dats true, the drug prescriptions are always written in abbreviations, but when money mata reach,it has to be clearly stated.lol!

I'm not aware of doctors writing bills in the first place, silly. In some private settings--which, presumably, you are referring to--this is usually done by the nurses and/or the receptionist who already know the prices of services rendered.

In the government establishments, all billings are done by the accounts department.

@OP, I think its more of gender thing than need to obscure the prescription contents from patients. From my experience, most female doctors usually have better handwriting compared with their male counterparts.

Nigeria: Bomb Blast Rocks Branch of Christ Embassy Church in Suleja
19 February 2012

A bomb blast allegedly targeted at a branch of the Christ Embassy Church in Suleja went off at about 10 am Sunday morning.

While the casualty level couldn't be ascertained as at time of filing this report, police confirmed one person injured.

The Bomb went off at Eminence Hotel, Morocco Road at the centre of Suleja town while Sunday service was ongoing. The hotel houses a branch of Christ Embassy Church.

LEADERSHIP gathered that the hotel had few guests when the bomb went off but no fewer than ten cars were destroyed by the blast as the combined team of police and soldiers observing the state of emergence in the area swung into action to control the situation.

The police public relation officer in Niger state command confirmed to LEADERHIP that the police Divisional Police officer in Suleja had just informed them about the bomb blast but said only one person was injured.

Well, this was discussed in the previous thread. While Nigeria's population growth remains so high and jobs aren't added quickly enough, poverty will increase.

So you can either figure out a way to add an enormous number of jobs, or cut down on population growth.

Probably both will be necessary.

Neatly put. I however would place greater emphasis on cutting down our population growth. The number of jobs needed to be created annually to keep up with our growth is in the millions, and I frankly do not see that happening anytime soon.

Nigerians just have to try to rein in their reproductive capabilities.

I don't think it cuts across all federal institutions. For instance most federal hospitals and universities have been paid their workers. Not sure of other federal ministries though. . .
