Politics › Re: Boko-Haram Kill 13 Persons In Borno by mu2sa2: 1:57pm On Jun 09, 2013
really mods??

The first sentence says "suspected gun men"

How did you come to conclusion its BH for the caption?
There are so many armed men in Maiduguri now it's difficult to know who's doing the killing - security forces, boko haram, vigilantes, all killing. The irony is that they all claiming to be in the right. The ordinary people are really at the mercy of these bloodthirsty gangs.
Politics › Re: A 1988 NY Times Report On Nigeria's Quota System by mu2sa2:
This report is biased. The quota system is not just for hausa/fulani- it benefits everybody, north to south, east to west. Its aim is to avoid a situation where Unity Schools end up with students from just a section of the country, thus destroying the purpose of establishing the schools in the first place - bringing together children from all parts of the country to promote national unity.
The policy does benefit all- check out Bayelsa; and mark you North is not hausa/fulani only or entirely muslim.
Politics › Re: More Evidence On Sanusi's Mistress Scandal - Sahara Reporters by mu2sa2:
harazeem: Every human has his strong and week points. Sunusi dared the biggest Nigerian thieves ie BANK CEOs who hetherto no one believed they will fall like a hall of cards.Nairalanders do you know how SAHARA REPORTERS AND PREMIUM TIMES fund their operations? Please take time to read this attachment its quite revealing; http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/nuj-alerts-on-blackmail-extortion-by-quack-journalists/148376/
Don't mind them. Beneath all the rubbish they are saying about SLS is a deep hatred of the man. If the report had been about Gej the same people would dismiss it as fabrication by Sahara Reporter.
Like him or hate him at home, SLS is recognized internationally as a quintessential banker who saved the nigerian banking sector from collapse.
Thank God SLS is such a highly cultured person and would surely give this screwed report a most-deserved response - ignoring it. That is the best "response" to tribalists and fake religious fanatics.
SLS, God has blessed you -your haters can go to hell.
Politics › Re: Jonathan’s Approval Needed To Demolish Amigo Supermarket by mu2sa2: 3:16pm On Jun 08, 2013
Gej should not lend his name to an irresponsible act: Nothing justifies the destruction of such sprawling N5b real estate. The property can be converted to legitimate use.
Politics › Re: Sani Abacha - 15 Years After by mu2sa2: 12:01pm On Jun 08, 2013
The most patriotic pan-nigerian leader we`ve ever had. Very decisive, firm and resolute - every inch the kind of no nonsence leader nigeria deserve. Needless to say God was with him and took care of his enemies - Kudirat, diya and other tribalists and fake democrats. He was corrupt? Nonsense, infact he is a saint compared to the rogues in power now.

Assuming they heed Massob's call who's loss? Why should anybody even listen to lawless Massob in the first place? They should just ignore these activists by day and armed robbers by night ne'er-do-wells.

Politics › Re: Akande, El-rufai May Head APC Interim Leadership by mu2sa2: 7:42pm On Jun 05, 2013
A solid opposition is good for deepening democracy. Without a formidable alternative party nigeria risks becoming a one-party state.
Politics › Re: Reps Move To Simplify Impeachment Of President by mu2sa2: 7:54pm On Jun 04, 2013
valicious1: the problem is that GEJ is too straight and clean for them so they re really seriously searching for loopholes to squeeze money out. The lawmakers don't like this.
Straight and clean ke. A typical politician concealing his wealth and telling the people to go to hell about it can't be straight and clean.

Zakkyoz: keep quiet bros. Can you tell us the difference between terrorism(boko haram inclusive) and islam? They said they're fighting for allah. Remember they worship in the same mosque like you. I really not intend to offend you but the realities are glaring. If boko boys are not muslims, then who are they? Are they christians or atheists??
So because armed robbers, kidnappers, hired killers join you on Sunday worship, that makes you and those with you armed robbers, kidnappers, hired killers. Use ur brain to think.
Politics › Re: JTF Arrest Boko-Haram Members In Search Of Food by mu2sa2: 7:34am On Jun 01, 2013
boron10: JTF nor dey keep quiet? Must they disclose everything to the public? Now the civilians in that community are at risk of getting attacked by boko haram. This is why they fail to cooperate.

May God help us
Their thoughtless propaganda is counter-productive. How would picking people and labelling them help JTF?
Politics › Re: Women & Juvenile Boko-Haram Suspects Released by mu2sa2:
Sincere 9gerian: I hope this good gesture from the FG will confirm to the locals that their real enemy is Boko Haram not GEJ. Those suspects were released in the spirit of reconciliation, to win the hearts of the locals and to further isolate unrepentant islamists. I just hope the govt can generate enough local media propaganda around this release and leverage as much as possible.

In the end, it is impossible to kill every Boko Haram member. It is the carrot and stick approach that will bring a quick end to the crisis.
At the same time, Gej must be held responsible in respect of those who were unjustly detained or in flagrant violation of the constitution. Gani Fawehinmi is no more with us to take up the case of these poor women and under-aged kids who were clamped into squalid conditions for months without being charged to court , but other peoples lawyers can take up this case . This inhuman and illegal act of deliberate violation of the constitution must not be allowed to be brushed under the carpet. Those who committed this evil act will pay for it in or out of office. If a person commits an offence he should answer for it, but not his kids, wife or sister or mother.
These people shouldn't have been detained at all, but under an incompetent govt and phony democracy incongruities will be the order of the day. Even Americans with all their anti- Taliban stance did not degenerate to officially kidnapping innocent women relatives and kid children of their arch-enemies in Afghanistan.
Food › Re: Adulteration Of Food Items In Nigerian Markets by mu2sa2:
This is the secret about egusi: Buy it unshelled, break the shell yourself by hand and grind. Don't buy shelled or ground egusi, it may taste un-egusi. They now break the shell by putting wetted egusi in a sack and hitting the sack on a hard surface repeatedly. This process breaks the shell faster but turn the egusi brownish. To remove the discolouration, the egusi is "washed" in soapy water. Any egusi processed this way will have a bland taste - the ones sold in the market are almost all this type.
Just take a few moment to break the shell one by one by hand with your family and have your natural-tasting egusi.

Politics › Re: Hezbollah Terror Cell Uncovered In Kano by mu2sa2: 10:07am On May 31, 2013
This report is tendentious and heavily embellished. They are trying to link so-called nigerian shiites to this arm cache, especially El-zakzaky. But this man, who's based in Zaria, has been around doing his preachings since the 1980s. Of course he is a fiery speaker but that is it with him- not a violent man.But it seems they are now trying to rope him possibly on the behest of Isrealis, who fear the spread of so-called radical Islam in nigeria.
Lest we forget this is exactly how they engineered boko haram issue and the thing spiralled out of control.
Politics › Re: Abuja’s Amigo Supermarket Owner Linked To Terrorism by mu2sa2: 9:44am On May 31, 2013
His motive for keeping the arms was not disclosed. But Lebanese and Indians are known worldwide for their crookedness and underhand deals. Here in Nigeria many Lebanese are well-connected to the powers that be. In fact, one contested PDP primaries for a senate seat in kano but lost. Across the country many lebanese constuction companies are doing deals with politicians helping to launder money. So no one should be surprised if this guy goes scot-free; maybe he is even now a "guest" of a powerful politician. The lebanese of course are Arab but they have christians and muslims among them - this they use to advantage in Nigeria. A poster said he hates Arabs, maybe on grounds of religious bias, but will he hate a fellow christian who's his church member, financially strong, just because he is Arab?
Politics › Re: Judge Withdraws From Al-mustapha’s Case Citing 'Personal Reasons' by mu2sa2: 8:02pm On May 30, 2013
Suks: i really dnt understand u ......

it would be very myopic of u to consider dis a tribal issue; the man killed someone.......defence said, he is only a tool in the hands of abacha; prosecution said he has a mind of his own...the case drags on and on for 15 years simply because no judge get mind to pass a judgement dat we all know is right...
where is the trace of bigoted yoruba bias in dat....bdw cos the court is in lagos does not mean the judge is yoruba oooo

people like u are so myopic dat it hurts; one thing happen....u don dey talk tribe....
He killed somebody - were u an eye witness? Look, sgt Rogers who was said to have implicated al-mustafa in his statement denied that statement in open court. No hard evidence against him. Yet the malleable judge, an obvious tool in the hands of tribal bigots, still convicted him! This gentleman has been persecuted for too long - only a wicked person will speak against his immediate discharge.
Politics › Re: Who Is The Smartest Governor In Nigeria? by mu2sa2: 6:33pm On May 30, 2013
Elmos: I don't like his way of administration, I left his party, but as a smartest governor politically, he takes the lead, his name is ABDULRAHAMAN MIMIKO of State of Ondo. When he first presented himself for office back in the days, he was told that they needed a responsible man, that is a married man, and then he was not married, the discussion was on a Monday, and on Wednesday, he was at the meeting again with his wedding certificate, smartness number 1. Segun Adegoke was nominated to be the Governorship candidate of AD in Ondo state in 1999, but being an Ondo Man like Adegoke, he knows once Adegoke becomes a Governor he will never be again, courtesy of Senatorial rotation, he pitched ADEGOKE and Against the party leadership while he was sponsoring ADEFARATI (He sold his father's house in Yaba in Ondo town) became the most powerful cabinet member of ADEFARATI government.Smartness number 2. He was known and Address as Rahman Mimiko, but knows that Ondo will never vote for a Muslim as their Governor he changed faith and remove Rahaman and replaced it with Olusegun. Smartness number 3. He played TINUMBU and OBASANJO, and got the support of both enemies and much more.
So Mimiko "changed" his religion for the sole reason that he wanted to be governor? In less than 4 years when his tenure ends, what will he do? The church he is attending now had better prepare for a bombshell from this self-serving opportunist.

CAMEROONPRIDE: One word: Islam
This guy converted to Islam for years and led a normal life. Then Kenyan police who are not muslims (u sure know their religion) humiliated him so badly and British secret service (not muslims) hav continually been harassing and tormenting him psychologically and physically. Why blame islam? Tens of thousands are converting to Islam and living in peace with themselves and everybody -this campaign of calumny will not stop it.
Politics › Re: Judge Withdraws From Al-mustapha’s Case Citing 'Personal Reasons' by mu2sa2: 3:07pm On May 30, 2013
Built2last: i've kept asking myself what did Al-mustapha do that is worse than the looting and embezzlement going on in present day governance. they should decide on his case or let this young guy be for heaven's sake. Harry Marshal was assasinated, Bola Ige was assasinated and many others. where are their killers? The whole thing appears to be more political than justice.
Absolutely. There's even ethnic twist to the travail of al-mustapha. Anyone who's been following his case will know that there is no way he could have got justice in a Lagos state court because his trial is heavily politicized with added dose of bigoted Yoruba bias. This sham trial and show of shame has been on now for nearly 15 years. The higher courts should right the wrong that has been done to this gentleman who's been punished for the perceived wrongs of Abacha.

It's unfortunate that ignoramuses come here to spew crap. I doubt if there's a single country in the world where u cannot go to do legitimate business. Look, Pakistan is a free country for anyone to go to - even TB Joshua is doing his spiritual business there and he's airing it on his TV channel. Are u saying they should kill his church members in Pakistan as well? You posted this crap because of ur islamaphobia but ur devilish wish will follow u. It was during his time as minister of works that imposing multi-story FG secretariats were completed in many states. At that time some people felt the secretariats were a waste of resources but he insited on their completion being a man of foresight. These secretariats are being used today to house FG establishments that would otherwise occupy rented structures. Nice fellow, very honest. Muscular and a true workhorse. RIP.

If on the average he earns 3000 naira daily, he'll be making like 80,000 naira monthly (takng into account off days). A single making this much should not be classified as poor. Yet the UN will classify people like this as living on less than one dollar a day.
