I’m sorry I can’t remember the date as this was last year and his visa has already been approved.

His old biometrics was valid for 3years, I paid for a new one because he just recently renewed his passport (10years) so I wanted his visa to be valid for 10years.

IRCC didn’t acknowledge that I paid for the new one as the old biometrics valid for 3years was still showing up in his portal.

I sent several webforms with proof of new biometrics payment and that was rectified. Although my case and yours are not entirely the same, but I believe yours should be resolved if you submit proof of payment via webform aswell.

This happened to my dad. All I did was submit proof of payment and uploaded it via webform and this rectified the issue. I will advise you do the same. Cheers!

My friend never mentioned that, they took his with his passport then gave him courier sheet or whatever they call it with photocopy of his passport data page
That’s the only thing he went with the day he got his passport back

Yes, they asked him to provide them with the documents he got after he did his biometrics and when he gave it to them, they reviewed the docs and gave it back to him then proceeded to collect his passport submission letter from IRCC, passport and photocopy of his passport bio data page. In return they gave him a paper with stamp on it that he would use to come pick up his passport.

Please can anyone else share their opinion on this? Because now I am worried.

That’s the reason they didn’t stamp it, did you submit it by your self or through courier
They would have asked ya about it since they couldn’t find it
You have to resubmit and if it’s more than 30 days just like you said it may lead to visa refusal
You have to submit through courier I think they do some kind of appease which will cost ya a little cash

Good day, please I just need clarification on this cause now I am concerned for my brother. He mentioned that when he went to submit his passport in Lagos, they asked him to show the documents they gave to him after he did his biometrics and when he showed it to them, they acknowledged it and returned the doc back to him. Should I be worried about the stamping of his passport? Please anyone with similar experience should help answer this too.

Congrats! Yes they can submit at any vfs, just confirm the requirements.

Their tracker is yet to reflect this and there is no visitor visa details but as I have read in this group, I do not think it’s a big deal

Good day everyone, my mum has an appointment to get her biometrics done tomorrow the 28th but with the new of public holiday tomorrow and Thursday what do you advise she does. Will the appointment for her biometrics still hold? Also I checked their website and their calendar shows the holiday is for Thursday and Friday. Please any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone, please I have a question.

I submitted VV application for my parents and sibling yesterday June 19th

I got biometrics request letter for my mum and sibling immediately but none for my dad.

My dad is the primary applicant and has an existing biometric that is still valid till 2026. While filing my dad's application I paid for a new biometric so that his visa will be valid till the expiry of his passport i.e 2033

My question is what do I do about my dad's biometric letter that is yet to be received? I tried uploading the receipts via his portal but it's greyed out. Is it too early to send a web form about this?

Also, I tried creating a tracker account so I could track the progress of their application but I keep getting an error even though all necessary informations were entered correctly. Do I need to wait for a few days to create a tracker? Thanks

How much is the flight? is the flight final destination Nanaimo Airport? I am female too, but i am still considering if i will be attending this August because my 9 month baby was refused to go with me, and it very hard for me to go without her, That VO wicked oh, want to separate mother and a sucking child, so i am still considering deferring to winter while i apply for her.

The flight was for 400k and I don't think nanaimo has an airport tho lol, my final destination would be in Vancouver then I'd take a ferry to nanaimo. Awwwwwnnnn how's your baby tho? Yes I totally understand you just need to take your time and think things through
