Visa granted!!!!!
1. VETASSESS - Submitted 14 Jan 2017. Positive - 12 April 2017(Occupation - Valuer)

2. PTE - Attempted 5 times. The 4th time was the worst. Booked for the 5th exam. While writing the 5th one, Pearson sent me an email that the 4th exam was wrongly scored due to technical problem, hence would be re-scored. So the result for the 4th exam changed from S59 L65 R79 W62 to S90 L89 R87 W82. Miracle still happens abi?

3. EOI - Applied 15 May 2017

4. ITA - 23 May 2017

5. Applied for 189 - 24 June 2017 - All docs front loaded

6. 21 August 2017 - Immi Commencement Email

Business / Money Has Relocated Somewhere by Musharraf: 12:06pm On Jun 04, 2017
Couple of weeks ago, I was with some friends discussing about life in general. One of my guys made a very strong statement that " money has relocated to a strange land" and since then I have been doing some research on finding where exactly this strange land is.
After my thorough research and survey, I finally found where money has relocated to. Believe me, truly money is no longer where it use to be, it is in the strangest of all places that one can ever imagine.
I would like to share my findings with you. If you don't mind taking some time to read on.
Just this evening before I decided to put this piece up, I came across a similar write up with almost the same view as my findings and I thought it is time to share my little findings with you all.
A lot of us educated folks are busy looking for a pay job here and there everyday. But the truth is the world of work is shrinking by the day and as such there are no jobs to absorb the number of graduates been produced by our universities any longer.
The government CAN NOT and WILL NOT create jobs any more.
Truth be told, our universities are just reproducing job seekers and not job creators. They train you to become employees and not employers. Because our learning syllabus has not changed and it is the same old stuff they keep doing over the years.
The white collar jobs are no longer there, they are disappearing everyday. In fact the bankers will tell you, that there is nothing special in the banking sector any more. The counter is becoming empty and the queue are becoming longer in the banks, simply because they can not pay staffs any longer.
These are facts we know. Some years back, we saw how banks were making every other job look inferior and one would wish if only I can get a bank job I will be made. Today the case is different banks are downsizing and has become a pitiable profession and same as other sectors.
Now straight to my point; money is now found in entrepreneurship and skilled jobs.
The mechanic who calls you Oga sir, makes at least 2000 to 3000 for fixing your car, so if he fixes an average of 3 cars, he goes home with at least 7000 plus. In a month, he makes a minimum of 150 to 200k. Yes he call you Oga. He has built his house from calling you Oga and you the oga can't even afford to pay your rent any more.
The woman who sells food by the road side, makes a profit of of 2000 to 3000 on a daily basis and in a month makes a minimum of 60 to 90k.
The man who sells pure water in bags makes 1000 a day and sometimes 1200 so in month he makes 30k.
The taxi driver take you from Maitama to Airport and collects 6k per drop in a day he does 2 to 3 trips and goes home to save 5k daily; in a month he makes over 100k.
My point is, there is still money in the economy but not where is used to be. It is hidden in businesses you will never thought of doing. But trust me ,that is where the money is now.
Stop looking for white collar jobs and dirty yourself.
Start that business and grow it over time. Don't keep waiting and wasting. Start that fish farming, poultry, snail keeping, soap making, fashion and design, laundry, flower garden, farming etc.
This is where the money you have been looking for has relocated to. Remove that suit and tie that is suffocating you; so you don't commit suicide and pick up that job.
Who cares if you are a mechanic, at least you can pay the bills. That is what matters. So dirty your hands my good friend and put food on the table. Stay blessed.

Zaitoon:

There is no hierarchy in Islam. Our prayers break down all the human-made barriers. Everyone is equal in front of Allah. Whether they are black or white, rich or poor, presidents or janitors, we all come together and stand shoulder to shoulder while praying. It is a proof of true equality, solid unity and universal brotherhood and sisterhood.

Allah says in the Qur’an: "O humankind! We created you from a single soul, male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, so that you may come to know one another. Truly, the most honored of you in Allah’s sight is the greatest of you in piety. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware." (49:13)

Islam for Muslims / Re: Only Allah Can Judge Me This Ramadan by Musharraf: 4:41pm On May 27, 2017
Praise be to Allaah.

The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Allah has cursed Khamr (intoxicants – alcohol, wine etc.), the one who drinks it, the one who pours it for others, the one who sells it, the one who buys it, the one who makes it, the one who it is made for, the one who carries it, the one who it is carried to and the one who consumes the money from its sale.”
[Sunan Abu Dawud – Classed as Sahih by Shaykh al-Albaani]

Commentary:
Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), and gambling, and Al-Ansaab, and Al-Azlaam (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are an abomination of Shaytaan’s (Satan’s) handiwork. So avoid (strictly all) that (abomination) in order that you may be successful” [Al-Maa’idah 5:90]
The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Every intoxicant is Khamr, and every intoxicant is Haram (prohibited).” [Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Alcohol leads to many harmful things, and deserves to be called “the mother of all evils” – as it was described by the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam), who said: “Alcohol is the mother of all evils.” [Classed as Hasan by Shaykh al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 1854]
The curses surrounding Khamr (intoxicants – alcohol, wine etc.) mentioned in the above Hadith which we are discussing are 10 and the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) listed them in the following order:

1. He mentioned alcohol itself as a cursed creation of man as He (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Allah has cursed alcohol”.

2. Allah cursed the drinker of Alcohol. This also includes drugs in all its forms and varieties because the purpose is one: intoxication and causing failure to the functions of the brain. Whoever takes drugs, sells its pills and grass and other varieties is also cursed. Likewise the one who orders it, the one it is taken to, the trafficker, the distributor and the one who plans its distribution and the one who covers up for it and the rest of the drug ring are all cursed.

3. Allah cursed the one who pours alcohol for others to drink whether it is guests or customers. This includes employees in reception centers, cafés, restaurants, bars, pubs and clubs.
4. Allah cursed the seller. This is the person who owns the alcohol in this store, restaurant or club and sells it to others through the process of his business.

5. The one who purchases alcohol is cursed. This is the person who buys alcohol for one reason or another, not necessarily for consumption: he may be restocking the shelves, buying it as a present or ‘doing his job’; all these people are cursed nonetheless.

6. Allah has cursed the manufacturer. This includes every employee in the brewery or winery that produces alcohol in all its varieties whether from grapes, dates, whey or barley, whether it was light, lager, spirits or concentrated all of them are cursed.

7. The ones who gets the alcohol made for him is also cursed, it may be a pre-order for an event, store, warehouse or household. Everyone involved in this arrangement is also cursed.

8. Allah has also cursed the one who carries and transports alcohol. This includes international, national and local transportation from one country to another, one state to the other or from the brewery to the distributor. Included in this list are freight trucks, couriers and taxis that transport people or their alcohol or both.

9. The one it is transported to. This is the person who is waiting for its arrival, he is also cursed.

10. The one who consumes the money from its sale. This is the owner of the brewery or the bottle shop who sells it and profits from its sale.

This can not only include individuals but entire companies and corporations. All their assets, employees and activities are cursed by Allah.
Dealing with Alcohol in all of its forms is one of the worst sins that a Muslim can commit, especially after they have heard of its prohibition and the curse it calls upon the drinker. If you consume alcohol and still pray, know that your prayer is not accepted for 40 days as the Messenger (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) informed us in a authentic Hadith related in the Sunan of Ibn Maajah on the authority of Abdullah Ibn Umar (radi Allahu anhu):

“Whoever drinks alcohol and gets drunk Allah will not accept his prayer for 40 mornings. If he dies he will enter the hellfire and if he repents Allah will accept his repentance. If he returns to the sin, drinks and becomes drunk again, Allah will not accept his prayer for 40 days. If he dies he will enter the hellfire but if he repents Allah will accept his repentance. If he returns to the sin, drinks and becomes drunk again, Allah will not accept his prayer for 40 days. If he dies he will enter the hellfire but if he repents Allah will accept his repentance. If he returns to the sin again, (the 4th time) it is a promise of Allah that he will feed him from ‘Rad-ghat-til Khabaal’ on the Day of Judgment. They asked the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam), what is ‘Radghattil Khabaal’? He (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “(it is) the extracted juice of the people of the hellfire.”

“Allah will not accept his prayer for 40 days” means that he will not be rewarded for them (his prayer), but he is still obliged to pray; in fact he is obliged to do all the prayers. If he forsakes prayer during this time, he will be committing one of the worst of major sins, one which some of the scholars said amounts to kufr, Allaah forbid.

According to another hadith found in Sahih Bukhari and Muslim, the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Whoever does not repent from drinking (Khamr – intoxicants) in this world will be deprived from it in the hereafter.”
And Allah knows best!

I pray He provide another means of sustenance for you.

immediately they sent mail to inform everyone
and apologized for d power outrage that they will fix it before 9:00pm.
And if anything happen they will inform us,
before 7:00pm, the light was back again.
I was like no light ke, it has never happen before,
Where will I start from as in no touch light, no candle and no generator,
nothing nothing.
I remembered back then, If such happen for Nigeria, we will start contributing #400 to buy new transformer, and that may take a year before fixing the light back, what a country.

It is difficult to answer your question without knowing your profile. People are different, and different people may make it in different places.

But as a general rule, I would say this: Dont go in a country in order to take from them. Only go to countries where you have something valuable (according to them) to offer. When you have something of value to offer to the people of a country, you would be gladly welcomed, and will make millions.

Of course, diplomas and certificates in themselves have no value. The skills expertise and know how be it football, IT, or even simple things like languages etc. are what people are looking for. If you've got valuable skills, you will be a king in any country, as far as they value your skills.

I for instance, speak 4 western languages. Even English is but the third language I speak. Anywhere I go, if I want to make money, I just teach any of those languages, and money starts flowing in wink

I am a Civil Engineer by profession

@ the Bolded,

this is exactly what I meant, and you and I know that 99% of blacks going there have no (real) professional job waiting for them there. They just go to "hustle". And we know what this hustle is all about.

OP, i rarely give advices in this forum, unless it is expressly demanded of me. But in this case, I say it again clearly: unless you have a real position in a serious firm waiting for you there, please stay off such countries (oman, Russia, and the likes etc.)

Then which country can u advice one to go?
