A shocking video clip released by Emmanuel TV, the broadcast arm of the the Synagogue Church of All Nations, founded by Prophet TB Joshua, purporting to show hordes of demon-possessed attendees in his church receiving ‘deliverance’ has evoked controversy.

The clip, which was released almost simultaneously on the cleric’s popular YouTube and Facebook accounts, shows Joshua moving amidst congregants during his church service at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) on Sunday 26th March 2017.

The reaction is uncanny as multiple people begin to fall, quiver and scream even without physically being prayed for by the controversial cleric.

“Demons spontaneously shriek as the anointing sweeps throughout the auditorium and freedom kicks bondage out perpetually, coupled with instant healing for the sick and afflicted,” reads part of the clip’s description on YouTube which runs for over twenty minutes.

Amidst the eerie cries of the possessed, several individuals with difficulties in walking and breathing claimed to receive healing at the touch of the pastor, including a Mexican man who travelled to Nigeria from USA to receive prayer.

Reactions to the video, which was released yesterday to YouTube, ranged from downright disbelief to the suggestion the ‘show’ was arranged for comedic purposes.

“This is crazy,” wrote a user named Sharkfinz6. “What did he say to bring all these people out?”

Another viewer named ‘teeonezee’ surmised, “All kinds of crazy shit is happening in this video… This channel makes such great comedy.”

“Why is this guy hitting everyone,” whimsically queried Wasila Annie. “He may hurt the audience by hitting their heads.”

However, Joshua’s supporters were similarly out in their droves to support the clip titled ‘Raw Anointing That Makes Demons GO WILD!’

“We need this anointing in Germany,” wrote Bernardo Schmitt, owner of a German Christian website.

Antonia Pasioudi from Greece contributed, “Thank You Lord for Your prophet!”

“Wow! Under the influence of the Holy Spirit, demons tremble before T.B. Joshua,” commented Rozely Lindim, an Asian fan of Joshua.

This is not the first video on Joshua’s YouTube channel, which recently surpassed 500,000 subscribers, to cause controversy.

A clip allegedly showing an encounter between Joshua and a self-professed servant of ‘Lucifer’ went viral last year, amassing over 2 million views.

Another clip showing Joshua helping the victim of a vicious armed robbery attack also surpassed one million views this week.

In two separate YouTube videos, Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua claims to have foretold the terror attack which struck in the heart of London, England on Wednesday 22nd March 2017.

A video which was posted on Joshua’s official YouTube channel in June 2016 reveals a prophecy the famed cleric gave on Sunday 22nd May 2016.

“Pray for the United Kingdom – I am seeing some funny people in their country,” Joshua, who is reputed for regularly releasing prophecies about both local and international events, began.

“I am seeing with prayer and their proper security, it will be aborted - but there will be a sign and a trace that this happened,” he further declared.

“It will not happen the way it was supposed to have happened - but they will know something happened there.”

Following the horrific attack which left five dead and over forty injured, another video surfaced on Emmanuel TV’s YouTube channel, revealing the pastor’s continued prophetic pronouncement about the United Kingdom on Sunday 19th June 2016.

Referring to the murder of British MP Jo Cox on 16th June 2016, Joshua warned that it was ‘not yet over’.

“They should pray and make sure they secure their lawmakers and their institution,” Joshua said, clarifying that the institution he referred to were the politicians who supported British leader, Theresa May.

“They should give proper security to their institution in the United Kingdom,” the cleric concluded before asking congregants to join him in prayer.

Police have now identified the attacker as 52-year-old British-born Khalid Masood just as ISIS have claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement to Amaq News Agency.

Masood drove a car into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge, killing four before fatally stabbing an unarmed police officer and entering the Palace grounds, where he was shot dead by other officers.

The brutal attack occurred on the first anniversary of the 2016 Brussels bombings, an event which Joshua similarly claimed to have predicted.

Another ‘prophecy’ from Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua seems to have come to light as news of terrorist sieging a hotel in the capital of Burkina Faso makes worldwide headlines.

"More African countries will be under siege by terrorists because of pros and cons in choosing leaders," Joshua said in a live broadcast on Thursday 31st December 2015 in his ‘prophetic message’ for 2016.

"Mishandling of electoral processes will create a conducive atmosphere for terrorists," he added, calling on African leaders to quickly ‘arrest’ the political situation.

The ‘prophetic’ words spoken by Joshua seem to be in touch as the attack came merely two weeks after Burkina Faso’s new leader Roch Marc Kabore was sworn in and only two days after he elected a new cabinet.

It has been reported that the terrorist group al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb has claimed it was behind the deadly attack which is said to have killed at least 20 people and wounded more than 15 others.

The video of T.B. Joshua’s prediction was uploaded to YouTube and has been viewed nearly 200,000 times.
On his Facebook page he made reference to the prophecy as he called for prayers for Burkina Faso.

A YouTube clip showing controversial Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua’s dramatic encounter with ‘Lucifer’ has gone viral, amassing over 500,000 views in just one month since its release online. The video titled ‘Face To Face With Lucifer’ shows a peculiar scenario that unfolded in Joshua’s church when a self-professed ‘occult wizard’ came to seek prayers at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos, Nigeria.

In the clip, an eerily looking man with a menacing black beard introduces himself as Professor Chukwudi Okakpu, an alleged ‘Grand Llama of Science Beyond Material’. Amidst his extraordinary claims, the Satanist professed to have had face to face encounters with ‘Lucifer’ and to have endorsed ‘anti-Christs’ globally. “I can stay here and appear in any part of Europe,” Okakpu, dressed in a flowing white suit, calmly stated, adding that he ‘operates like a spirit’. “If you are such a person that patronises shrines or herbalists, I am the ultimate,” he sensationally claimed.

The video shows Joshua praying for Okakpu who sways uneasily several times before eventually falling to the floor. Several of his ‘followers’ proceed to come out from the crowd and are also prayed for, after which the ‘professor’ renounces his devilish past. Okakpu proceeds to return the following week with some of his ‘occultic’ garments to testify to the changes in his life after ‘accepting Jesus Christ’.

“This is a video satan does not want you to watch,” Emmanuel TV states in its introduction of the clip on YouTube. “A satanic ‘general’ renounces his covenants with devilry and witchcraft in a church service that made hell and its minions quiver!” As with most of Joshua’s videos, the contents have elicited controversy with opposing views as to its authenticity.

Several online commentators insisted Joshua’s deliverance services are nothing more than a scam involving arranged actors while others argue they are genuine and godly. Joshua’s YouTube channel Emmanuel TV, where the clip was uploaded, is the third most subscribed channel in Nigeria with nearly 300,000 subscribers and 110,000,000 views.

He lived and walked with the great God's Generals such as Oral Roberts, Kathryn Kulman and AA Allen...He is actually a living legend, someone who represents that era of the revivalists of old - he must be really old by now.

I really think that it is high time that we stopped all these fake rumours about TB Joshua. Are people not tired of all this now? Just because we want people to read the post.  I watched the service on Emmanuel TV and he never said that there was going to world war 3. People come from all over the world to Lagos to see TB Joshua and receive prophecies, healing and deliverance and yet we his own people are busy spreading fake rumours and creating panic. It does not make sense. It is written that a prophet is not welcomed in his home town but it's like we are taking this too far. Well anyway, while we are dong this, he is busy feeding the nation's poor and sending the children to school.

I and millions of others beg to differ. I have been there physically as well as watching Emmanuel TV and I am certainly NOT hypnotized. The miracles are real. There is no doubt about it. Just this last Sunday alone was amazing - hundreds healed, a man called Mr Dickson - healed of mental disorder (he had been mad for 14 years, living in the bush - he is completely sound and reasoning well now. Then, number 4 in the world boxer, King Davidson testifying of his victory after coming to the Synagogue for breakthrough. The list is endless and really, there is no denying it - he is a true servant of God as well as being incredibly humble.
So, persecution is to be expected. Go and see for yourself - nothing is arranged. It is real and lives really are changed.

Some people really have far to much spare time on their hands - Why do people just use TB Joshua's name like that? I am an emmanuel tv viewer and Ive never heard him mention anything about Arsenal. Please if he said anything, it would be broadcast on Emmanuel tv - as for me, nothing can persuade me that that rumour us true.

I think this is a pointless topic - this theme has been repeated a million times to the same effect - whether you believe TB Joshua is a conman or not - why not look at the facts, investigate his ministry - if you are in Nigeria - go and visit ( anyone can attend the Sunday services), watch Emmanuel TV and ask God to help you to come to the right conclusion. My question remains the same - if he is a conman or if he is a true pastor, leave him alone and you will see - if God is with him - the evidence will be clear.

Am watching LIVE on Emmanuel TV that TB Joshua prophesied the earthquake in Chile. He said that there would be another earthquake apart from Haiti, that the sea would rise up and cause destruction and that this would happen when people were travelling on bridges etc, He read out this prophecy on Jan 17th during the LIVE service, I think CNN have to start listening to this man,

People will continue to believe any lie that surfaces about TB Joshua - but this really is a ridiculous one - the article was from 2007 and is not in any way refering to TB Joshua. But people continue because of the controversy surrounding his ministry - this just goes to show that he is of God. It is all free advertising anyway!

These were the words spoken by TB Joshua to wheelchair-bound Mr. Matthew Uyanna, after handing him a bottle of anointed water. The 59 year old retired commissioner of police, a victim of cervical and lumbar spondylosis had come to The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations in search of solution to the pain that had crippled both his life and prolific career. Brought to the church in a car by his wife, Mr Uyanna explained that his condition had rendered him helpless and bound to a wheel-chair. Describing how his sickness had come as a rude shock to him, the retired commissioner of police told how he had never thought a sickness like this could happen to a man in his position. As his wife held the X-Rays up to the light, he said that he had been booked for an operation but wanted to seek God for healing.

As various international visitors from countries such as Japan, Mexico and South Africa surveyed the seemingly hopeless case, Joshua explained that with God, all things are possible – the only thing that can limit His ability is the level of our faith. If we are thinking negatively and doubting that it can be done, God cannot work. After hearing the pitiful story from Mr. Uyanna’s wife, how her once active husband was unable to walk, TB Joshua looked at Mr. Uyanna and said, “Today is your day.” His faith just needed to be strengthened. Joshua then handed Mr Uyanna a bottle of anointed water for healing and deliverance and told him to drink the whole bottle, saying, “Relax and enjoy your wine”. (Joshua has previously explained about the anointed water that it is not the water itself that heals, but Jesus Christ since the healing is done in His name.)

A few minutes later, TB Joshua came back to Mr Uyanna and placed his hands on his back and legs, praying for him. Joshua then told him to stand up, which he did immediately. After placing hands on his waist in prayer, TB Joshua led Mr Uyanna to take his first step. Walking out of the wheelchair, he confidently made his way into the church, followed by his wife who was crying for joy. It was an awesome sight; the retired commissioner of police walking for the first time in years, an evangelist behind him carrying his wheelchair and visitors and onlookers rejoicing.

With so many miracles happening in The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, day by day, week by week, year by year, one has to ask oneself – is my faith not being strengthened? As the Bible says in Matthew 13: 16-18 “But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”
Whether you see it physically, or watch it on TV or have just read this article – what more evidence do you want? Evidence of what you say? Well, TB Joshua says, “I am not the healer. I know the healer; His name is Jesus Christ”. Evidence of Jesus Christ – that He can and will change lives.

We always complain today - that this country is so rich with mineral resources and we are not seeing the fruit - I mean, someone somewhere is enjoying the money. The answer - mismanagement?

Yesterday, while flicking the channels, I stumbled on Emmanuel TV and to be honest was quite amazed by what I saw. Everyone in Nigeria has heard about TB Joshua to some extent - whether contoversy, or miracles, prophecies or feeding and housing the poor, but have we actually realised his value?

Whether you accept it or not - the evidence speaks for itself - he is a prophet - what of the death of Michael Jackson, Brittany Murphy, Heath Ledger, attack of Berlusconi, Mianmar Cyclone, release of Ingrod Betancourt, not to mention Bill Clinton being rushed to hospital for an operation and even our present political situation (a video was shown from 2005 with a prophecy). He is a prophet - the kind of man that our leaders can turn to and ask for guidance and advice.

What he says in public - soon starts happening on the news - talk less of the thousands of personal prophecies he gives each week to people he meets for the first time - and with those personal prophecies comes solution - reconciled families, restored marraiges, breaking of generational curses, guidance to take the right decision.

TB Joshua said yesterday that he was the property of the world - that they should use him - I don't know about you but I think it's about time Nigeria started realisng the value of this prophet - i mean, to have someone who hearrs from God in our nation, to me it is a great asset,

I was really touched by what I saw and heard during the service yesterday. TB Joshua and Emmanuel TV are really making an impact in Haiti. Whilst other pastors may send money - this relief project is really helping people to rebuild their lives. I am really immpressed with what is happenning - As the nurse said yesderday - this project is really redeeming the image of Nigeria abroad.

i think the intrigue in Akingbola and his 'csae' is perfectly simple: when we say we are a pastor - this carries a responsibility. We are wielding a lot of influence. It reminds me of a song i once heard - the lyrics go thus - the biggest cause of atheism in the world today is 'Christians' that acknowledge Jesus with their lips and go outside and deny Him with their lifestyle - this is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable.

Hmmmmm - i think that what it means to be a Christian today needs to be examined in the light of God's Word. Christian means 'Christ-like'. I think very few of us actually fit that description. But one thing is clear - those who 'pastors' such as these are persecuting and accusing of occultism and the likes are actually closer to the mark. TB Joshua for one - say what you want about him but look at how he lives his life and I think you will agree with me that he is a servant of Christ.

This is a decision that Yaradua should have made long ago - now he is no state to make any decision as he is tied to a life support machine in Saudi Arabia. When will Nigeria - both muslim and Christian wake up and realize that TB Joshua is truly sent by God to this generation?

It is not a happy day for the Redeemed Church Of God as news about their pastor's warrant for arrest hits the papers. It certainly makes one wonder - can we trust anyone? The responsibility of being a pastor is heavy and qualities much more than just speakling well and a sound education - the hand of God needs to be with you. I mean a Christian in heart not just in profession just as TB Joshua would say - talking of TB Joshua - where are his accusers today, ?

Hmmmm - it is true. The benefits of TB Joshua's ministry for Nigeria are numerous and apart from that as Senator Agbo rightly says - many people all over the world receive their freedom from the power of God in the life of TB Joshua. What impresses me most about him is that everyone knows that no matter how many awards or honours he may get, that will not change him - he is doing what he is doing because be loves and obeys God not because he wants to be appreciated. If there were more like him, then not just Nigeria but the world would be a better place.
