Penguin2: When I said in the other thread that buffoons have taken power in Nigeria, it seemed like I was just hating on Tinubu government but it’s the truth.
Or tell me what this particular policy is meant to achieve.
Explain it to me like I’m in nursery school.
You really reason, like a kindergarten pupil. How would u now understand, if this thing is well explained to u? Okay let me try. There will be massive capital movement. Foreign investors will move in. The liquidity ratio will go up. CBN will be able to control cashflow through different monetary policies.... and finally there will be food on your table
In the end, what they will achieve is that banks come together and merge together so they can get the 500billion naira base capital. That’s how we will end up having about just 5 commercial banks remaining.
So, ultimately they will end up shrinking Nigerians’ choices and leaving us at the mercy of just few banks who will treat us as they like because our options are limited.
If you disagree with this, then tell me the advantages of this policy.
I’ll wait |

People I employed took a short route,i cannot take by virtue of my emotional commitment to him.Today they are better for it. Why should his passport be collected after returning from trips. Of course he was not forced to continue working for him,but there are some wicked bosses that will not allow their workers to have a mind of their own , especially when such workers are highly indispensablei. They manipulate such workers by making fake unenforceable promises. Such workers work tirelessly forgetting the biz is not their own. Cantonese: Hmm.
Out of desperation many have travelled abroad and found themselves stranded. Many get stranded because they look out for the easiest way to make money in those countries. With no yahoo, drug or prostitution to do for their living, they get stuck.
You find such people all over the world, but the worst areas are Asia and the Middle East.
I was in New Delhi, India, not too long ago. At that market places called INA market one young man approached me asking for 100 rupees for food. My associate wondered if what the young man asked for was real or not. I said na money e dey beg for so. The next “how e take reach this country”. Me too I said na plane e enter plus visa join.
It is very sad.
In spite of the self inflicted hardship, opportunities abound in Nigeria. Indians want to come here.
Motor boys on tippers and trailers make more money monthly than some bank staff. Those boys who load up tippers with sand make plenty of money daily. Those boys who pack your goods in cartons take home over 10K daily depending on patronage. Some call these things menial, but those who engage in them build houses from their jobs.
Most people that japa are well educated, only few of them can do these menial jobs in Nigeria. If you are a graduate in Nigeria, the society and family expect more from you. Therefore engaging in menial jobs is out of it. In as much as what you said is the truth, our education system needs to be redefined. |

Its only defect is that the body emits gaseous exchange, which does not only pollute the environment, its also destroys the ozone layers.

Politics › Re: Budget, Agriculture Ministers Fault Subsidy Removal, Floating Of Naira by Munamu: 7:07pm On Feb 09, 2024 |
Ordinarily, there is nothing wrong with tinubu's economic policy. The major problem is the timing. Better still , I think he spoke out of context on the day he was being inaugurated. The major advantages of devaluation are; 1) its discourages importation. 2) Its encourages local production. 3 Its increases exportation. 4) Luxury goods and services becomes almost unaffordable.
The reason why the policy is counter productive is that the needed infrastructures and amenities are not in place. For example factors like the bandits affected the agrarian population, which hindered bountiful harvest. Also our local industries are down, hence foreign goods Will continue to be sold at higher prices. The agriculture minister should know that devaluation of a currency will lead to increased exports,as foreigners will only use few unit of their currencies to buy a lot of naira |

Myer: They are not different from the biblical Israelites. The problem is simple, they are suffering the curse of crucifying their Messiah and not repenting.
Apostle Paul in Romans 9 still urges us to pray for them. It was their rejection that provoked the gospel to be extended to us Gentiles. It's called Replacement Theology. So if their rejection is a blessing to the world how much more their redemption?
The good news lately is that more Jews are now converting to Christianity. However, the nation Itself has not accepted to follow Jesus Christ, only few who obtain Mercy of God to see the light.
Thanks to you. Christianity well explained in a simple form.
Its really sad to watch the Jews and their religious pride and rejection. Imagine being the chosen nation of God. Imagine how much God has invested in them. Imagine how long they have been waiting for their Messiah. And when their Messaiah finally came they became offended. The Jews actually believed Jesus and even wanted tonmake him their king but their leaders, the Chief Priest, High Priests, Pharisees!, Saduccees and Scribes felt threatened and envious that Jesus was not one of them but a carpenter's son from no where. They were making so much money from the problems of the people and the sacrifices, very much like what the Pastors and Prophets are doing today in Christianity. They decided it was best to kill this outsider that wanted to ruin business for them.
The present wars between Israel and Palestine is all prophesied in the bible as signs of the last days, let's hope it doesn't degenerate into WW3. Both nations of Israel and Palestine are suffering the consequences of rejecting Jesus Christ as the Son of God.
If you're a believer who has accepted Jesus Christ as the Son of God and your Lord and Savior, I hope you value the special Grace you have received. There are nations that still can't believe it.
May the Grace of our LORD Jesus Christ, the Love of God and the Sweet Fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and for ever. Amen. |

FreeStuffsNG: Only US, Isreal and 12 other countries, mostly tiny weak Island countries; Austria, Croatia, Czechia, Fiji, Guatemala, Hungary, the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay and Tonga , voted against the adoption of the resolution and they lost woefully!
This is a testament to the seriously diminished power and influence of the United States on global politics on this Palestinian-Israel war.
Even the E.U , Canada and UK didn't vote against the resolution. China, Russia, Jordan, Iran, Pakistan, the Arab League, Turkiye, Ireland, South Africa and Nigeria tried too. It was a momentous event that the world stood together significantly for the Palestinian people.
Sincerely, Humanity won. Over 3000 Palestinian children killed yet Hamas keeps fighting and firing rockets into Israel, giving credence to the report that Israel is actually killing mostly civilians and children.
If Isreal, with all its military power and backing of US and UK , has been fighting a small group of Hamas fighters for weeks now yet the death toll of children and civilians in Gaza keep mounting and Hamas Rockets firings into Israel have not stopped, so who is Isreal deceiving? Who is Isreal been killing for the past few weeks of bombing Gaza? Hamas still fired a lot of rockets into Southern Israel few hours ago!
If after this resolution, Isreal continues the bombing, there will be very serious and severe consequences against Israel. I pray it doesn't get to that. Check my signature for free stuffs! Iranu! xin5: As a 47yr old I still patronise prostitutes which I don't see a problem with. I have No kid, no serious relationship. The problem is my mother complaining here and there for me to get married if I don't see my age. My mother has complained to the extend she's embarrassed on my behalf even when I am well established. I know I can't help myself, it's just an addiction I can't stop. I find it so hard to chyke a girl, talk more calling every now and then.. having meaniless discussions and drama all the time.. pestering for sex something I can achieve with just a phone chat with my connect and they will send pictures of multiple variables I can pick from..30k shortime.
The longest relationship have ever had was in 2008 I think 7months. Ever since I was young I focused on pay as you go and this has been eating my finances on a steady which I normally don't see as anything because I am doing quite well for myself. But the pressure to have kids it's getting on me so bad that I wish I can just get a prostitute and impregnate her so that my mother can rest. Once you have children to spend on, it will stop automatically. |

Princewill1: The only option left for the Evil Zionists are AIRSTRIKES
Why are they no longer talking about the ground invasion of Gaza?
What a lot of people don't know is that most Western military establishments are now WOKE. Most Western powers we fear and revered can't compete militarily today after allowing 'wokeness' and lgtv to enter their arm forces. A good example is how America abandoned the war in Afghanistan and ran way. Had it been French troops in Niger attempted to fight during the coup, you all would've seen how the bodies of French soldiers will drag on the streets of Niamey. They are weak and can't compete effectively in ground battle. What the only have now is technology. Israel today is technically an European country nothing Hebrew about them and they're following on the footsteps of their Western brothers.
Any Israeli ground engagement on Hamas/Hesbollah dominated area will be catastrophic for them. The only edge they have now is air power which can't achieve much. Ground battle is necessary in gaining control.
I'm not a Muslim but I hate the hypocrisy of the West and injustices meted to the Palestinian people. The white Zionists from Europe who are in Israel today are not even the original ancient Israelites. Why are we allowing them to grab lands that is not theirs? You just revealed yourself when you said you are not a Muslim! I hate hypocrites! I guessed you know how ilorin was conquered? I guessed you know how Biafra war ended? I guessed you know America fought Britain to be what it is today? I guessed you know Nigeria was a conquered land of British before? I guessed you know six Arabian countries fought Israel in 1948 to get back this same Palestinian land but lost? It is all about the conqueror and the conquered! So nobody is grabbing anybody's land. |

That is how the GEJ's administration made a strategic mistake by introducing girls into the Nigerian Defence Academy resulting to reduced level of military training accross board. Today the result is the production of tiktok officers and excessive dead of officers and men in the North East. I disagree with you sir. I was a polytechnic student for 6 years. The discrimination encouraged me to go back to a university, but to study law. From my first to the fifth year as an undergraduate, I appreciated the polytechnic system. Courses like commercial law, company law, torts, Nigerian legal systems were walk over for me, because I did them in ND2 (financial studies). Mind you I did some of the courses in part 5 law. The polytechnic syllabus is more expanded than that of the university. The only different is the availability of PHD holders in theuniversity system. And from research, tutors with masters impact knowledge more than the so called PHD holders. If I can do major law courses as an ND1 and ND2 student of financial studies and the same courses( company law) are being taught at 500 level of law, then polytechnic education is not what you sweep underground. The problem is from the policy makes. England where the polytechnic education is copied from awards degree. I |

Now listen, go to the nearest police station, explain your predicament, let them see clearly that you are remorseful, tell them that all you want to do is to beg the landlord passionately. You tell the police that you just want them to invite him and not arrest him. When the landlord comes you should start prostrating to him from the gate of the police station. Every police stations has a section that deals with “mediation”, I believe they can help you out. But learn courtesy next time. Malicious damage is a criminal offence punishable with 2 years imprisonment under section 451 of criminal code. so going to the police is not an option. Infact the landlord is being merciful to him, because if he decides to press charges, the testimony of the gate man,is enough to nail him. |
