that principle always comes back to hunt society.
Now that notwithstanding, the Boko Haram sect deserves nothing less than to hasten up and go to paradise to receive their reward in the deepest place of hell where 72 demon virgins would be waiting with hot iron rods to defile their shithole. They don't deserve to reside on planet earth.

These Americans should back off except they want to support with technology and resources. We don't need all these kinds of press statements that tacitly seek to equate the actions of the military with that of the insurgents. Boko Harm has been greatly decapitated largely on the back of the Civilian JTF, not because of the killings of Boko Harm members but because the minds of the youths have been turned against the Boko Haram. Terrorism is an ideological war and if you can win the minds of the locals, you've won the battle. That is something the Americans have failed to do in their 13 years of war on terror.
So US should come and fight boko haram while Gej "jollificate" with one trillion defence budget. Your lengthy post is pointless.

Gboliwe: Imagine! The students go to school free of charge on fg expense, then the parents are also paid! Can you imagine?! I also live in the same state but I am from Delta state, to go to school, I pay my way through, my parents see to this. Yet we are both Nigerian students. Too much injustice
where is the injustice here? Borno state is using its resources to reorganize its educational system and u're bringing in delta state. These children come from poor families and kudos should go to Borno state government for this scholarship scheme. This laudable scheme ought to be in place in every state.

nerodenero: Day-by-day, Education is getting extremely unattractive in the country. Why go to University when one will end-up washing cars? Anyway, I like these guys courage and I commend them for this. The Federal Government needs to redirect her effort towards creating job opportunities for Nigerians. A stitch in time saves nine.
Car-wash biz as a self-employed and employer of other people is far better than many office jobs in terms of income and job satisfaction. A degree is meant to prepare you to face challenges. If you fail to face the challenge of joblessness by finding something to do for a living your degree and CV are worthless.

Bismarck10: I am an ABU student(not from his department anyway). This man won the VC election 2 years back and he was denied. The emir never knew God has something grand in store for him. This is a lesson for those who discriminate on the ground of anything.
Look at it this way: God did not want his talent to waste that's why God denied him the VC office. These days it's lazy academics that lobby to be made VCs. Once they get the appointment they turn vicious, greedy, corrupt and say bye-bye to academic work.
If Prof Nok had been appointed VC I am pretty sure he would never have made this achievement. The lesson for all of us is that we should strive for excellence in our various endeavours rather than hanker after vanities.

Exploitation of the weak by the strong, of the have-nots by those who have, of the ruled by the rulers - that's the order today in nigeria. Ordinarily the sadists in Access bank should have been sanctioned by govt for such exploitative tendency but alas! the Gej-led FG itself commits worse atrocities against the masses to even see this as wrong. Who will bail out the masses in nigeria?
