Tolumhen:Congratulations! I also did my biometrics on 10th August. Since receipt of empty nsf on 22nd August, its graveyard silence. |
Yaya88:Four months wait for a student visa? Has you programme started? I thought one can only apply three months to resumption. |
Yaya88:Hello, from the comments here, I think my application is going the direction of yours. I would love to see your timelines to draw strength from. Since 10th August when I had my biometric and 22nd when I got nsf mail, I have not heard from them apart from standard responses for my paid emails and calls that no decision has been made. |
Scot2324:You know the drill, don't be stingy. Congrats, though. |
bammywon:We are in the same shoe bro. My biocapture date is 10th August. I really don't know what to do. |
Biometric since 10th August. Still stuck at DMC. Program already started on 4th September. I did paid emails and calls but still getting told no decision has been reached. I feel sick and frustrated.

"Pretty" is the most abused word on Nairaland. |
I am looking for anyone interested in flatshare for anyone going to the University of Exeter. |
I am the main and only applicant. Standard visa. I had biometric on August 10. Empty NSF on August 22. Paid enquiry on September 4. Now being told escalation takes 15 working days. Meanwhile, program started September 4. Any hope for me? Any suggestion on what to do, please? |
airprince:i am right now e-seizing you by the collar and vigorously shaking you. Go to Canada. I said go to Canada. Did you hear me? Go to Canada. Just what part of go to Canada are you not understanding? Poultry industry in Nigeria right now is a shambles. Huge, huge starting cost and very low return due to cost of feed and relatively low cost of eggs and low demand. Don't even let me start on broiler production; that one is death trap. All in all, Sunk nearly 10m and no break-even point in sight let alone making profit. I am even one of the luckiest as no outbreak has been recorded so far in my farm. GO TO CANADA! |
Sokoto should not be there. We have seen rainfall only two ot three times this year. Right now, common rain we have not seen let alone flood and our crops are drying up. |
Depending on the diet of cockroach, it can be harmful or harmless. If it is a toilet roach, you can be sure that you have eaten a seriously fermented cooked human dung. March on any toilet roach and sniff it. |
mariahAngel:same reason i hate oat! The are a gooey mess. |
It is already criminal. Our lawmakers are intellectual retards. F**king couch potatoes. |
silvoclaira:what the snake did is not criminal again? Three whole chicken, Chai!!! |
zombieHUNTER:I thought we elected Obi? |
Ezecliff:Ladies and gentlemen, the undisputed champion of the 2023 Simp challenge. |
OP, you think I am here to play? Where are the topless pictures? |

One defeat, and the Obedients won't let us hear word. As Buharists, we have stomached three consecutive defeats and finally won on the fourth try. The path to success is never easy, and it's often littered with thorns. The sooner the Obedients realize this, the better for their peace and sanity. Doubling down on lies and propaganda did not win the elections for them, and it certainly won't get them back a lost mandate. As repentant Buharists, we cried ourselves horse trying to make them see reason why splitting Atiku's votes would not get them anywhere. Unfortunately, emotions and impressionism got the better part of them. Now, they are trying to decipher what hit them. When I was young, there was a story of an ajebutter boy that got into a fisticuff with the son of a farmer. The ajebutter boy got a bare hand dirty slap that temporarily blinded him. When people intervened and began to pacify the ajebutter boy, he asked that he was willing to let go of the matter but on the condition that the farmer's son produces the piece of wood that he used to slap him. This election was the first time that Igbos have come closer to smelling the presidency since forever. But instead of celebrating the success, strategizing, and reaching out to build bridges and extend a handshake across the Niger, they are busy lying to themselves that they have won an election they had no realistic path of winning. Yes, the election was not perfect, and there was rigging on both sides. However, not on the scale that would tip the balance in favor of Peter Obi. I am all for an Igbo presidency in the interest of inclusiveness, but power is not handed a la carte. Until Igbos learn politics the hard way, they will never smell the presidency in this country. Let's come together as a nation and work towards a common goal, regardless of our political affiliations or ethnic backgrounds. This is especially important for the Igbos. Instead of lying to ourselves and trying to decipher what went wrong, let's learn from our mistakes and build bridges across the Niger. We can create a nation that we can all be proud of. |
@OP, your actions are unwarranted. You locked up a woman going through emotional stress and not thinking straight. You denied a daughter going through emotional stress motherly care. You left the real culprit roam free, probably defiling more innocent girls. |
Obidients be like "His past grasscutting corruption scandal is now forgiven". smh |
@OP, I understand your frustrations but you should think twice about using names of your family members on this public forum. It is very easy to piece this information together and before you know it, you family skeletons are all out. All families have their skeletons, how they deal with it is the difference. You can choose to share your family's disfunction but please have the decency to anonymize the names going forward, ok? |
OP, your heart is in a good place. Do not allow people put you down for your past life choices. At 35, the man should have been more circumspect since the burden of circumspection is more on him than you at just 19! My advice to you on this is not to help her anonymously as it might not get to her considering economic situation in this country. Even if it does, it might not be as life-changing as you intended it to be as a lot of it can be withheld. So, I would advice you to contact her directly and tell her your intention. If she rejects, move on with your life and face your family. If she accepts, then you can go ahead and help out. To tell you the truth, considering her situation you painted, there is no snowball's chance in hell that she will reject your generosity. Poverty has a way of resetting people's high horse meter back to default settings. |
I see what you are insinuating ,OP. Everyone around you will also die. |
when you find yourself in a ditch, stop digging. BAT should let this one go. |
Nigeria is a failed state pure and simple. America took out Osama bn Laden in enemy territory without any help. But here in Nigeria we failed to take out a leader of a rag tag militia operating within our border. |
ffk is a shameless goat sha. His volte face, snobbery, elitism, egotism, narcissism are a signpost of a deeply troubled mind. |
Miravik900:You are truly a simp! you disgust me with this your reasoning. In this age of DNA denying your pregnancy is a no brainer. |
The only Vawulence they don't throw at each other is that of corruption. |
