You should be able to pull this off with N13.5m or thereabout (Basic finishing) if you're not picking Quartz, marble tops, chrome finished balustrades and 3D floors.

@ Whizbrain, the land in the survey is too small to take something reasonable without big compromises.
If narrow is your thing, there are some cool narrow house designs for odd shaped plots and extremely small plots. But if this is a cornered-piece lot, you can still do some very amazing stuff on the land.

For this type of land, I will do max 3 bed storey house (it won't be called duplex though but modern)

There are certain burdens and problems that are too big for you to carry? All you need do is to hand them over to the Burden Bearer.

If it is poverty that wants to hinder all the great dreams that the Almighty God has given to you, do not fear the hindrance because He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. Are there people standing up against you? Are they persecuting you and distracting you from that which God has designed you for? Just relax; God who levels all mountains knows the best judgement for your enemies. He has assured you that when the enemies come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a standard against them. He has assured you that no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper. He will supply you with the strength to succeed when failure rises up. He will still all the storms rocking your boat and at the end you will look for the mountains but you will see them no more in Jesus’ name.

There is no mountain that is beyond God.

In all honesty, if people will read the good details and learn. The Chateau was a well planned project that has been conceived over 15 years ago.

I actually created the estate and carefully choose the end of the block. I did some CSR project to win the heart of the community and have full access to the 24 hours patrol of the local vigilantes.

So, the automated barrier entry at the gate is well designed to trigger an alarm when people get past certain region in the house. Not saying much more than this.

I actually created my own highbrow Sagamu castle in a no-brow environment and set the boundaries.

I have number 1 and the support I enjoyed from number 2 cuts across the whole city as a Patron.

You know all this things na. I use the development levies I should be paying in the highbrow areas to do "the-boy-is-good" for the locals.

Just go to the highbrow Ikoyi and VI, you'll see that most of them use the simple stuffs and not the overly expensive "anko/egbejoda" designs.

I was able to do away with burglar proof in most part of the house cos it obstruct the flow. I'm presently working on another design which is like a louvre blade (can be opened and closed) for a contemporary build.

Pls remember that the chateau is built btw 2010 and 2013. We have newer designs now.

On a serious note now, I need our seasoned professionals in the house or those who have built houses before to show me picture of Step-tiles Aluminium.

This might sound funny and ridiculous but I think step-tiles Aluminium is different from what I've thought it to be for many years now.

Experienced homeowners and builders who have used longspan with step-tiles design in their project should pls share pics.
