Where did you get your 30%?

Egbira has a huge Christian population that you may not see at first but the more you familiarized with egbiraland that you will know they have at least 30% Christian population. Religion wise, they are not so different from Yorubas.

I see the image laundry arrangement of this topic and so many monikers to paint Osibanjo as the best thing after toast bread. For me and sane thinkers....Osibanjo is weaker than the bress of an 80yr old grandma. How would a man that is hounded and stamped upon by his juniors have the ability to lead? If he resigned and called the bluff of Abba Kyari when he was hounded we would rally behind him!!!... But based on events like the NEMA issue...Osibanjo is a FRAUD!!

This has always been the game plan you Ipob; the taught of having a true Omoluabi directing the affairs of the country normally drive you, people, crazy. There's absolutely nothing you can do to change that, Osibanjo is the vice president of Nigeria and may likely be your president in 2023.

He'll not resign simply because "enemy of progress" want him to resign. He'll continue to serve his fatherland because it was the people that gave him the mandate, not Aba kyari.

Politics / Re: Why The Land Use Act Needs To Be Repealed by myobjective: 1:08pm On Mar 20, 2020
Blue3k:

Homestead principle says land belongs to the person who settled on the land and making improvements. The second way is to buy said land. The land should be owned by individuals who have title or "hold" it already. Remember 97% of land is untitled. The people who have title or hold the land would simply formally register it with state. This just neccessary to track who owns what.

The complications come with communally owned spaces. There's probably local laws sd customs. The courts and llcsl legislatures sort that out. I hope this libertarian answer is satisfactory.

Thanks, I now get your perspective on the issue.

Thunder kee that Osibanjo midget, whose under his watch as veepee, more Christians have been killed in Nigeria. The truth is, should any southwestern come out to contest, that's the easiest way for North to retain the seat. You can't claim to be against Northern injustice, while at same time going the Northern way.

In your dream. No one will give the hateful IPOB the presidency on the plate and the west will never be blackmailed to give up what is rightfully theirs.
We'll come out en-mass to support a southerner and the Yorubas are better positioned to produce the next. If you like you can go and lined up behind another northerner, in other to continue your slavish attitude since when you all are afraid to vie for the number one job in the land.
Politics / Re: Why The Land Use Act Needs To Be Repealed by myobjective: 11:47am On Mar 20, 2020
That's a stupid arguement. Nobody loses anything because the land until they sell. The governor can already confiscate land for what ever reason. Prolonging use laws only harms investment in sector wheather you're selling or not.

What I still don't quite get is "when you say the land should be transfer to the people" do you mean the local chiefs, the subsistence farmers that has been using the land for ages or divided among all the indigenous families that can lay claim to that locality-eve at this, how will the land divided among these families?

None of that matters to you because you actually care about the economy or individual liberty. Most of you too dense for your own. First it's about ruga then you shifted goal post. Continue to be a mumu for your state governor.

I'm in support in giving the land back to the people because that will allow farmers, property developers and the general public to use the land more meaningfully for general economic activities but I want to know how this land will be distributed among people.

You are a bloody shameless hypocrite like all your yaribanza brothers
.

The most hypocritical fools on this platform are those from the land of the rising sun, those without any resources but always canversing for resources control because they are eyeing the oil of their minorities neighbours.

Those that have 5 mouldy unproductive states that will board the next available night bus to the rest of Nigeria to hustle for their surviver.

You Yorubas will oppose any move that will see to full resource control as regards oil.

The reality is that no states currently in Nigeria apart from the oil producing states and Lagos can survived full restructuring. That is the reality and only chest better from the land where most states internal generates revenue accounts for less than 10% of current spending/budget will open clamour for total restructuring that will rendered their states vulnerable to famine.

In their bid to despite the north and the weat they fail to realised that they also contributing nothing to our common prosperity and are as parasitic than others to alwaysbpoint accusing fingers to.

Your jealousy of the Niger Delta is just too much.

We know how you yaribanzas were all over the Akwa Ibom thread seething with envy and condemning all the projects posted there as unnecessary and wasteful.

No one cares about what the south-south do with their share of federal allocation. We in the west are only interested in a better country for all. We all know the people are region renounned for hate and condemination of others.

You left your Tinubu fleeced region to put your amebo mouth on Sokoto power project calling it a waste while you ignore all the fraud and theft being carried out by that canker worm Tinubu in your fetish region.

What has Tinubu stolen from you, your people and region? Tinubu was a governer 13 years ago and has never taken up any federal position but you all will never stop talking about him. He is corrupt, we all know all Nigeria politicians are corrupt. In fact, corruption is more pronounced in your region than any part of Nigeria, the evidence is the number of former eastern governors in jail and on trial for corruption.

We know why you hate Tinubu. He is the only obstacle in your way from taking over Lagos ( which is a pipe dream). The more you guys try to blackmail him to suit your bias narrative the more we defend him and help him achieve all his political dreams.

We both know that you deliberately stated mining and not oil exploration in your foolish write up because your parasitic existence is dependent on Niger Delta oil

Thief!

Mining also include oil exploration but the majority of Nigeria oil are offshore, no one will give up that to only the adjacent oil-producing states. All Nigeria offshore oil belongs to Nigeria.

The Igbos are the most parasitic group in Nigeria. They are everywhere uninvited causing the problem and engaging in all forms of criminal activities.

Some ppl here find it difficult to understand Nigeria's prblm. The oil producing states have 13% derivation with larger portion of revenue allocation but still there is nothing to show there. Go to Katsina, Jigawa, Gombe, Kano & otha northern states and see many newly built schools all over, road network everywhere, water supply is ensured in most places, salary is being paid on time & on monthly basis with little allocation they're collecting.
Unfortunately, masses in SW states never questioned their leaders abt their responsibilities, always wasting their time in Nairaland abusing leaders at the centre instead of holding the right persons accountable for their allocation. The point is, even if resource control is accented to the states those people will keep complaining forever because they've the worst governments in Nigeria. If ur leaders are brainwashing u and always using hatred to mislead u then u can neva understand where the problem lies in. Think again!

Are you talking about a different north from the one in Nigeria?

To begin with, these bolded states are not doing better than their counterpart in the south-west when in most cases these states get more from the federal government than those in the south-west( excluding Lagos). For example, Kano gets as much as 125% of what Oyo gets despite the latter having more urban areas, bigger landmass and more responsibilities. Katsina gets more than Ondo, Ogun, Ekiti. Yet Katsina is a much poorer state in infrastructure, human development index than any south-western states.

Finally, the most logical electorate who vote and their representative to do what is right reside in the southwest while the north-west has the most irrational voting population.

But seriously, Biafra saga is why no Igbo man would be president of naija in the nearest future. Igbos should just forget about the presidency, they aren't getting it. Yoruba should also not think of 2023. Maybe 2031

The presidency is coming down south anything short of that will leads to possible disintegration of Nigeria.

Northern Nigeria should wait for another 8 years of southern presidency.
