Your first part of the story has shown why many men in your situation will continue to have marital issues. You people always think you're smart and can pull a fast one on anybody. You hid your first child away from that lady prior to marriage and planned to tell her after marriage and that has probably backfired. Someone brought an issue like this on here 2 days ago and I blamed the man but some blockheads were cheering him on. Stupid people!

How about my case, though we were not married yet but planning to marry.
We courted for a year and I already told her my plans that I will marry her... Problem started when one of her family members came to stay with us and since then she had been looking outside. At the 2nd bolded, you are a mad man I swear and I don't mean that as an insult. Don't you have young nieces or nephews whom you chill out with sometimes? What about when you're travelling on a plane and young children are crying? What do you do and how do you cope?

At the 1st bolded, you have a valid point to an extent. Beating was effective and instrumental to shaping my character, but it wasn't damaging. In a different household it may have been extreme and damaging to another child.

Do these grounding and deprivation methods of taking away benefits really work? If yes, I am all for it as a disciplinary measure, but me, I will still beat you join, if you do pass yourself because I hate brats, badly behaved and spoilt kids. If I were a parent I will be damned if I let any of my kids fall into that category.

Ironically, I'm a sweet guy that have good sense of humor and can keep the company of anyone (except stupid people and religious fanatics). Most times, if I'm around where children cries and I don't have options of leaving, I would rather plug in my earphones and blast some trap songs.

Beating is physical abuse and it was/is damaging to many kids and the world we are now has gone beyond beating, especially with the moral decadence in the society now. Many kids are running away from home once they can't withstand the beating anymore. And it's more bad if the child is a female, she would be exploited by men because of her vulnerability.

Yes, grounding and deprivation works. Look at the CIA and other security agencies, deprivation is a major way to get information out of a criminal and the extreme deprivations is known to even damage criminals beyond repair. Although I'm not saying parents should use the CIA-style of deprivation.
