ConcNiggress56: Where are your morals? This is insanity. If you want to screw, by all means screw but don't try this shit. Do you want your brother to actually amount to anything at all in life?. Listen, I almost gave up on myself, saw suicide as an option and did slip into depression when I was struggling to start and no one was willing to help. Today, that is behind me and I'm pushing forward. Unless you put this up to garner attention, it is the dumbest thing to try or do. What if he blows the money with the necessary mistakes that most certainly accompany the word "starting"? It therefore means he has blown your virginity. Tell him to stand up and man up. If you wan chuck, chuck but not for that excuse. I can oblige you that without the absurd reason attached. |

We will all still be here on nairaland (if it retains the name) to check the score cards. Let's do it that way. |

laudate: Dumb. Who will be the worst for it? The state IGR of course. Even after Biafra is granted, you and your likes will be granting us lands for free just to make us invest in your states and boost you IGR. You see how the various state governments worship the Chinese investors? We will become the new China to you all, the darling investors being wooed with tax cuts and free lands with guarranteed protection of lives and investment. You have very little regards and appreciation for us because we are still here with you. Wait until we are gone. 9 Likes 1 Share |

abbeyfel: Thanks for the reminder. It shows you aren't business incline. China sells to the world. The world, including the fragmented state of Nigeria will be our market. There will be bilateral agreements, the Ecowas charter, etc. We are still members of Ecowas, which allows free movement of goods. We will not be affected by that that much bro, because we will be at liberty to have bilateral agreements with whatever country we choose at our terms. Not to worry, the north will need to offset excess food they produced. The Igbo, ever business ready will step in a middle men between the Niger delta republic, oduduwa, middle belt and the rest. You will still buy our goods, maybe not immediately, but eventually. Let us worry about that. 2 Likes 1 Share |

This country will never allow that, hence we need to be on our own to grow. Good a thing we've started with immitation, we can as well upgrade it to original with support. Biafra is here. 4 Likes |

The hatred and attack here is on him and what he represents, and never on the Yoruba. WE, NDI-IGBO AND YORUBA, NEED TO GROW UP AND STOP THIS INSANE MUTUAL MUD SLINGING AND BASHING. WE NEED TO BOND TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE GREATER THINGS. Joe is a fool. |

Doesn't Nigeria carry out business with Benue, Chad, Niger, Ghana and other countries of the world? So does dividing this sham of a country mean we can't do business again with Arewa or Odua or Izon or any other country? Una no serious. let's have a referendum. Simple 5 Likes |

majekdom2: Your insult not withstanding, Language is the most and strongest factor that determines a nation. Everything else follows from there. There may be similarities in culture and the rest, language still is and remains the strongest factor that determines who's who and who's from where. Little wonder God's response to man's challenging brotherhood and oneness in babel was to confuse man's language, hence racism, ethnicity, tribalism. He didn't touch their culture or customs. He confused there language because language is the carrier of a people's identity, customs and culture. Ikwerre in rivers state, Igbere/Ibere both in Abia state and Nkwerre in Imo state, are all Igbo. If Ikwerre says he is not Igbo. I from Igbere is not also Igbo. Then let's see who is Igbo. The marauding Fulani herdsmen can differentiate this, I hope. Put them on notice. 9 Likes |

majekdom2: Your tantrums notwithstanding, please, talk about Ijaw and stop centralizing by saying Rivers. Portharcourt is 40-50 % Igbo. The Ikwerre, Etche, Omuma, Obigbo etc, are all in Rivers state and the are all tribes in the igbo nation. stop this Rivers is not Igbo nonsense and talk about Ijaw, which of course is an ethnic group on her own. Igbo stretches from Agbor down to Igweocha (portharcourt.) Now you can show me more of my alleged unintelligence. 7 Likes |
Politics / Re: Is Ogu-bolo In River State Igbo Or Ijaw?: See Towns And Village Names by MultiCEO1: 10:08pm On Apr 26, 2017 |
Igbo is a nation. Ikwerre, Ika, Nkwerre, wawa, Ngwa, etche, Igbere, etc are all tribes in the igbo nation. I am an Igbere man from Abia state. you are Ikwerre from rivers. If you are not Igbo. I am not Igbo. If you claim Ikwerre, then I claim Igbere. Igbo has over 200 dialects with Abia state alone having more than 30. A dialect becomes a language if it loses mutual intelligibility with the mother tongue. Ikwerre has not lost that. Igbere has not lost that. That mutual intelligibility in the Igbo language which ensures that an ikwerre man or Igbere man from the interior can fairly understand the 'central Igbo' or the igbo language of a real cosmopolitan city without aid or requiring interpretation even if he can only speak his dialect is what makes and leaves us all Igbo. You can hardly understand my dialect if you ate not from my place. Same with an ikwerre man. But the moment I step down to the central Igbo language, the confusion will be settled. This can't be if an ikwerre, Ibere, igbere, waka or nteje man goes to the north or south. Meanwhile, Ijaw is Ijaw. Ijaw is not an ethnic group in the Igbo nation, same with many other tribes in old eastern region. Ikwerre, Nkwerre, Igbere, Ibere are all tribes in the Igbo nation. 22 Likes 5 Shares |

majekdom2:Let me answer that question. You can only adopt a name from another language either through religious conquest, as in Islam/Christianity, colonialism as the English names got to us, intermarriage, social relationship or you are simply one of them. To ask if answering English name makes you English sounds very daft and mischievous. You answer English name because of our relationship with the British, I.e., slavery, Christianity, colonialism. you can only take on a peoples name through either of these, or intermarriage/trade or you are one with them. 21 Likes |

ganie: No. He wasn't. The proponents didn't single him out to give him a special preaching that is different from what everyone else heard. He added the yeast that saw him hurt by himself. Like alcohol, our limits differ. If a one bottle man takes two or three and misbahave, will you blame the barman? No. He allowed himself into that situation. |

ganie: That's your neighbour's fault. Will you blame Christ for hose who disposed of their properties and shared the proceedings in readiness to go to heaven in the 18th/19th centuries when they took too literal the often repeated words "Christ's return is imminent", and even assigned a date to it out of their overzealousness? You don't blame the Biafran preachers for the mistake and miscalculation of your neighbour. 1 Like |
