I am a currently single, in a relationship that will likely lead to marriage very soon.

I am on the verge of applying for Canada Express Entry as I have applied for my WES verification as I prepare for my IELTS.

I will be 30 in September with an M.sc and 3years work experience in banking while my spouse is 28, with a B.sc and 3 years experience in contact centre.

Please, I want to know which option offers better chance(s) for selection and approval.

OPTION A:
My spouse and I get married (Court), we both write IELTS, and WES verification and apply for Express Entry as a couple. (Combined estimated CRS is 477)

OPTION B:
I apply alone, verify my credentials, write IELTS, and then, when selected from the pool, I then get married and update my profile with details of marriage.
(My estimated CRS is 476)

You have better chance.
Try to get your IELTS and WES done soon. Enter the pool, get your ITA, then After you submit your documents get married and add spouse at that point.

It is very possible, it just depends on how well you can outline your career goals and convince the visa officer. Although, it's usually better to go for a degree that is higher.

The wife because she’s probably the younger one. You have enough work experience to get maximum points and studying law with law school is evaluated as masters degree. Both of the should write IELTS obviously and evaluated their educational qualifications then try the CRS tool to see who has the higher score

You might now get it. I did ECA twice, after 3 months I went to post office but they claimed they didn’t receive it. My second ECA was sent to someone in Canada which was received In 24hrs

I am the principal applicant for Express Entry.
my international passport bears my maiden name, WES and IELTS also bear my maiden name.
But my bank account bears my martial surname.
I am worried about my martial surname on my bank account, because that’s the account I intend to use as POF. Hope it won't raise brows that the names are different? Is this issue worthy of being worried about or there are steps I need to take?
P.S: I have my marriage certificate and change of name details.
