Smooth sailing! |
What keeps a country going is the rule of law and respect for court orders. If there is no respect for court orders, it sets the pace for anarchy. 👈 -Read this again before quoting me! |
In the early 2000s, when my Uncke brought his kids home from the US, his last born who was about 8 years old didn't like to come out. He said that Nigeria is a porto-porto country, I can remember the first day they arrived at our house and there was a power outage, The little boy was shouting and crying asking what was happening, and we all laughed including his dad. You won't blame the little boy, power outage is something he hasn't experienced since he was born. If you travel to the West, you will think Nigeria is cursed(but it is not), it's just bad leaders. Even from the airport, you will receive a cool breeze that will tell you that you have just entered a country and not a CORNTRY. We just have to do better in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. The worst street in the US state of Connecticut where I reside is 100 times better than what I'm seeing in these pics. |
Continue fooling yourself, God bless Nigeria indeed. No Igbo man or woman can ever become the president of this country. The earlier we demand a referendum, the better for Igbos and other minority ethnic groups. Continue wasting your money on endless and unfruitful litigation. |

Reno is a useless man. I hate it when bastards speak as if they are God. |
Bro, the fact that you're happy for others, yours will come. 9ja no be am at all. I will be traveling from Connecticut to Florida sometime next week, I'll do well to put pictures here. |
We all should learn how to bridle our tongues. That's why I love myself, I'm much more of a listener than a talkative. I think before I talk. |
Until Africans change their perspective on Christianity, the better for them. These are businessmen (eh no get as you want explain am give me). If you go to their churches, they collect offering up to 5times in a day usng big containers all because they want to milk you before you go home. But come over here, churches here use flat plates to collect the offering, because they ain't expecting much from you. Even if you give 1dollar as offering, nobody will look at you somehow, but if you give 50naira as offering in 9ja, they will look at you with one kind eye. Churches no even plenty here, if you see a church, before you will see another one, you will walk for at least 10 to 15 minutes. But in Nigeria, you will see a building that has four different churches, but na them commit evil pass. May God help us. |
Peanuts... 100$ and 200$ is all these lazy fools could get. I suggest they are sentenced to receive 100 strokes of cane that was soaked in petrol overnight, so that they can receive sense before it's too late. Their mates are making thousands of dollars on Upwork every month, and they are online scamming people of itune card of 100 and 200$. Damn,! |
If she is a virgin, why not ![]() |
coputa:broa, you should know Jennyclay if you aren't new on nairaand. She has another Monica. Back in the days, I used to give it her, pocohantas and one former female moderator called ishilove wotowoto with my old monica No mind them, they are frustrated evening newspapers. Ishilove ban tire na. You want try me? That was when I was doing my NYSC sha, and had time to spare. |
Igbos can never beg for Kanu's release from unlawful detention. When the time is right, FG must release him. It is this beggy beggy that has reduced the Igbo race to almost nothing in the British contraption. |
If it will happen, nobody will know. You guys will just wake up to Military marshal songs on radio and TV. Heavily armed soldiers will take over Aso Rock, CBN, Dodan barracks, amongst other strategic locations. Amoured personnel carriers will be rolled out and will full the streets. State governors will be told to report to the Military commands nearest to them or risk being arrested. Then all these Nairaland nuisance that post rubbish everyday against the president and governor will just have to change or be dealt with. Because there won't be constitutional courts again as the constitution will be suspended. Who born you to come online and write nonsense against Army Generals... They will just trace you, and lock you up and throw away the keys. Then we will know that democratic rule is better than Military rule. |
2BabaNairaland:It is very unlikely that a coup will happen in Nigeria. Nigeria is too big for that, even if some soldiers decide to take over, they will fail in other regions. |
The handiwork of opposition. They're trying day and night to discredit the government of Alex Otti. Governor Alex Otti pays salaries on the 28th of every month... If you u ain't paid, then it simply means you are a verified ghost worker. That nonsense that happened in Okezie Ikepeazu's tenure has come to an abrupt end. This is from Kazie Uko, the chief press secretary to Governor Alex Otti "IT'S FAKE NEWS, I WAS NEVER CHASED OUT OF THE OFFICE - ABIA ACCOUNTANT GENERAL The Abia State Accountant General, Njum Onyemenam, has described a social media report that she was chased out of office Tuesday morning by angry civil servants as fake news and "absolute falsehood". Onyemenam, who was in attendance at the Abia State 32nd Anniversary Celebration lecture, which held at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia, said she was never in the office as of the time the purveyors of the fake news were busy spreading their falsehood. The delectable lady, an ordained Deaconess, said she had approached the entrance gate to the annex of the Government House area housing her office and those of some other Government functionaries, when she saw a handful of individuals trying to access the gate but were prevented by security men on duty. She took an alternative access to get to her side of the compound without any obstruction. "There was nothing like chasing me out of my office. As a matter of fact, I was not even in the office. I tried driving into the compound and at the same time a few persons, who had been stopped at the gate tried taking advantage of the moment to gain entry into the compound but they were resisted. "I then chose to access my office through an alternative access point rather than be caught up in a fracas that I don't know anything about," Onyemenam explained. |
Lol, OP, are you sure you can live in the west? Here, it's even worse. Which white kid wan great you as a black man, unless you're good friends with the parents. They behave in a way that will make you want to give them a hard knock on their head, but if you try am, na jail o. |
jmoore:true. They may be feeling safe now because the NYSC camp is normally heavily guided by Armed Soldiers with their armoured personnel carriers, the DSS, civil defence and the Police. After Camp, how eh go be?? Make una no allow ordinary and paltry 30k gift from the governor deceive una oo. Relocate if you can. |
ecolime:good analysis! And also, the US dollar is a stable currency. |
These guys always make constant electricity seem like rocket science. Corruption won't allow them to achieve 24/7 electricity in Nigerians. Goosh, Nigerians are suffering. Basic things like constant power supply, your government can't even provide. Go to other African countries, I don't want to talk about the West and see things happening there. No Nation can develop without electricity. My guy who came to Connecticut earlier this year told me he was tired of seeing light everyday, he said they should just take it even if it's for a minute, I just laughed hard and told him to upgrade oo, say na Yankee he dey oo. Here, no roadblocks by the police or army, clean water and air, and 24/7 electricity( light no fit go off even for a second). What more can make one live longer than these basic things of life? |
What is OP talking about? Is it ghost that they grant visa? Nigerians do come to the US every day. My cousin just arrived in Maryland Yesterday on a visiting visa |
Toks2008:bro, you dey mind all these people... Until they are handed a UK visa and they refuse to travel, that's when I will take them seriously. |
Nonexisting1:bro, you're a funny dude! I laughed so hard reading this that my co-workers were looking at me like I son smoke colos. |
Exceed15:add Canada to the list bro. |
No one has the right to tag anyone stingy IMO! When you come abroad, you will understand. Have worked under extreme cold weather before? ... I'm talking about 4 degrees and below. It will be like you're in a refrigerator. My guy wey enter the US recently don dey confirm say khaki no be leather! Is not easy anywhere, have that sh!t at the back of your mind. |
Anything to leave the shithole! |
ElSudani:the video may be fake. But this kind of thing is capable of causing conflict between my peace-loving Igbos and my Yoruba brothers and sisters. |
All these hopeless and useless moderators that keep on pushing to the front page all this nonsense capable of causing tribal war should just continue. Is not everything that you will put on the front page. The mod that moved this to front page is a big idiot! |
fuckJones:Only the law court can define it. |
fuckJones:Nigerians will never change. You guys deserve all that your leaders are dishing out to you. It's dishearting how you label Kanu a terrorist even when no law court has found him guilty. So sad! |
