So they should shut up and watch all Nigerians killed by the the useless government? pray that you don't experience the virus
What is different from what the past Gov did during the time of Ebola?

All they had to do was place a travel ban on the most affected country, Italy has the highest mortality rate, common sense should tell them it's a redflag for any immigration services in the world but your leaders as usual don't know better.
Secondly isn't there a check up spot at the airport to screen folks coming in and out of the country.
When Ebola was endemic and Liberia was worse hit why didn't the present Gov. ban flights to and fro Liberia...Sawyer brought it into Nigeria from Liberia but it was settled. I remember the opposition that time blaming the present gov of allowing a case of Ebola enter the country...same thing this want to play...Ok place a ban of most affected country but now we are having secondary infections. 1 or 2 of people of all most all European countries and Asian countries has gotten it. Can you ban all of them. Moreover when secondary infections start even unknown carriers from unknown countries will have it...every day you hear of a new country citizen diagnosed with it

u are a fool wen PDP were in power the time of Ebola didnt they handle it.
the guy from Liberia that brought it...did they ban flight from Liberia even when it was known that Liberia was worse hit. Remember sawyer that brought Ebola from Liberia and the opposition started shouting that present wasn't doing well... There were few cases of Ebola and it was handled well by CDC...so why do you think CDC won't handle this already when we have just 1 reported case

First off don't ever compare USA to Nigeria in terms of immigration activities, people that goes in and out of USA are a 100times more than in Nigeria.
and what of Spain, Germany , France etc...Moreover US have the capacity to handle those numbers so it is comparable because they have the capacity...see when something becomes a pandemic there is little you can do to prevent the spread because even some people that are carrying it don't even show symptoms. Recently a case of Georgian has it, it has gone to that extent that any person from a nationality can have it due to secondary transfer. You might ban Italy and UK today , tomorrow they will say a Ghanian has it...you will ban Ghana, next tomorrow you will hear a new country citizen has gotten it

It's not isolated but u don't need to be a rocket scientist to know d situation in Italy and put preventive measures in place for people coming that country. So PDP and d senate are absolutely right
So how did it enter US and UK with all their sophisticated equipment... We should blame Trump na...When Ebola came to Nigeria why did Nigeria at that time not ban flights from Liberia when we knew Liberia was the hardest hit. Remember Sawyer...nawa

Coronavirus didn't find its way to USA rather they brought back their infected citizena for better treatment

Unlike Nigeria that has abandoned her citizens

One funny thing about this Coronavirus is that it doesn't check your political position, your level in the society or your account balance before infecting.

So if the Govt want, they should act, if they want, they shouldn't. Na fear everybody dey!
All diseases doesn't check status...what you said no make sense

This is just a flu and the Chinese govt put two whole provinces with a total population of 600million people on 24-7 lockdown

This is just a flu and governments around the world are concerned and worried

I hope you catch this flu
it is actually a flu virus but a new one that is not known to man...

Frustrating to see smart people not getting it, this thing is basically the flu. Last flu season 60 million people had the flu and 57,000 people died from complications of the flu, most were elderly or already sick from something else.
wait!...you mean probably it is an overreaction to the already known flu...hmmm....

its was never "only a question of when we will get it"...

this would give the U.N, W.H.O and other international health organisations a way into Nigeria and destabilize Nigeria from within while people like you would happily welcome the UN, WHO e.t.c. and say they are the good guys.
WHO, UN etc are already in Nigeria...what are you saying...All UN NGOs have offices in every country

yes, ban all the countries infected.. these countries wouldn't stigmatize themselves the way they would stigmatize Africans.. the ignorant quote below has some points..
it is almost a pandemic with somany countries having it. What that means is a Cameronian can get it from Spain and return back home. Without showing any symptoms he can go to Lagos or calabar and do one or two things then spreads the virus...it becomes inevitable when a virus become pandemic...it was only a question of when we will get it

Travel ban on affected countries is right thing to do. They shouldn't have allowed people from China, Italy, Iran and other affected countries to come here at all.
what of US, they have cases to, UK , France, Germany, Australia etc...infact all most all countries have a case now because it is becoming a pandemic...so are you saying they should have banned all countries

Keep quiet there !!! He came in on the 25 with symptoms , went to the hospital on 26th and his test result came out positive on the 27th so stop saying gibberish ... Today a senator said he wasn't satisfied with the approach of the Buhari govt at the international airport in screen for Covid 19 and he prefered the south African method which didn't allow people leave the aircraft till they were screened as against Inept Buhari method of handing incoming passengers palmphlets with phone numbers to call if they suspect they are sick with any flu like symptoms.

We pray Buharis incompetence doesn't make this worse as nobody trust in his ability to handle such an outbreak
how did affected victims get in the US ,UK , France etc and were not detected ?

Yes, summer should reduce it, although a bit concerned that hotter countries like Bahrain and Iran are reporting cases.

It's not the heat per se that kills viruses but lack of moisture. In colder countries, we close windows in winter, turn the heating on and the indoor environment is generally damp and moist. Whereas in summer, windows are open and there is no moisture for them to thrive.
I had same argument that my April or so the rate will reduce

Your understanding of epidemiology is poor.

The Spanish Flu had a low fatality rate and yet killed half of Europe. It's the rate of infection that makes the disease dangerous
I know that

Ebola was not highly contagious. Corona is.

Before Ebola infect 1,000, Corona has infected 1,000,000

So 3% of such a widely transferrable disease is a big deal, and can translate to millions of deaths within a short space of time.

Thankfully, by April or May, we would have an effective drug against it. Remdesivir and good old Chloroquine are proving highly effective so far, just require more testing.
Nice....Do you feel the summer coming will reduce the spread of the virus since it is a form of flu virus

Nothing happening today is new

There were plagues in 1820 and 1920 that wiped out a substantial amount of the human population. The Cholera outbreak of 1820 and Bubonic plague of 1920 came and went, the world remained.

Floods and Earthquakes have been happening since before your parents were born, there were two whole world wars last century.

Some of you need to stop acting as if the kingdom of God hasn't been at hand for over hundred years. There is nothing new happening under the face of the earth, it is just a repetition of events, it's the same exam questions, but differently worded.

Your world will come to an end when it is your turn to exit the earth. That is your day of judgment.
you said my mind
