he really isnt meant to answer to the president, but with the way nigeria is setup presently. he or the agency would simply be used as a political tool (think efcc) and not for good governance. sad!

lol . . .  Happy Sunday ! @Must_a_far

Auditing government? Well, will not be shocked if some wise-guy comes in here to claim that is the job of the EFCC. lol. I am not entirely sure if auditing is part of accounts management in that country. We just released another 2700 billion or more for this year. Wonder if we will get 2.3 billion back in treasury at the end of the year. Only hope this time around the money be applied for good. Like that is new. Year after year, we continue to hope . . . man, this is depressing!
Year after year, we continue to hope . . . man, this is depressing! HOPE ABUSE!

AUDITING! shocked shocked nobody in nigeria audits anything. yes some would be quick to jump at me and say but we have PWC, KPMG and the likes in naija. SIMPLY! they do everything else but auditing. nigeria doesnt have an audit culture, if not peope like me wont be outside nigerias shores. i can imagine them doing an audit on goverment, HEADS WOULD ROLL!

If this is what you call level headed discourse? I rest my case, I achieved this thing by my self, under no possible circumstance would I allow you or anybody to disrespect my person, have a nice life.
that response was prompted by the answer u had given to my earlier question. you state thats its wind powered, electric powered etc etc. but it doesnt look such. i had hoped u'll give a little more insight into how it worked. but if u think my kweshuns werent level headed enough then i guess u grouped me with those that think its a toy? Correct?

The funny thing is that some of these guys thinks I owe them, I only posted this to see people reaction, to help me make up my mind on something, only few coherent response has been received so far, what is it with black people? I only try and will always apply my brain the best way I can, am not here t prove anything and I really have no apology, I was hopping for some level headed discourse, but is quite unfortunate.
i hoped to have a level headed discourse with you but u didnt respond to my comment. you instead chose to respond to the one getting at u. if you are willing to do so, i'm here. [s]most of them don go sleep so we go fit get some peace.[/s]

It was of course made from scrap metal, fiberglass, plastic etc, it wasn't like it was assembled, every thing was uniquely molded, on the energy side, it runs on combination of electric and wind power, zero emission.

This a public forum, I knew people would have different opinion, some good some bad, is human nature.
STOP PISSING DOWN MY BACK AND TELLING ME ITS RAINING ALREADY! [s]this my quote is useful in various situations, make i go copyleft the thing[/s]

with that off my chest, can we see a photo of ur workshop or a photo of what you used in creating the molds. u claim it runs on electricity, how long does the battery(im assuming) lasts, at wat speed, maximum acceleration. i'll assume u didnt mention wind power.
Car TalkRe: I Made This Motorbike With My Bare Hands by mustafar1: 5:55pm On Feb 06, 2009
can you please give some detail into what went into it. if you say u assembled it from scrap. that is like throwing a stone into the darkness. what kinda scrap? did u mean, u melted scrap metal and used the resulting ore to mold the different parts. some have asked wat u mean by alternate energy? is it groundnut oil, used cooking oil, solar, water, wind, hydrogen, oxygen, CO2, nitrogen, i could keep listing the list.

some claim its a toy, some claim its not. simply saying its not a toy doesnt convince my curious mind. i might know someone in the federal ministry of science and technology. that might be my reason for asking.

i read on someones blog, his pet project for 2009 is to encourage nigerians to take pictures. i agree, TOTALLY! call it a paparazzi movement or whatever, but pictures tell a million and one stories. the only thing that beats it, is a video recording of the same events.

what would you say about a response like this,
"Let all Africans forget about cancer, our problems are so cumbersome that cancer is least among them. It is bad gorvernace or looting the tresury that is bordering us or non exisiting infracstruture"
that was exactly what was said before AIDS knocked out a large chunk of the subsaharan african population.

Since Yar'adua came to power, his policy of refund of unspent budget money back to government coffers has been yielding positive results. I remember the ministry of health episode that led to the resignation of the minister and others. I also recall how the Almighty Iyabo Obasanjo sweated trying to riggle herself from bribe allegation. This afternoon, I heard from the Radio Nigeria 4PM news that the House of Reps returned about #2.1 billion unspent budget allocation for 2008 to the Government coffers. I am impressed that this is happening in Nigeria. It is a sign of good things to come. Since the House of Rep has made this refund, I know other beneficiaries would follow suite because the House can now investigate with clear conscience any organisation/parastatal that failed to refund unspent budget allocation. I just pray that the returned monies are properly utilised. Kudos to Yar'adua administration for this policy. I know we are not yet there but it is a step in the right direction. At least this will help toinculcate the habit of accountability in governance and reduce corruption to some level. House, what are your takes on this?
can the house of thieves members also supply us with the total amount of the allocation and how every penny they claim to have spent was spent, with backup to support each claim. we'll dissect and digest the information ourselves and decide if they are worth commending.

after all thats meant to be done as regards CCTV is done, and it is functioning the way its meant to. i see a situation where we'll be watching police officers collect full-current and half-current live and direct every nite on national TV. oh snap, that wont be possible because for CCTV to work fine, the police force would have been made a lot more efficient and effective so they wont need to collect current anylonger.

while we may be quick to abuse the police officers,i hope we all realise that you cannot do this anywhere else in the world and go away scot free without being prosecuted even in zimbabwe or singapore, these police officers are poverty ridden same as an average nigerian yet they are putting their lives on the line to make these same nigerians safe, rather than this highlighting police corruption,i think it is an indictment on us nigerians and crass indiscipline, when  military men brutalised uzoma okere,we all condemned it,same as other police brutality, well for me i personally think the woman should be ashamed of herself and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law as there is no excuse for using a car to virtually run a uniformed police officer down, especially a female one, she could be pregnant or havingany health issues at that time
i would have said this was a case of assault on the part of the driver. she wasnt trying to run thru the policewoman, these are traffic policemen. the police officer saw it fit to sit on the hood of her car. while the car was either moving or about to move.

all IBB has said might be true, but it sounds like BS because there sure is something he isnt telling. i honestly think there is more to to it than this. i read somewhere that he is going to document it all(june 12 shananigans) in his upcoming tell all book. he wants y'all to buy his book to find out all the other pieces that would complete the puzzle and make him only a treasury looting maradona instead of an election annulling, cold hearted, nigerias woes foundation re-enforcing, maradona that he is.
PoliticsRe: IBB: The Real Reason I Annulled June 12 by mustafar1: 6:13pm On Feb 05, 2009
He was put in jail after the election? reason given was, because he declared himself president or president-elect. the govt claimed it was a treasonable act. some others were handpicked and thrown in jail as well (ABOUT 63 people).

Lucab, is your argument painting a picture of him helping avert a coup? cos all he did was defer it to a later date, aka abacha snatching power.
